Disappointed in the fact that we had to call "management" every day several times a day EVERY DAY to report that the pool lights did not work, AC went out in the main living area- which never got fixed, sink in downstairs BR was clogged, outdoor flood lights did not work/come on,yellow pool ball (for pool table in game room) was nowhere to be found clothes dryer was broken 2 bedrooms had portable ac units because the main one was broken! I would like a refund.

Big house in great location

The house is in a great location right on the beach. The kitchen is adequate but could use Keurig and a better cooktop. We’ve stayed here 3 years and will likely stay again

The Agents at Port Aransas Escapes were very nice and helpful. The home location next to the beach is great. The home was mostly very clean except for a very dirty mirror in the dining room, some dirty pots and pans in the kitchen cabinets, and a dirty table in the outside porch. The home is spacious with five private bedrooms. The sixth bedroom is open beds included in the game room on the lower floor. The pool is a good size for a large family. The home has some issues that should be addressed to make the stay a perfect 10. There was much trash outside around the home and pool areas from previous guests. we did clean some of this up for our sake. We discovered the pool had hair clumps and two used Band-Aids during our first swim. The debris net for the pool was broken. The pool light for evening swimming did not work. The fence around the pool has remnants of solar lamps that have sharp edges. There are loose tiles around the pool edge. In the house the safety door to the stairs going to the lower floor is broken. In the game room the pool table is in the worst condition, the ping pong table paddles were barely holding together, the foosball table needs fixing of the ball return system. Last issue is: No provided outside grill. A grill left from a previous renter worked out well for us. Mosquitos are very out in evenings. For the price, there should be more focus of these mentioned details. I would stay here again in mid-summer and I would recommend this home to others.

A Perfect Large Group Stay

There is a big kitchen and family room, plus enough beds and bathrooms, with a game room! This place has it all. I don't know of another place like it near Port A. We can't wait to come back.

The house by it self is amazing They could do better on the cleaning,for our luck the bed sheets weren't changed luckily we bought are own and it had a really bad smell when we 1st walked in we had to keep the doors open

Large Groups Book Here!

We had a wonderful time at this beach house! What We Loved: The beach was steps away, making it feel like a private paradise thanks to the direct boardwalk access. The wrap-around porch was our favorite spot. It had ample seating and a table for morning coffee with an ocean view. The open-concept kitchen and living spaces were perfect for our large group, allowing us to cook and play games together comfortably. The teenagers enjoyed playing table tennis and shooting pool downstairs, keeping them entertained for hours! The private pool was fantastic! It was large enough for all of us with plenty of lounge chairs. We had more than enough parking for all of our vehicles. Each family had their own bathroom, giving us plenty of privacy. Areas for Improvement: The two bedrooms on the left side of the house would be better suited with king-sized beds. On our second day, the pool started draining rapidly. It took several calls to property management, thankfully with the issue finally being resolved within hours. Issues with the boardwalk mentioned in previous reviews (7/7/23) remain to date. We recommend adding more rough rubber anti-slip coverings to the Trex planks, as multiple members of our party slipped. The house could benefit from ramps at the bottom of the walkway and from ground level to the second level. Pest Control: Large cockroaches made their evening appearance. Overall, we loved the beach house and we look forward to booking again! Awesome place for large groups!

The view and walk to the beach can’t be beat!

The porch makes a perfect beachhouse! Plenty of chairs inside and out for everyone. It was so easy to walk to the beach. The pool was refreshing after a long day at the beach. We cooked a lot with the oven/stovetop and every time the smoke alarm went off with no smoke in the kitchen. The downstairs bathroom could have been cleaner upon arrival. Definitely bring your own grill. Kitchen has plenty of plates/bowls/silverware etc for a big group. Great, spacious house for a large family or group! Easy access to Port A or CC. Would rent again!

Great Location

The house seemed to have some wear and tear, there were parts of the house that were falling apart but nothing too inconvenient. We loved the location, the pool was a perfect size for littles and teens. The house is super spacious for more than one family to vacation. Overall, we had a great time here and loved being so close to the beach!

The lower level is perfect for the young folk to play pool or ping pong or watch tv when the grownups are getting meals ready upstairs. The private gated boardwalk to the beach is a plus. Unfortunately, it’s very easy to slip on the incline near the end. Wish they had more of the rough rubber anti slip covering for the Trex planks of the walkway. They also ought to replace the ramp at the bottom for those who can’t use the steps. Other suggestions and/or delinquencies from this last visit:*Shortage of spare towels *Poor quality of pool cleaning- only three of 7 days without green algae or slime*Cockroaches were really out of control *Ramp entry for handicapped to second floor. Or an outdoor lift. Our pool complaints were attended to after losing a full 2 days without, but it only lasted a couple of days before it got bad again. No exterminator was sent to rid us of the roaches. Finally bought spray to keep the numbers down in the kitchen. Hopefully the management will address these issues. It’s such a great place and location.

Getting ice everyday was a real hassle and could be solved by having a commercial ice maker. The other thing lacking was beach towels. Both of these were provided in our last rental in Port A. Finally the dumpster was completely full and was not picked up on Friday as showed on sheet.
