Family vacation

The experience was awesome, KBM resorts were amazing from the great service, to the luxury room and pools, not to mention the beach at walking distance. My family and I enjoyed every minute, It was a great experience of a life time since this was our very first vacation ever and it exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend KBM resorts, our family will be coming back soon!

Maui Adventure

We come to Honua Kai Resort on Maui every year and could not be more pleased with Maria and her staff. They are always professional, helpful and quick to respond to questions. A great family resort!

A very pleasant , quiet location with a nice ocean view. The resort staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool water temperature was a little too warm. A great family resort. Great beach for snorkelling, boarding, and swimming.

We loved our stay HKH 318. The view sitting on the balcony was lovely. We watched a couple common miners. Feed their Young and a nest outside in the tree. The bathroom was humongous. The bed was very comfortable.

Clean, updated unit in north kaanapali

We loved this unit at the Honua Kai. The room was really clean and had everything we needed, including beach chairs and boogie boards. The room was modern and featured a nice balcony, where I worked in the mornings. The management company was very responsive to our needs. Nice location on the quieter north side of Kaanapali.

Great family accommodations

This condo was very well situated to have a relaxing vacation for a family with young kids. Great value for the price, and we would repeat the trip in a heartbeat! Plenty of room for two adults and two small kids. Kitchen was supplied with most everything we needed. Really appreciated the amenities for kids (pack-n-play, booster seat, sand toys) and the beach equipment. Perfect set up with the pool and beach just a few minutes' walk away. Beach was not the absolute mildest for littles, but a good middle ground with some small reef for snorkeling, plenty of nice sand and a little bit of surf for boogie boards but nothing dangerous. Also groceries and restaurants conveniently nearby. We loved having our free rental car available but went days without using it as it was easy to entertain ourselves onsite.

Pristine!

This is a pristine unit!! Brand new Bosh washer and dryer that performed wonderfully. When we went to use the Tommy Bahama umbrella it was damaged by a former tenant and KBM replaced it immediately with a brand new one!! Very quick response! We?ll definitely stay with KBM again with no hesitation

Wonderful resort and condo

We LOVED the Honua Kai Resort and the room was perfect for our family. The sofa bed was extremely comfortable!! The only two issues we had were 1) the dryer is not very effective. Don’t even think about trying to dry towels or sheets in it. Thankfully, the rental company was happy to replenish both of these items whenever we needed it. However, you really need to stay on top of clothes drying so they don’t sit damp for too long. Which brings me to my second point. 2) there is a strong smell of smoke in the room. It seemed strongest right near the washer and dryer.

Aloha, We are so happy you had a fabulous stay. Upon your departure our engineering team discovered the motor on the dryer was at its end-of-life and causing ineffective drying as well as a faint motor smell. Great news is we replaced the entire dryer and it is working perfect for your next visit! Mahalo, KBM Hawii

The condo was very clean and comfortable

My husband and I stayed for a week in one of your Honua Kai Resort condos in May. Our stay was wonderful. The service from the time we booked with KBM to the time we left was excellent. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals and do our laundry before leaving for our next island. It was so nice to have beach equipment to utilize. The location was also excellent. We enjoyed so many different parts of Maui. I will definitely recommend this rental as a great place to stay.

Best property on Maui

This property is by far one of the best to rent on the west side of Maui. The resort is beautiful and right on the ocean. The room was clean and spacious and had all the necessities needed for a great beach or pool day. Duke’s restaurant is hands down a favorite of ours for food and beverages. We hope to be able to stay at this property again in the future!!!

Lovely time

I really enjoyed this rental unit. My husband and our two kids stayed here and we found it fit all our needs. There was definitely some wear and tear on the outdoor furniture and the refrigerator wouldn’t close unless you slammed it just right lol. We also had issues with the TV- the guide is wrong. Fire alarm went off to the whole building one night and really messed up my last night sleep. Other than the little issues and the resort being kinda overrated since it’s almost too crowded in the pools- we would most likely stay here again. The view from the Lanai was amazing and my favorite part! Hotel staff and check-in/ bellman was wonderful. Parking was very easy!

Overall great!

Honua Kai is a great property and we’ve stayed before (though with a different property management company). The condo is very nice with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, living room, etc. Communication with the property management could be improved. They were not very responsive leading up to the trip via email or through the VRBO app nor while we were there (issue with the TV). I would recommend they provide a number that you can text.

Great Location, nice property

We had a great time staying here. The condo was spacious and clean with a nice partial ocean view from the balcony. The condo had beach chairs, umbrella and coolers for our use that was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic for spending time at the beach and a short drive to Lahaina - we would stay here again.
