CliffTop at Hepburn

These shipping containers are beautifully furnished and have an amazing view from the extensive windows specially from the day bed room which had an interesting glass floor which you could look down and see the cute little creek running by. Chris and I had a wonderful 4 night stay here and enjoyed our walk around Daylesford market and also hopping on the train and visiting a winery. Bed was extremely comfortable which I feel is very important and loved the tv. All in all a very pleasant stay that I would recommend. David and Mani were easy to communicate with and nothing was to much trouble.

Truly Amazing!

Phenomenal accommodation and a place your can relax and just kick back. Views to just sit back and enjoy with the changing light of the day. The area has some great restaurants and attractions and it was an ideal place to explore these from. Will be back for sure to continue the adventure of the region! Thanks to David and the team for looking after us and making us feel welcome during our stay....

Our accommodation was unique. A shipping container turned into a perfect get away for two.

This accommodation caters for a couple who are looking for something different rather than the usual features. Large king size bed, large shower area with mood lighting and different water feature options. Glass floor to ceiling windows to see the beautiful hills and countryside when you wake in the morning. Music and air conditioning on prior to our arrival. Large TV and play station 4. Privacy guaranteed . We loved our two night stay and would not hesitate to return again. Daylesford and Hepburn Springs have plenty to offer all ages.

Perfect location for a peaceful & relaxing Anniversary getaway!

From the moment we walked in the door we felt relaxed. All the comforts we needed were available, the views were soothing and the location is close enough to local restaurants, shops & cafes/restaurants. We would (and already have) thoroughly recommend the property to anyone after a peaceful & relaxing getaway!! Awesome!!

Really nice place

Photos just can’t do this place enough justice. The atmosphere in this super modern, beautifully architectured retreat is second to none. It’s the perfect place to go if you just want to unwind and relax. The daybed area with a glass floor was a personal favourite. I can’t recommend this place enough and just urge anyone thinking about staying here to do them self a favour & book.

What can I say! It was an amazing one night stay at the Venice villa. Everything was perfect! I would highly recommend coming here for a romantic getaway, with David’s attention to detail and little hidden surprises, from the scenic views to the bed (best sleep I’ve had!) you can’t go wrong. Clifftop Venice Villa was one of the most amazing places we ever stayed in. From the easy booking process through to the ease of getting into our Villa for the night, we were constantly delighted with all the special details and little touches. The view from the floor to ceiling windows and glass floor was enough to make us imagine that we were in a truly wild place even though there is a street outside and hotel down the road. The view grabbed us on walking in, and then the massage chair was the next thing to try. Boy oh boy, we might have to invest in one of those.... The decor is tasteful and the automated music, very large TV and ever so comfortable bed made the place just wonderful to be in. Small touches like robes and slippers and chocolate and sparkling wine in the fridge were just perfect to enhance the already romantic mood. Last but for me maybe the very best part was the amazing shower. David and Mani, you have created an amazing space for relaxing.

One of those gems that looks amazing In pictures but actually exceed expectations in the real The high end finishes and practicality of the space were great. I Would definitely visit in winter or summer happily because of the methods of heating and cooling and because of the central location there is plenty to do all year round. P.S the shower and bed were amazing

Cannot recommend this place enough!

Looking at the photos and reading other travellers reviews my partner and I had very high expectations of this space. Every single one of these was well and truly blown out of the water from the moment we arrived at Clifftop. The space made for the perfect getaway. The furnishings were stunning and the attention to detail in every little thing made the experience that much better.

Stunning villa, even more beautiful views

We loved every minute of our stay in the venice villa. Villa was immaculate & furnished beautifully and the look out into the mountain was spectacular. Only minor criticism is that when guests are in the villa below sitting looking out at their view and you are standing on the glass, you directly look at each other through the glass floor. This was a little awkward and had us always checking if they were there before we sat down, but didnt really phase us that much. Otherwise the villa was flawless!

By the time we found the perfect land to build Clifftop and open the doors in 2016 it was too late¿it had already been sold! But that didn¿t stop my wife Mani. We¿d made an offer but never heard back, so she called the vendor and asked why they wouldn¿t be interested in a better offer. It turns out our offer had been lost in the woodwork and we were stunned when the vendor put 209 Main Road back on the market to canvas new offers and sold it to us. Yippee! It truly was an amazing ending to 12 months of searching for the perfect real estate.
