Loft Penthouse frente al mar

Nuestro encantador ático de 1 dormitorio / 1 baño es soleado y acogedor. La terraza privada de la azotea tiene una impresionante vista de 180 grados de la hermosa bahía de Villefranche-Sur-Mer. El apartamento está situado en la historia principal del histórico Palais de la Marine, que se encuentra justo bajando la calle del casco antiguo y justo enfrente de la bahía. El Palais de la Marine tiene un ascensor hasta el 4to piso. Nuestro piso está ubicado a solo 1 piso arriba en el piso superior, solo 1 tramo de escaleras. El dormitorio tiene una cama queen que está abierta a la sala de estar y se puede cerrar con una pantalla de privacidad. El salón tiene un sofá con una cama plegable. La cocina y el baño han sido recientemente renovados. La cocina está totalmente equipada para cocinar. Observe a los pescadores que entran cada mañana mientras toma un café en la terraza, está a solo 2 minutos a pie del muelle donde los pescadores venden sus capturas diarias. El mercado semanal de la ciudad es todos los domingos. El mercado semanal, la tienda de comestibles, el boulanger, la pastelería, la tienda de vinos y muchos restaurantes maravillosos están a solo unos pasos. La playa virgen de Villefranche es una de las mejores playas de la Costa Azul y está a pocos pasos del apartamento. La pintoresca ciudad es encantadora y verdaderamente mágica después del anochecer. La frontera italiana está a 30 minutos. Si siente la necesidad de una escena más cosmopolita, Niza está a solo 10 minutos en coche o en tren. Disappointed to arrive and air conditioning was not working. A temporary unit had been placed in room but was not effective. I feel we should have been advised before we arrived and offered opportunity to find alternative accommodation due to France and the area we were in being on high alert for extreme temperatures. The very least we would have expected an offer of reduction in price.Everything else was perfect, location, views, bed, bathroom and kitchen facilities all excellent but unfortunately due to the lack of satisfactory air conditioning our week was not what we had hoped

Wonderfully relaxing holiday

We spent 5 blissful days in this peaceful apartment. The view from the balcony was stunning and we loved taking a morning swim right outside the building. We hope to come back again next summer.

Perfect location

We stayed in the apartment for the end of Le Tour 2024, what a great location. The apartment had all the necessary equipment including a washing machine and an Air Conditioner. Coffee machine was supplied including sufficient pods for our 5 days. We loved our stay - thank-you!

Incredible location. It was the perfect spot to tour around the Cote D’Azur. The train station is a short easy walk from the apartment and the perfect way to get around to each destination. Then we returned each day for a short walk to the sandy beach for a swim to cool down. Followed by eveninv dinners in town which were never more than an easy couple minutes walk. The apartment is well appointed and was perfect for us travelling with our teenage daughter. It was an amazing spot and can’t say enough how much we enjoyed it!

Stay in Villefranche-sur-Mer

Really enjoyed our stay at this property! Waterfront with a great view of the sea and the gorgeous surroundings from the private terrasse. Check-in process was super smooth with the property manager and she was responsive for all our questions. Ideal place for couples visiting French Riviera. Everything was well maintained and many amenities at our disposition. If ever in the area again will try to grab that and highly recommend it to friends.

Great location and view.

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Great for 2 people. View is fantastic. Location is quiet and away from the noise of the restaurants and busy areas but so close to walk to everything. The train station is a few mins walk away but you barely hear the trains. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great base to visit the surrounding areas or just spend the days at the beach.

The rental was a top choice for the view and location. Gianfranco, the “concierge” for the building was most kind and helpful. The apartment was perfect for my wife and I. Clean, well equipped, comfortable and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Thank you Suzie, Scott, and Gianfranco!

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved our stay. The location of the apartment was just perfect. You can jump into the water from right outside the apartment if you don't want to stroll to the beach. We did this every day!! The apartment is bigger than the photos portray. There was plenty of room for the three of us. Lovely large shower and comfy beds. And obviously the view is stunning. We loved Villefranche. The restaurant up the hill called bistro l'etoile was superb and good value for money. Thank you...we can't wait to return 😁

This property has it all - with almost everything within walking distance.

The property is very comfortable, clean, and has a stunning view of the Bay of Villefranche Sur Mer. It is steps away from restaurants on the water that excel in service and food; as well as shops, and a fresh fishmonger. Villefranche Sur Mer is a sophisticated small town close to Nice, Monaco, Cannes, and other towns on the Côte d’Azur. All amenities are within walking distance: shops, restaurants, grocery, pharmacies, post office, a beautiful long sandy beach, as well as the train station and bus stations for taking excursions to other towns. Another nearby attraction is Cap Ferrat and the Baronness d’Ephrussy-Rothschild Villa and gardens.

The perfect beach getaway.. a little piece of heaven

What a perfect beach getaway! We really loved our stay at this pretty, clean and comfortable apartment on the ocean. Comfortable bed and linens, comfortable furniture, a nice balcony for enjoying a petit dejeuner or a glass of wine... Such a perfect location! The beach and swimming was perfect, restaurants literally at your doorstep, and a train just above the beach that runs every 15 minutes to Nice, Eze, Cannes, Monaco and towns in between. Just a perfect stay, and Suzie and the prop. mgr. Marie-Laure made everything so easy. Many thanks!

Ideal location

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely seaside apartment in the sky. It had all the amenities you could need. It was very clean, cozy, with modern conveniences, and old rustic beams overhead. If you wish to relax and watch tv at the end of a long day make sure to bring your streaming passwords. The apt. is perfect for 1-2 people, but anymore would be too tight, imo. The apartment is SO close to everything you need- restaurants, the beach, and the train is only a 5 minute straight walk. Marie Laure, and Suzie, answered the many questions I had prior to and during my trip. They were very gracious hosts. I would definitely stay again if they would welcome me.

Words like magnificent and spectacular don't capture the magic of this property! It was beyond our expectation in so many ways: great restaurants just steps away, fabulous balcony views over the water, comfortable bed; lots of hot water in shower, speedy internet, property manager easy to access/ask questions. The space itself is nicely decorated and comfy, and because of an elevator in the building, this loft apartment is only one flight of stairs (we're senior couple and had no trouble) Con: only potential con is that the loft apartment has some sloped ceilings. My 6 ft husband had to be aware in a few spots, but not a real issue; however basketball players, beware (hehe)

Perfect Location

Comfortable apartment with a few quirks. More like a studio. Great balcony view of boats and the beach. Nice restaurant downstairs and others along the waterfront. I even jumped in and went swimning across the street as beach is very rocky. Appreciated having beach towels to use. 2nd floor door super convenient for other shops and restaurants and especially for the train. Toilet room is separate from the bathroom with sink and shower and was unlit when we arrived. Not cool because Justin from the management company told us that the owners had just departed. He installed new light bulbs the next day. He also insulted black people in the U.S. Very offensive to us given who is now governing. The apartment is on the top floor with low sloping ceilings and sloping wooden beams. I hit my head a number of times and had to bend down a lot, even to get onto the balcony. May not bother a short or younger person. Kitchen is really a narrow galley style but reasonably well stocked except for missing lids for some of the pots. But the bathroom is through the very narrow kitchen. Water for the sink and shower gets super scalding hot quite fast. So no lack of hot water but must be careful. A/C worked fine in the very hot weather. We did not use the tv. Too much great stuff around to see and do. Great position between Nice and Monaco. 2 minutes on train to Nice, 2 to next town in the other direction and its full supermarket. We stayed 8 nights. Overall wonderful stay.

L'emplacement est idéal (et Villefranche/mer très sympa), la clim fonctionne très bien, salle de bain refaite à neuf, la place de parking (quand disponible) est un vrai ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour! Communication facile pour l'entrée et sortie.Un peu plus de soin sur certains équipements (parasol cassé, manque 1 store) et ce serait vraiment parfait :-)

A very charming apartment apartment in a great location.

We felt very privileged to stay in your top floor apartment for a week. It was the perfect base for our first stay on the Riviera. Enjoying a morning coffee on the balcony while watching the sunrise over the harbour is pretty special. Of course, the balcony works just as well for a pre dinner drink. The apartment is well equiped with everything needed for an extended stay. The only negative is that the apartment is obviously set up for 2 + 2 guests and the extra furnishing required for this does make it feel a little cluttered. Sometime less is more...

Beautiful Villefranche

Stayed for 4 days at the lovely apartment. 360 degree views from the balcony are gorgeous. The town of Villefranche is charming, train or bus are not far away so you can explore the Cote d'Azur without a car. The apartment is well equipped, comfy bed, good quiet aircon and the building supervisor Giancarlo is around to help or have a good chat. The only issues were 1; I banged my head a few times on the low beams, but that's entirely my fault for being clumsy! 2; Saturday night on the balcony drinking rose wine was ruined by a very load wedding party from the restaurant below, terrible music been pumped out at ear splitting volume until past1am. I went to complain but the guy said they had a licence for the event so tough luck. I would suggest next time they inform Giancarlo so he can warn guests in the future of load events. Otherwise a lovely stay at Suzie's lovely place. Robert

Les pieds dans l'eau

Le logement est absolument parfait pour un couple, la situation dans villefranche sur mer , proche de l'eau, des restaurants.... Le train est à 3 minutes soit direction Nice ou Monaco ! La vue de la petite terrasse est magnifique , le petit + avec un service de conciergerie géré par gfranco au top Stephane et Florence

Best of Villefranche-sur-Mer

Wonderful location and cozy appartement with beautiful harbor views from terrace. Excellent professional service from booking to departing. Property manager Gianfranco was attentive and really went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. I couldn’t have been happier!

Excellent location! The washing machine wasn’t advertised but it would have allowed us to pack fewer clothes had we known We rented a car but it was really unnecessary given the location
