Nice property but needs some updates

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it is OK experience but we encountered some issues:Positives: 1. Close to mammoth ski area about 15 mins walk. This would be Ok if you doin't have to carry gear. 2. Clean and the kitchen area had all necessary utensils. 3. Garage parking was very convenient and reservedIssues: 1. Incorrect information about our building. Our apt was in Bldg 2. It said #7 on the card. We had to check several buildings in cold weather before we got to the right place. 2. Hot water would stop coming after 1-2 folks would take shower. 3. Dishwasher was broke and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. There was warning that drainage was not working. We had to hand wash as much dishes as possible. There was also no dishwasher detergent. On our second day we were able to clean the drain and dishwasher worked for one cycle but it needs to be checked.

Nice roomy condo near canyon lodge

Check in process was delayed by 1 1/2 hours due to lack of workers. Place is located right in Lakeview which is a straight shot up to canyon lodge. It’s still quite a walk given that it’s uphill but can be done. If you’re carrying all your ski/snowboard gear then I would just recommend you drive or store all your gear in a locker at canyon lodge. Place is slightly dated and still uses actual keys. The lay out is roomy and had room for 6. Kitchen was slightly limited but there were condiments/seasonings that were left from previous tenants. There was no dishwasher detergent in the unit so had to run over to the office to pick up. Would only dispense 4 packs as we were there for only 4 more days so I foresee this happening to the next tenant. Overall, great unit for the price.

Comfortable for 5 adults, we loved that the den had a partition for privacy, the reading nook by the window was lovely and the kitchen was well furnished. Note the place does get quite warm with the heating system but was okay once we figured out how to control and even had to open the windows a bit.

Reviewer Comments: Den#17 was cozy, well-stocked, Great for three couples/good beds, (we could have provided sleeping arrangements for children,) Mst.bdrm nice size...lots of wood for the fireplace, we used it a lot. Loved the window seat, oven, extra condiments in refrig., Nice kitchen, very homey. Took some time figuring out the temp control, esp. for sleeping, and the TV (no access to Netflix, Amazon...) never got it to work... enjoyed the CDs and music....Management wouldn't let us park an extra vehicle in the garage even though it was basically empty. But overall, it was a great stay.

The condo was in a great location both near the slopes and the village. We had more than enough room for the four of use in the unit we rented. We would do this again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful and spacious! Loved it!

Plenty of space, and a very well appointed kitchen. Appreciated the humidifier and all the nice touches throughout. Would not hesitate to stay there again!

Spacious, Clean, Decent Location, Comfortable

Had a great time here and was perfect for a larger group. Close totem pickup. Walking up hill to Canyon Lodge is doable but a pain. Easier to take tram to Village and take the Gondola up to Canyon. I would stay here again. Great experience. Firewood was provided as well : ) Felt in good hands with our stay.

Spacious. Very well maintained. Exactly as advertised.

The house was exactly as advertised. It was pretty clean. The property is very close to canyon lodge and a very short drive (about 4 miles) from the main lodge. Very convenient location. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thank you.

Nice, clean and great location

The cabin was in a nice location and very close to canyon lodge and shops. The cabin was very nice and clean. The only thing I would complain is a few broken chairs and a window in one of the bedroom that I hope will be replaced soon otherwise I will recommend this place to all and will definitely go there the next time around.

Great location - perfect for our group!

We stayed here over the New Year's holiday and really enjoyed our visit! The condo is in a great location with easy access to the shuttles and is walkable to the Village and Canyon Lodge (although the walk up can be a little challenging if there's ice/snow on the road). We noticed that the owners have also remodeled since some of the photos on the listing were taken. Also the water pressure in the showers is awesome! We did run into a couple of issues with the communal hot tub not getting warm - the trick is to check if the breaker has been tripped. Overall, great place - we'd definitely stay here again.
