Room was exactly as shown. Building overall was very busy, but that’s expected during spring break. Beach, pool, and tiki bar were great!

The condo was run down. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was filth. There was a roach in the kitchen. One of be shower doors was broken and placed in one of the closets. There was a makeshift bar to hang your clothes on but it was broken. The master bathroom didn’t have a place to hang your clothes. The door was warped in the 2nd bedroom. The dresser was all scratched up. The bathroom has a piece broken. The host lied about giving a partial refund and would not communicate to address the concerns. He told us we could check out but we couldn’t. We had to pay 3 days for another place to stay.
Roach in kitchen cabinet. It was alive.
Broken shower door is placed in the closet on a towel.
The exhaust fan is disgusting.
Bathroom piece is missing.

They property was in a great location and very well organized. The valet parking was very convenient and affordable. The condo itself was adequate and comfortable aside from a leaking ac unit in the living room. It could use some upgrades as it is an older unit. The beds were comfortable and we all had our own space for my family of 4.

My adult children and I enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and we had everything we needed. Elizabeth was easy to deal with and her instructions were perfect. The resort staff was awesome as well. Definitely recommend

Nice beach, good condo, seeing the age

This is a really nice beach location, and the condo was decent. However, the condo is older. With a minor update to furnishings and interior, it would be very nice.

Exactly as advertised

It is an older property but well maintained. It is right on the beach and walking distance to grocery, bars and restaurants. The washer broke down and Elizabeth had it replaced before we left. Tiki bar was very convenient for food and drinks.

Great stay - awesome location

Great location - right on the beach and about a mile walk to Lauderdale by the Sea restaurants & bars. Easy walk to groceries too. Unit was clean and comfortable - tons of space for our group of four. Appreciated the 2 full sized fridges and 2 bathrooms. The resort could use some updating - the pool area was not great but it was fine. Coffee bar downstairs was so convenient. Spent a ton of time (and money!) at the Tiki Bar.

Beautiful Beach Vacation Spot

We stayed 4 nights and this location was perfect. We were on the beach in minutes and the area was beautiful and perfect for a family. The unit was spacious and in good condition. They do need a new oven/stovetop. One burner didn't work at all and one was very very hot even on the low setting but we made it work. The bathrooms are also dated but we were fine with them. We enjoyed the unit thoroughly.

Room and hotel

Needs new stove if your going to cook one burner works full blast and small burner works only on low the tv in the living room we never got to work but we had tv in the bedrooms so it didn’t bother us the space was great the room was located just off elevators not real updated but was good for our family’s stay the property manager was great gave you all info you needed for parking and check in and out hotel is great Italian food is wonderful great pool and beach location tiki bar is nice

Family get away

The property manager was fantastic and very attentive to our needs and concerns. The unit did need to be updated but was clean. Exterior windows needed to be cleaned-but that is the building responsibility I would assume. (Full disclosure we did see a couple bugs, but the property manager swiftly had pest control come in to spray. ) The beach was wonderful with service from the Tiki Bar. Close proximity to Lauderdale by the Sea. Overall wonderful time.

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the staff here at Ocean manor was awesome! Kam and Elizabeth were also great at responding with helpful info. about the area. The reason I did not give 5 stars is mainly because the place needs some updates/renovations. There were times when we had to wait at least 45 minutes in between flushing the toilet. Even just some new bedding, curtains and pics on the wall would really perk the place up, but that aside I would stay in this building again and we had a great time!

Good Value

Overall we enjoyed our time at the property but, as others mentioned, the unit could be updated and windows better cleaned. One of the chairs broke and so did the towel rack in the master bath. One of the guest beds was also broken, and the toilets were low-flow. We did enjoy the in-unit laundry, the restaurants on-site, valet parking, and the gift shop in the lobby. All in all, a good rental that could use some fixes to make it great.

Upon walking into the rental, we were granted by a musty/mold smell. The rental would be more appropriate for college kids looking for a crash pad for spring break rather than a family trying to escape the northeast cold weather. The hotel was a mix of hotel rooms to rent, vrbo, rental units, and personal owned units. VRBO and rental units were third class citizens advising renters to use parts of the beach to the side. It was no surprise to learn from local residents that both the hotel and tiki bar were featured on rescue shows because they were both in a sorry state. Amenities were an add'tl charge:Use of gym 20, Beach towels (thought to be included) 6 Beach chairs (outside chairs not allowed) 14 *These added significant costs after a 6 night stay. It appears cleaning was skipped from the previous rental after seeing a significant amount of dirt/mold, dust on lightbulbs, and dust in shower fans. There were several interesting aspects to the room as the closet door rather than being repaired shows that someone took an excessive amount of duct tape to fix. Or the 25 vacuum in the unit that we tried to use to vacuum up sand from the beach had been zip tied rather than replaced completely. My texts upon arriving were immediately returned providing us with the code for the door, but unfortunately my texts the next day went unreturned asking about issues with the showers as there was no hot water in one of the showers for the length of the stay.

Elizabeth, property manager, was very responsive. First night the ac in queen room wasn’t putting out air so it was uncomfortable, but she had a repair person out the next day. Place is super dated, especially bathrooms and kitchen. Should be noted that laundry is in the queen room. Listing says there is a balcony and a deck/patio. There is not. It is an enclosed glass room that has a window you can ope. You can view the ocean if you stick your head out and look to the right. The kitchen stove has eyes that don’t work. Cookware should be replaced. Cabinets don’t close well and you can’t open dishwasher if sink cabinet isn’t completely closed. There was also a leak of some sort coming from the utility closet in the living area. We put something there to catch it since there was an HVAC person just there. The bedding in queen room is rough and should be replaced; pillows are also quite flat. Additional fridge, Tiki hut restaurant/bar and Italian restaurant were definite pluses.

Beautiful location, old and very worn condo

The location was great-complex very old but great restaurant, tiki bar and beach. The condo had a very stale odor and was very worn. The condition of the kitchen and bathrooms were terrible. Broken cabinets, counters. Ice maker was completely frozen up. TVs weren’t working when we arrived. The property manager was very responsive and someone came to fix them, However the TV in the family room was never fixed and I never heard back from anyone. The master bed was comfortable. There was nowhere to put toiletries. A little money to update the condo , especially the kitchen and baths would make a world of difference. I do wonder why there was a fridgerator in the family room. Overall, we were very disappointed with the condition of the condo

listing is misleading

for starters place was not cleaned well, pretty sure under the beds have never been swept or mopped. window sills filthy. refrigerator in living room. couldn't sit in dining chairs 3/4 of them were broke. Stove looked like they got it off the street worked like it too. Coffee maker wasn't the one in the picture heating plate was rusted. Cooking utensils were limited, no measuring cups or spoons, no baking sheets at all, had to buy aluminum pans from store to heat anything. No dishcloths, had to buy them too. Washer and dryer wasn't one in the picture either. Laundry room leaked like a sieve. Air conditioner repairman came twice, couldn't fix it therefore we couldn't run the air. The furniture was old and worn and the couch was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. Oh and the pool was so filthy I wouldn't even put my feet in it. I've been renting places in South Florida for the last 15 years and this was the 2nd worst place I've stayed in. It is not a $10480.00 a month condo. I expected better than what I got. Very disappointed which made my vacation totally suck because I was so upset about what I got for my money. VRBO needs to pay attention to what false advertising is going on.

Très vieux et pas propre pour le condo on a dû laver le four et tout le reste de la cuisine et le prix payé très cher ! Porte de douche coincée dans le calcaire pas capable d’utiliser la douche. Propriétaire veut pas arranger Trop de monde sur la piscine manque de serviette et en plus un autobus d’enfant a débarqué quelques fois 🙁 et beaucoup de bruit le soir avec les jeunes adultes en congé du spring break .
