A quaint attached cottage, great location.

A quaint attached cottage situated in a great location. Accommodation very clean and tidy, might be a bit cramped for 4 in the lounge. Would stay again.

Lovely Cottage

This cottage is well presented, with everything we needed and more. Great location, everything was as advertised. The little courtyard was lovely and much appreciated by my little dog. A wonderful house for 2 guests. Thanks Mark and Kate.

We absolutely loved staying here! Came up to Bendigo from Melbourne for a calisthenics competition at Ulumbarra theatre, 2 min walk! Owners thought of everything we possibly needed. Fabulous bath with bath salt. Will book for many years to come!

Very cosy, clean and comfortable.

We spent two nights at this property. Enjoyed the spa and the generous soft bath towels. Bed was very comfortable. Everything we needed was available. Close to everything. Gas log fire was also a treat.

Best bnb ever

This little 2BR workers cottage was delightful in every way and perfect for our needs, especially being pet friendly. Beautifully refurbished, tastefully blending elements of Victorian and comforts of the 21st century, nothing was lacking for our comfort and needs. The welcoming "treats" and other thoughtful perishable items were gratefully appreciated, and dealing with the owners was pleasant and efficient. Wouldn't hesitate to choose 112 Barnard St next time we require an overnight stay in Bendigo.

Charming Cottage

Mark and Kate's Cottage is beautifully renovated. Parking and access from Rosalind St is through a quiet lane. Beds are very comfortable and appreciated breakfast provisions. Took advantage of current meal voucher at nearby hotel. Impressed by their commitment to environmentally friendly bathroom and cleaning products. Lovely courtyard and we would book again in future.

Perfect stay for a little family

Well presented, quant property. Great functionality, equipped with full functioning kitchen and coffee machine, portocot, high chair, books and board games, split system in all spaces and onsite parking. The spa bath was a hit with our baby. Short stroll to View Street’s cafes and boutiques and to Rosalind Park.

Wonderful location in a lovely little cottage

Located almost in town, we had a easy walk in for dinner and a stroll on the park. Accomodation had everything we needed, fully functional kitchen, nice lounge with fire. Only able to stay one night, we were so busy rushing about and doing huge drives across the state, we didn't notice all the emails Mark and Kate sent with helpful information on car park etc. Sorry about that, hope we left the keys in the right place! Really enjoyed our stay and thank you!

Compact clean house

Compact, modernised and clean house with great amenities. Smaller than appears online. Needs a proper sit down table and chairs rather than a high table with bar stools. Parking is problematic.

Hi Julie, Thanks for your comments. There is dedicated off-street parking directly behind the cottage. The cottage is located close to town and the hospital, street parking can be difficult to find during work hours at other times there is generally no problem. Cheers Mark

Very enjoyable stay

Mark and Kate's is a very well presented property with the needs of guests thoughtfully anticipated and provided to an excellent level, making our stay very comfortable and very enjoyable. Great location opposite the park and a short walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We were really delighted with the property. It was a treat to stay there for a leisurely country town break.

Highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is spotless, stylish, comfortable and in a great location. The secure courtyard is perfect to leave your pup if you need to head out without them, but there's really no need with lots of park space and eateries in walking distance. Public outdoor pool is also just over the road. The cottage has everything you need, with a well provisioned kitchen including fresh eggs from the owners property, who provided excellent communication throughout our stay. Cannot recommend this property enough if you're looking for a break in the beautiful regional city of Bendigo.

Great location and charming place to stay

Location is 10/10, nearby are plenty of places to get coffee and food, close to beautiful park, very enjoyable if you are staying with your pets. Accomodation it self is very charming, loved fire place and little garden.

A+++ Highly recommend if you are staying in Bendigo

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights with our minature schnauzer and schnoodle and found this beautifully renovated home a great place to stay. It was left extremely clean and we really appreciated the little touches like milk, bread, eggs and butter in the fridge- you can just sense the owners want guests to have an enjoyable stay and do their best for them! Location wise was just a short stroll to Rosalind Park and the city centre. Communication with Mark and Kate was great and they were even kind enough to recommend some places for us to go. Looking forward to coming and staying here again. Thank you Mark and Kate for being fantastic hosts!

Delightful little property

Beautifully presented quaint little cottage with a lovely big bathroom. Stayz initially undercharged $30 for the booking which was not the fault of the property owner. Good communication with the property owner re this issue.

Location to city centre was very good.

Great cottage!

Loved this cottage for our stay! Great location right in town. Great courtyard in the back & dedicated parking spot behind. Everything provided and very comfortable. Good to be able to go away with our 2 whippets. Would definitely stay again!
