We absolutely adored this cabin on long pond, it was so peaceful and quiet. But it was also close to everything!! We truly enjoyed it and the host thought of everything. We cannot wait to come back!!

Lovely home, on the lake, with a great set up for relaxing in the hot tub, kayaking/canoeing on the lake, or venturing to Acadia/Bar Harbor and surrounding areas. 2nd stay in the home and once again had a wonderful experience.

This was our third visit, and each year is better than the year before! We’ve already booked our vacation on Long Pond, with the three grandkids, for next summer. Can’t offer a better recommendation than THAT!

After going into Bar harbor a couple times, we are soo glad we decided to stay on the “quiet side” of Acadia. We were just 15 minutes from Acadia and pretty marsh was just down the street. It was very quiet and peaceful street. We appreciated the extra towels, newer appliances, cleanliness, patio furniture and the hot tub. We really wanted to go out on the lake but it was a bit chilly when we visited. We would definitely stay again.

This was a wonderful location for families interested in Acadia. It was close to all the activities, and the lake offered early morning fishing and late afternoon swimming. Our entire family of 4 LOVED it!

We had a wonderful stay. We loved the house and private setting. Hot tub was a plus for us. Our week wasn’t very hot for swimming. So it was a good backup plan for the kids.

Our family had a great stay. The house is clean and well appointed. Great location with easy access to Acadia but remote enough to feel secluded and like you are getting away. The kayaks and canoes were a blast to take out with the kids and are in great condition and life jackets are provided (little kids may be a challenge with the life jackets). Kathryn (even while out of the country) and Keith were incredibly responsive and had a repair person out to resolve a minor hot tub issue within hours. After that it worked great and was a perfect end to a long day of hiking in the park. Oold recommend and would definitely return.

Perfect place to stay for our family of 5 while visiting Acadia. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The boys enjoyed the kayaks on the pond. Kitchen was well equipped. Host was responsive and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Always beautiful, peaceful, and an overall perfect natural retreat. We return year after year to this property. Well appointed with all necessities, home and property extremely well maintained, and easy communication with property manager.

We absolutely loved this home! My husband, my two girls and I loved our stay here. It was so peaceful and private. My girls (9,11) enjoyed kayaking and jumping off the dock over and over. The host really thought of everything. The house was well stocked and we loved the cute extra touches like the embroidered “camp” bath towels. The location was perfect! We spent one full day in Acadia and it was an easy drive into the park early for sunrise. We spent another day exploring the Southwest Harbor, which was such an adorable town. We loved the used book sale we came across and Vacationland Coffee shop. Get the blueberry biscuits!
