Bonita villa privada de 1 dormitorio ubicada en el pueblo de Cabanas con su propio jacuzzi privado. La villa está rodeada de hermosos jardines tropicales maduros y está perfectamente situada para ir a la playa cercana, a las instalaciones de golf y está a poca distancia a pie de restaurantes, bares y la estación de tren. La villa consta de una moderna sala de estar y comedor de planta abierta, cocina totalmente equipada, 1 habitación doble, baño, gran terraza con jardín y jacuzzi nuevo. Al lado de la terraza del jardín, hay una zona de barbacoa privada para disfrutar de la vida al aire libre con excelentes vistas de los jardines tropicales. Hay mucho espacio de estacionamiento con entrada privada y cochera. Los jardines que rodean la villa son abundantes con plantas exóticas bien establecidas y palmeras que se prestan como un escenario perfecto para vivir al aire libre, especialmente porque esta villa cuenta con su propia bañera de hidromasaje privada. WIFI está disponible si es necesario, 30 euros por semana, por 30 GB.

Amazing Stay!

This property was a very pleasant surprise! The photos do not do it justice, it’s a lovely setting, with a beautiful garden. The jacuzzi, the barbecue and the table outside are perfect for these hot summer days and nights. We had all our meals outside! The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. The house is big enough for 4 adults, as it has a double bed in the bedroom and two sofa-beds in the living room. The location is a in a quiet location but with everything walking distance, restaurants, shops, supermarket, beach, pharmacy, ATM, etc. Mark replied promptly to our queries and was always available, everything went smoothly and we had the best time! Thanks, Mark, we will be back!

Tired in need of an overhaul, with some sanitation

*The hot tub was great, though the resident frog/s were a bit off putting. *Apart from that we were hugely disappointed. This apartment suffers very badly from no air conditioning. The fan is noisy and inadequate. Our evenings were either insanely hot even with windows opened or we were at the mercy or mosquito and a resident cockroach. *There were very bad sanitation issues when the toilet flushed to our horror the kitchen sink filled up. We had to try DE block with our hands! We both had 3 days of gastric issues which may be related as we washed our crockery in the sink. Though we called the owner and we got quick attention, there was toilet outflow across the front door when the loo flushed thereafter in the later part of the holiday from the outside drain cover. This was also not ideal walking across the wetness. *The crockery/ pots and plans are a mishmash of odds and ends, and more like a student dorm. *The bed linen was certainly nothing like the picture they were very old and hardly fresh and crisp. *The TV is Sky news and some random ad- hoc channels. * The lighting inside was hugely inadequate with some lights not working making any kind of reading indoors impossible. * The outside spot front and back was also not working. * The outside BBQ cooking racks looked disgusting and were never going to get a try-out by me. I believe that with some care and attention this place could be a decent holiday let and it pains me to say that despite 5 attempts to contact the owner to discuss our issues we have not heard anything. We did not want anyone else experiencing what we have had. Truthfully despite the good parts of our holiday and there was much, the evenings were something we dreaded coming back to.

Buen alojamiento para una familia

En general la casa está bien, es pequeñita pero suficiente. Tiene un jardín muy bonito, íntimo y acogedor. El jacuzzi es increíble después de un día ajetreado. No le ponemos el 5 porque la cocina estaba poco equipada (no tiene exprimidor!!!), no tiene lavadora y el sofá cama está un poco viejo. De todas formas, es un buen sitio para repetir, el entorno está muy bien.

Ruhige Lage für einen entspannten Urlaub!

Schnuckeliges kleines Haus für 2 mit schöner Terrasse und schönem Garten. Ruhig und doch zentral gelegen. Auch wenn es 2 Schlafsofas im Wohnzimmer gibt, wäre es mir persönlich für 4 Personen zu eng. Den Whirlpool haben wir gerne genutzt. Auch haben wir unsere Essen auf der Terrasse genossen; man sitzt windgeschützt, nur muss man sich vor den Mücken schützen. Aber im Supermarkt oder beim „Chinamann“ gibt es alles dafür. Das Haus liegt super angebunden an der N125, aber man hört sie nicht. Eine Bahnhaltestelle ist ebenfalls ganz in der Nähe. Zu Fuß ist man in knapp 15 min. in der Stadt an der Promenade, also super für den Abendspaziergang an der Ria Formosa. Die kleine Markthalle ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen, mit frischen Produkten wie Gemüse und Obst sowie frischem Fisch. An der Promenade können wir das Restaurant Coral nur wärmstens empfehlen! Das Haus ist soweit gut ausgestattet, natürlich nicht wie Hause, aber für den Urlaub völlig ok. Kleine Beanstandungen gibt es überall, wie keine Fliegengitter an den Fenstern/Terrassentür, die Stuhlauflagen waren viel zu klein/dünn, zu wenig Kleiderbügel, zu wenig Ablagefläche im Kleiderschrank. Die Wäsche wurde 1 x gewechselt, leider ohne Ankündigung. Generell war es sauber, nur das Bad bedarf in den Fugen an der Dusche (wie immer) mehr Aufmerksamkeit durch die Reinigungskraft. Auch der Spiegelschrank könnte mal erneuert werden, ist schon sehr abgenutzt. Auch wenn nicht alles zu 100 % perfekt war, wir würden wiederkommen.

Première chose..aucun accueil du propriétaire, demande de renseignements en cours du séjour, pas de réponse.. Vaisselles très sale, l'eau du jacuzzi n'est pas propre, la salle de bain est vraiment sale, joints de carrelage noirs, petit lit, pas adapté pour les grands et costaud s grands et cost

Problemas de segurança e com o recibo de pagamento

Uma das portas para o exterior, com caixilhos de madeira e vidro estava em risco eminente de se soltarem vidros por falta de caixilho. Foi reportado aos anfitriões e nada fizeram. Por motivos de segurança deixamos de usar essa porta que dá para o quintal e pode cortar seriamente um adulto ou criança caso um dos vidros caia. Tínhamos sempre que sair pela porta primcipal e contornar a casa para aceder ao quintal. Paguei pela estadia um valor ligeiramente acima dos 800€. A fatura recebida é de apenas 80 €, o que considero um burla ainda por cima numa altura de IVAucher. O telefone que disponibilizam no site da Vrbo desliga automaticamente a chamada e os e-mails enviados são sempre mensagem de erro. Contactando os anfitriões, não respondem. Não recomendo de todo. Avaliação 0.

Charming, yes - but it needs attention.

The place is a little worn out. Basic maintenance has been neglected. Both plastic lounge chairs have broken slats. The 2 molded plastic chairs provided are both cracked. The hot tub cover is worn and torn. (The hot tub worked fine after it was repaired.) The tools for the outdoor grill are rusty. The hinges on the door shutter were broken, and the shutter fell off when we opened it. Towels are thin, old and mismatched. My bath towel had a fist-sized hole in it. The kitchen is missing basic utensils: A spatula. A vegetable peeler. A grater. A paring knife. A dish drainer. A salad bowl. A serving spoon. Replace the broken plastic colander. The 2 pans provided are camping pans. They're not meant for regular use. I would add a potholder or two. Possibly a large pot so you could cook pasta. The bedroom: The mattress is really just a box springs, not a mattress. You can feel the metal springs on it. (I’m not big - 52 kg) We live on a boat, and we can sleep on almost anything. But this one was pretty difficult. We stayed here 3 weeks. We would have left early, but the owner was good about repairing the hot tub when we arrived, and his agent found us some firewood and tools for the fireplace. (We rented this place because of the hot tub and the fireplace.) We appreciated how quickly he responded, and we stayed. This is the 12th place we’ve stayed in on this particular 5 month trip. We spend a lot of time in rented places, and I usually enjoy the quirkiness of different environments. With a little effort, this could be a super place. It’s cute, it's quaint. It has a lovely garden. It’s private. It’s near the train station, and it’s different from all the generic condos. I'd love to see this place shine again. As it is, I can't recommend it.

Nice little house but a bit dated

The property is nice but could do with updating both in furnishings and fittings WiFi in this day and age is a bit steep. The bed is rather uncomfortable but all linen was spotless and clean. Update this property and it would be wonderful. Great location as long as you have a car of which we had as no restaurants close by and beach to far to walk in the heat. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely villa with private garden and wonderful hot tub

Villa about 10 mins walk to centre, close to little train station but nice and quiet location, small kitchen but with all essentials needed to cook or BBQ. 1 bedroom, plenty of space for 2 people, may be a bit small to sleep 4. Hot tub was always a lovely temperature and was welcomed at the end of a hot day. No English TV channels, which was fine for us, does have a cd/radio player so take your own favorite music. Villa nice and clean although basic, bed comfy with change of towels and bedding mid stay. The only thing missing for us as first timers in Portugal was a welcome pack with information regarding local area ect. All other rentals we’ve had over the years have had lots of good info, think this would be most welcome for future guests, but good old google got us by. WiFi has to be paid for on arrival at €30 euros a week. Trains can get you anywhere along the coast at little cost, some stations are a good walk from beaches but they only go once an hour or every 2 hours in the afternoons. The hairy lemon bar/restaurant has a lovely swimming pool for €6 euros a day and happy hour 4-7, great food too. Best way to explore this beautiful area of Portugal is car or scooter. Alcoutim was a beautiful village, hop on a little ferry across the river to Spain and zipwire back to Portugal, fab day out but difficult to get there on public transport. Overall a lovely villa and fell in love with eastern Algarve

Great little villa for a couple.

The property had everything you need for a week's break. The bedroom is a nice size with a big closet. The bathroom is a decent size. The house has an open plan kitchenette with small sitting area. The outside of the house has a decked area, BBQ and hot tub. You have the option of lazing in the sun or relaxing in the shade. Out at the front it has car parking space. The house was very clean and they provided two sets of towels for a weeks stay. It did not have a washing machine but opposite the Tavira Shopping centre there is a laundrette and there is another one in Tavira centre should you require. The house is within walking distance to the train station. The train ride into Tavira is about 10 minutes if not less and trains run frequently. Although near the train station it was not noisy each time the train came through. The house is also within walking distance to a small supermarket, restaurants and Cabanas city centre. There are lots of restaurants to choose from. We also found some tracks to have leisurely walks near to the house. I believe there is a shop in Cabanas which hires bicycles. Mark kept in contact via WhatsApp and assisted us when needed, thank you.

Lovely place to stay

We really enjoyed staying here for a week and wished it was for longer.. the property was just the right size and perfect location, with a nice secluded garden and patio to chill out in the evening. The villa was clean and well equipped and we are hoping to book again in the future.

Great location and superb small villa

This is a perfectly charming small villa. Well laid out and the hot, cool tub is a Godsend when the evening temperatures were high. This secluded villa is set in beautiful and peaceful gardens and is ideal for couples. Perfectly located for a stroll to the local town and, not to be missed, a short walk through the golf club to Benamor for reasonably priced and good food one evening on the terrace, watching the last rounds played out. The golf club is also worth playing. Short enough to walk if temperatures are mild. Not to be missed however is playing Quinta da Cima and Quinta da Ria. Both exceptional. The town of Cabanas has enough going to fill an evening or so. A talented busker could turn a small dividend for the summer as there appears to be a lack of live music. There are supermarkets and shops catering for essentials all close by and the train station is a short walk for accessing Tavira and beyond.

Relaxing, Lovely and full of charm.

The villa was exactly as described, spotlessly clean and had every facility you would ever want and more! It is so comfortable and so quiet and peaceful. We loved the private hot tub and the grounds are filled with a huge variety of plants and lovely mature trees, the views are beautiful. The villa is perfectly located for the beach and the local area has many nice restaurants and plenty of supermarkets. A real find! We will go back.

Really nice place for a relaxing holiday.

When my friend told me about this place, I made general noises of affirmation but eventually we found some time to check it out. Before we'd even set off the level of professionalism and local knowledge from the owner was very high and they were very responsive. The interior and exterior was superb, the villa was imaculately clean and tidy and overall very comfortable. The hot tub and BBQ area were lovely and the exploration of the local village (Cabanas) revealed many exciting and relaxing venues; we found bars to drink and a good choice of restaurants. I could go on however I would only be robbing you of the opportunity to come and discover the place for yourself.

Beautiful villa and gardens, fantastic setting.

We were so looking forward to this holiday, it was the first time we had rented a villa and it turned out to be truly fantastic. A wonderful experience right from the moment we booked. The owners Mark and Agnes were very welcoming and informative when they met us and took time to show us around their villa and gave us an insight into the local area. It is in an absolutely perfect place, close to restaurants and the beach, only a short walk away and the local supermarket. And yet once you are there you feel like you are in your own little oasis, totally secluded in beautiful well kept gardens and a hot tub. We had exactly what we came for, a very relaxing quiet holiday. Thank you Mark and Agnes, your house is beautiful.
