Little Bay Cottage - Arakoon, Nueva Gales del Sur

Una linda cabaña de dos dormitorios escondida en el lado izquierdo al final de una calle sin salida ubicada en la periferia del área de picnic de Little Bay. Con la playa de Little Bay prácticamente en la puerta de atrás y Trial Bay Gaol, Laggers Point y el Parque Nacional a solo unos minutos.

Esta cabaña ha sido recientemente renovada y cuenta con una cocina abierta, comedor, salón que se extiende a través de puertas de vidrio hacia el área de la cubierta. Relájese en la terraza con los muebles de exterior mientras prepara su cena en la barbacoa de gas.

Dos habitaciones, la principal con una cama queen y la segunda habitación con un conjunto de literas y un nido.

Baño con inodoro separado.

La lavandería se encuentra abajo con lavadora y secadora.

Ubicado en la posición perfecta para hacer una corta caminata por el promontorio.

Ya sea que le guste pescar, nadar o disfrutar un poco de historia en Trial Bay Gaol, este es un gran lugar para escapar durante el fin de semana.

Little Bay es una playa aislada ubicada entre acantilados de granito, justo al sur del promontorio cerca de Trial Bay Gaol en el Parque Nacional Arakoon. Empaca tu equipo de pesca por un día en la playa.

From the moment we arrived at Little Bay Cottage, we felt right at home. A helpful tip for future guests: if you’re arriving in a larger car, we recommend reversing up East Street and into the driveway — we did this from day one and it made coming and going incredibly easy. The cottage itself is set in a truly magical spot. One morning, we were lucky enough to spot a koala lounging in a tree just off the back verandah — right on the property! Kangaroos regularly visited nearby, kookaburras provided a classic Aussie soundtrack, and a walk along the Little Bay Beach bush track even treated us to dolphin sightings. Inside, the cottage is all about slowing down and soaking in the moment. We loved unwinding with books from the shelf, watching DVDs, tuning in to free-to-air TV, and spending time together with the games and puzzles provided. Everything was clean, comfy, and well set up — from the beds and bathroom to the lounge and kitchen. The shower head, which was mentioned in a previous review, looked brand new to us and worked perfectly. The BBQ was easy to use, and the kitchen had everything we needed for relaxed meals. There’s a small patch of internet reception on the far side of the double bed — just enough to look up your next adventure. But honestly, this is the kind of place where you’ll want to disconnect. And don’t miss Little Bay Beach at sunrise — it’s pure magic. If we could buy this place and keep it forever, we would!

Overall a great stay. Be aware that you need linen, towels, bath mats, tea towels. Absolutely no supplies like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper.. bring everything and you'll be fine.

It's a basic but comfirtable cottage and the location is great, just a 5 minute walk to Littel Bay Beach and the headland walks and it is only a few minutes drive to town. The only complaint is the bad smell from the toilet, of urine, which we don;t think was cleaned prior to our arrival. Not ideal but otherwise we had a great stay.

Nestled in Nature

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just experienced our best Christmas holiday ever. This is the perfect location! Nestled in nature with Koalas in the trees, Kangaroos on the grass and only a 3 minute walk to Little Bay Beach and bush walking tracks - this place is beautiful. The accommodation is quaint, comfortable and clean. There is a constant cool coastal breeze that cooled the house and kept it comfortable, there were also fans if required. Arakoon is just a short drive (or a comfortable walk) from south west rocks restaurants and shopping precinct. It is away from the hustle and bustle of this tourist town. The beautiful Trial bay is just around the corner, accessed by car or beautiful short bush walks. There is so much to do and enjoy in this region... I will definitely be back and would stay again at Little Bay Cottage, it was ideal for me and my two girls and our love of nature and the outdoors.

As advertised. Basic but functional with surprisingly well stocked kitchen utensils. Some ambient lighting in living area wouldn’t go astray i.e. a lamp or two.
