Excellent house near Charles river and Harvard

This is house located very close to Harvard square and the Charles River. Very nice neighbor hood, convenient for public transport and well furnished with everything you need to have a good stay. This is the second year in a row that we spent our summer at this house and loved it.

Great location in Cambridge. A short walk to Harvard Square. Very close to historical sites.

We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for next year! Great layout, comfortable furniture and beds, strong WiFi and excellent location to get around. The house is in a nice, safe neighborhood-we had Amazon deliveries lau on the porch for a couple of days and nobody bothered them. We met some neighbors who were very friendly.

Nice house at a great location

We greatly enjoyed staying at this house for 6 weeks. The location is close to Charles river and Harvard square. The house is well furnished. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this house.

Wonderful accommodations!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was very clean and our family of four had plenty of room. The charm of the house was perfect as well. We cook in almost every breakfast and dinner (and prep lunches to go), and the kitchen was very well apportioned. We were not missing anything that was expected and there was probably more than we needed (we did miss not having a few extra days to spend in town, though). The house is in a great location in Cambridge. We often took the bus (the stop was across the street and down half a block...close) a quick 3 stops over to the subway, and that would get us where we needed to go in the city. We did have a rental car as well, and having a driveway to park was great (street parking requires a residential permit). Even the wi-fi was great. For those that are interested in the details, in the downstairs living room, Speedtest reported 179 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up. In the master bedroom (upstairs opposite side of the house from the living room), Speedtest reported 55 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up. The owner was extremely responsive to our questions before and during our trip and was very helpful throughout. We had a great trip overall and this house certainly contributed to our great vacation experience. We would definitely stay here again!

A Lovely Stay in Cambridge Town

I’ve stayed in many rentals of this type, and my family & I stayed in this one for nearly a week. This property delivered all of the amenities of home. It was perfectly well-equipped, surprisingly spacious, and very clean. However, the biggest perks seemed to be that it is both across the street from a convenient bus stop and a short, pleasant walk away from Harvard square. Communication with the owner was also exceedingly clear and easy, and I especially appreciated the extra tips, notes, and ‘welcome snacks’ that were left for us. Thank you for a lovely stay, Sarah!

Excellent location!

House was clean and comfortable. Very close to Harvard Square, Longfellow house and the Charles River. Parking off the street was great-- left the car and walked most places or took Uber. Easy check in. Sarah was great.

Lovely, comfortable, convenient home

We stayed for MIT graduation and a wedding. The house was a great place to relax between festivities. Simple walk to Harvard Square (make sure to stop at Flour for pastries). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Off street parking was also a definite plus.

Great house! Open concept great sun!

Shared house for a Harvard Kennedy School reunion. Comfortable sleeping, good for entertaining and short walk to campus. Sarah was terrific to rent from. Lovely little patio off the kitchen.

Perfect New England Weekend Stay

We were in Cambridge visiting some family and this house was perfect to stay in for the weekend. There were 5 adults, and this space was perfect for us. The location is great, it was super easy to get in and out. The host was very flexible and helpful. We would definitely recommend this to friends and would stay here again in the future!

Wonderful stay - even better than photos!

You will not be disappointed by this wonderful rental in Cambridge! The location is incredible, the home is spotless, comfortable, larger than the photos show, updated, and fully stocked. There is a ton of natural light and plenty of space to spread out without feeling impersonal. Wonderful flow and attention to detail. We were a group of 5 adults with 2 toddlers and an infant and had more than enough space. The house was kid-friendly but still classy and functional (think: low, round cocktail table, sturdy/soft couches and chairs, kitchen island bar space for high chairs, etc.). Two parking spots in the driveway was another big benefit since street parking in the neighborhood is primarily resident only. Sarah was responsive and very easy to deal with - although there were no problems to address at all! In fact, once she found out that the cleaning crew would not be coming until the day after we were scheduled to leave, she proactively reached out to let us know it would be fine to stay as late as we would like instead of having to "check out" at the standard 12 noon time. Her practicality and generosity was so refreshing and unexpected! In summary, this is one of the best house rentals I've ever done - totally worth it! Thanks Sarah!

Cambridge Dream Vacation House

If I could pick my dream city house, this would be it. Beautifully updated with old New England charm. Perfect for a family group with a roomy common area and well-appointed eat-in kitchen. Also a small outdoor patio--perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. The location is perfect, too! A lovely neighborhood with only a 15-minute walk to Harvard Square and the Red Line. The owners were great to work with and there were no snafus. We highly recommend this property.

Clean, bright and sunny!

This is an amazing place to stay in Cambridge with river views. The house has a new kitchen, as well as 2 1/2 new bathrooms. We were very happy guests! Walking distance to Harvard Square, shopping, museums, and restaurants. Surrounding neighborhoods are breathtaking, can't wait to go back. Almost forgot to mention the private patio off the kitchen and one of the living rooms where my daughter and her husband did their workouts every morning. Heavenly!

This was my family's old home and I live in it occasionally during the year. I love this area and particularly like being close to the river, Harvard Square and the metro system, as well as easy access to the suburbs.
