Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay overall. We were disappointed that the balcony of the property had been closed in. The location of the condo is perfect, it’s central to everything you could need or want. Our only complaints were with the mattresses. All three of them feel like you are sleeping on a rock. If we had known this, we would have booked a different condo.

Dolphin Point

The location was great but that was the only positive. The carpet and furniture were heavy stained. There were no games or movies in the unit, no blow dryer available, no basic condiments like salt and pepper. I choose to stay in VRBO so I feel like I am in a home away from home and not a hotel. I don’t recommend this unit as a VRBO unless the owners make some changes. The unit needs some updating and better amenities.

Location and beach wonderful, condo was great for the 3 of us. Condo floor very dirty, went without shoes first day feet and socks black Main tv worked fine until last day then no picture, we weren't there to watch tv so not a big deal No communication with management except prior to arrival, had asked if any beach chairs or umbrella available, got no reply

This unit Needs work! Overall nice condo property

Kitchen was not well stocked and mostly had unclean utensils. Had to wash all eating and cooking utensils. Refrigerator was dirty and had to clean it before i could put away our groceries. The ‘hot point’ stove was cheap and outdated for a nice condo. Overall we like the property but not this unit. Will not be staying in this unit again.

Nightmare

Day-1: Sporadic water service (coming home from the beach) Day-2: Sporadic water service (coming home from a fishing trip) Day- 3: First my 10 year old daughter is badly shocked by a bed frame that has a frayed wire plugged into the outlet beside the bed. I didn't even believe it at first so I recreated the scenario and shocked the hell out of myself as well. Day-4: All seemed well until we came back to shower before dinner and as my wife was in the shower the power went out and the lights in the shower. We laughed at that point as this was already out of a movie but the power came back relatively quickly. I proceed to get in the shower after her and the power then goes out on me as I'm in the shower. Rest of the trip: Rather uneventful despite some monster size cockroaches scurrying around the common area hall ways and trash room. I drove to the rental office after a heated conversation with the guys who run this debacle. Once we go through the semantics and apologies they were going to send the handyman and call the electrician if needed. I told them to fix the toilet handle in the master as well because it runs all night long. The handyman was unable to figure out the electrical issue and thought he fixed the toilet but it was still running all day and night. The electricians showed up the next day and were the ones who explained to me what had shocked my daughter and I. These jokers were supposed to be working out some sort of credit regarding my disaster stay at their fun house but I've yet to hear a peep out of them. Good Luck if you stay here!!!

Rooms weren’t cleaned properly

On first night we found hair in tubs they weren’t clean sand on the kitchen floors. Bedding had stains on the pillows and didn’t really smell clean. Cute room outdated but overall wasn’t that bad

Beds are extremely hard but clean overall. Had a lady barge in ranting about a checkout time which was clearly different from our booking information. I didn’t appreciate her attitude whatsoever and hope she’s fired for intrusion and badgering guests

So it was painless to reserve.. got to the property seemed cool if only I knew what unit I was going to.. beds were extremely hard.. like laying on a board.. the cookware was horrible but manageable. All and all I enjoyed the stay but seriously invest in your property and get some comfy beds..

Hey Wendy, I am very sorry to hear about your experience, I wish you would have let us know about the hair clog and we would have sent maintenance over immediately to remedy the situation. We will contact the property owner about the mattresses as this is the first we have heard about the issue with the mattresses. Unfortunately, things such as pools were closed that were out of our control, as there was Tropical Storm Alberto, that was supposed to hit us directly. But once again, I do apologize about your experience, and hope you will give us another opportunity for your vacation rental.

Loved the location. Very nice condo.

The only one complaint about the condo. The couches and chairs were very dirt. Had to cover with extra blanket and cover. We would have loved having a balcony but not a game changer. Loved cooking out on the grill provided. This was our first time staying on the marina, loved it just as much as right on the beach.
