Stillwater1028 es un lugar perfecto para aquellas familias que buscan tener fácil acceso a la base de Lone Peak para esquiar, hacer snowboard o hacer senderismo. Además, para aquellas personas que visitan Big Sky para una convención y están buscando un condominio que esté convenientemente ubicado en relación con el Shoshone (Centro de Convenciones de Yellowstone), no busque más. Stillwater 1028 está al otro lado de la carretera de los Shoshone. Después de un largo día de actividades invernales, puede relajarse en este espacioso condominio de 1 dormitorio y loft. Ubicada en el pueblo de montaña de Big Sky, esta unidad ofrece espectaculares vistas de la montaña Andesite, Spanish Peak y un arroyo de balbuceo a las afueras de la puerta trasera.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king-size con baño completo de cuatro piezas. La escalera de caracol lo llevará a un dormitorio tipo loft con dos camas dobles y un baño completo con ducha. La unidad duerme cómodamente de seis a siete adultos con un cómodo sofá grande en la sala de estar.

Location

We heard the location was fantastic, that was correct. Three minute walk to the base lodge, Had two little boys and walked three minutes down the hill to the lake. Rented kayaks, and hang out there a fair amount.Maybe you’ll have to come back and stay in the winter, such a quick walk to the base. I recommended.

Perfect ski condo

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Condo was so comfortable, clean and perfect location. Quiet and comfortable beds. Kitchen great for cooking, plenty of space for family of 4. Easy access to ski locker and laundry. Bills recs for restaurants were incredible! 3 min walk to base made it the best rental location in Big Sky! We will be back!!!

Great condo in a great location

We loved this unit!! The location was great and made it easy to walk back each day for lunch while skiing. The unit was nice and cozy and had everything you need! I am short and missed the spice cabinet above the microwave the first few days - luckily someone else was able to discover it! There have been a few nice updates since the photos, new very comfy couch, TV, and really nice shelving above the coffee bar. All the details were well thought out and we appreciated it all so much! We loved Big Sky and we really loved this unit!

Ski week

Great location-convenient to the lifts and mountain village. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for cooking our meals. The fire place was a great feature to use every day after skiing! Bill was an extremely responsive host. In short we loved our stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Bill’s place. The condo was perfect for our group of four. The place is nicely decorated and nicely equipped. And, Bill was great about communicating with us.

Awesome condo in an ideal location

This condo truly is a VERY short walk to the ski lifts at the base of the mountain. Not quite ski in/out, but close! Condo is clean, with comfortable beds, a well-appointed kitchen, and a wood-burning fireplace which was especially key after a long day skiing. Perfect for the 3 of us (a couple and one other adult), as the upstairs bedroom is a loft and open to the downstairs area. Responsive owner. 5 stars!

Great Location

This was our first time at Big Sky, and was not sure exactly how close we would be to the slopes. Yet, this was a great location, and Bill was very helpful with any questions I had. The only downfall, was that there is only 1 washer and dryer for all of the units, and people were not considerate in moving their laundry within a courteous time frame, but we would stay here again. It fit our family of 4 perfectly.

Spring skiing

Condo was as described. We enjoyed our stay. Was close to the village to catch buses and visit the restaurants and shops after skiing. The condo was well stocked.

Fantastic location

What a treat! Been wanting to come ski Big Sky for years now and it did not disappoint. The condo was great - cozy, well appointed, and the location was perfect. Bill is a wonderful host. Already looking forward to returning next year!

Perfect Ski Location!

Really awesome place! I can't say enough good things about the location and space. You could easily fit a family or a few couples. Communications were great - especially trying to find the condo since it's not accurate on Google! The host made sure we had everything we needed and didn't get lost!

Ski trip in Big Sky

This is the second time staying at this property and it was again a wonderful experience. The condo is cozy, inviting with excellent amenities and a great location. Bill was an exceptional host. I am looking forward to staying again.

Great Time... Perfect Condo... Excellent Host

My family stayed here over Christmas/New Years week and had a great time. We rented a car in Bozeman made it easy to get to and from airport and down to the town (about 10-15 minute drive) for supplies. Skiing: We were lucky that is snowed about 20 inches the day before we arrive. While the conditions in many places were listed as "early season", there were also plenty of groomed well maintained trails. We skied 106,000 vertical feet on about 100 different trails, including the Liberty Bowl which they opened while we were visiting. Right outside the condo door is a ski locker, which was very convenient. Food: We ate in most of the trip. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are several grocery stores that have good inventory and decent butchers. There is a deli/convenience store within a few minuets walk for last minute items/drinks. We ordered pizza from the bakery down in the town, which was great, and went to the River House Tavern for Mesquite BBQ which was awesome. The condo is close enough to the lifts to leave your skis on the rack and walk home for lunch. Condo: Set up was great for 2 teenage kids. There are 2 full size beds in the loft with a bathroom and a queen in the bedroom on the first floor. The kitchen and baths have recently been redone. The fireplace is great. We lit up a fire every day after skiing. Host: Bill was awesome. Available by text throughout the trip and full of great information. We highly recommend this condo.

Fantastic location at Big Sky resort

We stayed with our 17 year old twins for ski trip the week after New Years. We loved that everyone was able to walk to / from the slopes on their own schedule. We used the ski valet to make it even more convenient (did not have to carry our skis back and forth each day), but carrying the skis is certainly doable. In terms of the home, it was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The small kitchen was very well outfitted with pots, knives, and kitchen consumables - better than most VRBOs. Bill gave us great instructions on managing the temperature, so we were all comfortable. There is a nice selection of games, a bluetooth speaker, and a great TV. The kids slept like logs, so the beds in the loft must have been comfortable. Our only small complaints: the house was not ready at the appointed time (we waited about 75 minutes on New Years Day - probably an anomaly), the baseboard heater in the master bedroom regularly makes a tapping noise, and the master bed is fairly squeaky, though totally comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, these noises may be more annoying to you than they were to us. Highly recommend the place and hope to stay there again. Thanks, Bill!

Great place for enjoying Big Sky

Great place to stay in Big Sky for our family of four. The location is excellent for walking to to Big Sky resort - everyone was able to come and go as they pleased. It was a relaxing place to rest, recharge and refuel between all the different activities that the Big Sky area offers. Communication with Bill was easy and helpful.

Wonderful place for attending a conference at Big Sky!

We enjoyed the time a lot - it was a very short walk to the conference center at Big Sky resort while giving us the option of preparing meals instead of eating out every meal. The views and weather were lovely! This is a great place to come for skiing also. We would definitely rent here again if we return to Big Sky.

Amazing location!

Everything we needed for our ski/snowboard trip. The location was phenomenal. It was a quick, easy, 5 minute walk to the lifts. Views are pictured in the listing, but they are so WOW in person! We rented a car and drove from Bozeman Airport. Parking was easy at the condo. The condo is clean, beds are comfy and bathrooms look newly remodeled. Owners provided great info prior to our trip. We didn't cook (not our favorite thing to do on vacation), but we walked to the restaurants at the hotel & base (make reservations!). It was well lit and easy to walk, even when it was snowy. Loved this place for a Big Sky ski trip!

Big Sky 2023 Family Ski Trip

The owner was extremely responsive to the one minor issue we had upon arriving. He corrected the situation within an hour. The condo is very conveniently located to the base of the mountain. I would recommend splurging for the ski valet so you aren't lugging skies up and down every morning and afternoon. Other then that, couldn't ask for a more comfortable and convenient condo for our family of four.

Three generation ski trip

We skied for three days. The location is great for skiing. We enjoyed coming back to the condo, lighting a fire in the fireplace and cooking a meal together. A very nice view of the mountain too.

We are a Minnesota family that enjoys the outdoors. I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, while my wife grew up just outside of Toronto. We met in Dallas in 1988. We have two children and our goldendoodle Webster.

Skiing has been a part of our family's life for many years. We skied a variety of destination in the Rockies. In 2004 we took our first ski trip to Big Sky; six months later bought Stillwater 1028. We have grown as a family, developed and found new friendships with every trip to Stillwater 1028.

Stillwater 1028 has blessed us with the people we have met through our rentals. We have developed friends that live as close as 1/2 hour of our home in MN, and as far away as Germany. The relationships made are one of the many perks of owning this place.

When we were looking for a condo, I asked that we find a place where we will have views that will constantly remind us that we are in the most beautiful place in North America. When you travel long distances to go skiing, seeing the mountains every waking hour is extremely important; Andesite and Wilson Peaks are impossible to avoid while staying in this condo. This is truly our Heaven on Earth.
