Paco was there to meet us and explain all about the apartment and area showing us were best beaches restraints and places to visit On the day we were leaving we followed him to airport and he then gave us a lift to the cruise terminal Can highly recommend this apartment We do advise a car rental to get around the island

Super clean, spacious apartment near the museum of Tahiti. Well equipped. Exceptional hosts. Bank and supermarket 15 min walk. Realistically you need a hire car to travel to Papeete and around the island.

Great host. Great apartment

Very pleasant stay. Host even picked us up at airport and dropped us at Cruise terminal. Unit is opposite Museum of Tahiti and short walk to beach and Sofitel hotel. Recommend hiring car or bikes if touring, as town is 15km. Overall a great experience

Paco was very friendly and picked me up from the airport and drop me off. The place was as advertised and the AC in the room worked well. Nice location next to the beach and the museum. The only problem staying this far from town is taxis are expensive! (35 american to go to the apt from down town). More if you are leaving from the apt. I would stay there again, but I would rent a car! Thank you, Paco!

Tahitian adventure

Nice condo, easy to get to, secure parking. Great for our short 4 night stay. Hosts went above and beyond met us at the airport at 10pm on sunday night so we could follow them to the condo. Gave us a good tour of the place.For checkout met me at the airport when i returned my rent a car. Then gave me a ride to my cruise ship. All in all nice stay very nice hosts. Excellent suggestions from them Moana Te for sunset cocktails and Blue Banana for dinner

Apartment is inside a gated property. Could not get the oven to work correctly. It' the age of the appliance.Traffic is not to desire. This area does have rush hour traffic.

The apartment is in a very quiet gated area. Within 10 minutes walking you can be by the shore or into town. The grocery store and bakery served us well. It is a 10 minute drive to Vaiava Beach, a BEAUTIFUL beach with incredible snorkeling to explore the coral and see so many different colorful fish. It was a perfect spot to anchor our week long stay in Tahiti. Paco, as so many others have said, is the perfect gracious and helpful host. You will not be sorry you booked this!!

Meilleur endroit à Puna'auia

Ne chercher pas ailleurs! Endroit très sécuritaire et propre. Nous avons considéré d'autres endroits très près mais nous ne nous sentions pas en sécurité en raison des chiens et des petites rues en terre. C'est à moins de 10 minutes de marche d'une belle et grande épicerie, d'une boulangerie et des restos. A 5 minutes en taxi de la magnifique plage de Vaiava. Mais c'est l'accueil très chaleureux de François (Paco) à l'aéroport, ses conseils et sa très grande gentillesse de nous apporter au ferry qui ont fait notre séjour des plus merveilleux!

Perfect For Us

We had a 3 day stay and the apartment and location was perfect for us. We had a rental car which made it easy for us to do 2 excellent excursions and we had some very nice meals close by. What we will remember most about our stay here will be our host, Paco. We've stayed at a lot of properties in a lot of places and we've had several great hosts, but Paco is the "host with the most". Everything we needed he was ready, willing and eager to help out. Without his help and guidance instead of a very smooth, comfortable stay we would have had chaos. He was just great.

Excellent Punaauia vacation home.

The vacation rental is a nice 1br/1ba apartment with a full kitchen. A black sand beach which can experience pretty strong waves is in walking distance. Two calm, white sand beach parks are a couple of minutes away by car. It's a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Papeete. And I can't recommend the host enough. I arrived on Christmas evening and left very early on New Year's Day, and the host was there in person to welcome me and see me off, despite the holiday or hour of the day.

Perfect for a long stay

What it is: A nice apartment across from the museum, great hosts, AC in the bedroom. You will need a car. What it isn’t: A luxury waterfront property with a great beach and view. Alice met us at ygg he e airport and escorted us to the apartment. She showed us where everything is, and where to find nearby restaurants and markets. We used it as a base to explore Tahiti and Moorea from for 5 days before continuing our 5 weeks of island hopping. It was perfect for that.

Wonderful stay in Punaauia

I was very happy to stay in Paco's apartment for about four weeks while in Tahiti for work! It's at a great location on the island, about 15 minutes from the Papeete airport, steps across the street from the Museum, and close to beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is very easy to travel to and from this apartment with plenty of room for parking. I felt safe staying here in the gated complex and in a nice part of town. Paco was so kind and made my stay a great one! I highly recommend this apartment if you're looking for a fantastic experience in Tahiti.

A perfect, quiet place in Tahiti

It was such a nice and quiet place on the island of Tahiti. Moana was delightful and very accommodating in everything. He even picked us up at the airport at 5:00 am which made our trip so much easier. He is very friendly. The condo was a great location for everything we wanted to do in Tahiti and there was a great park on the beach for amazing sunset views. You will not be disappointed!

Great value. Good location

Paco was so accommodating. Even though we had a rental car, even met us at airport. Even gave us each a lei. Unit was very clean. Unfortunately, our cruise was cancelled so we left early to fly back to the states. But we did get to experience a few days of Tahiti

BEST VRBO/Airbnb Experience!

Booking and initial communication with Paco was super easy. We rented a car and Paco insisted on meeting us at the airport to lead us to the VRBO... super grateful for that as it would be tricky to find the place at night. He had the place stocked with condiments, coffee, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, and even an additional outlet converter! The community is gated, friendly neighbors and the pool was great! Super close to the market, quick walk to the beach and easy access to the main roadway around the island. Overall highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something other than a resort! Paco is an excellent host and had many recommendations on what to do. Check out was seamless as well... he even allowed a later check out as our flight was in the late evening. Definitely would give 11/10 stars if I could!

Perfect Property & Host

We know a thing or two about vacation rentals. My wife & I hosted guests from around the world for almost 20 years. The apartment building(s) were quiet, serene, with a nice mix of friendly, old/young(keep to themselves) residents. The whole complex is safe & secure. The apartment, itself, is very lovely with all the unique, tasteful decor. Everything is in good, working order & the property is well supplied. We liked being on the 2nd level and had no problem with access to & fro. My wife uses a walker/wheelchair combo device. We really liked being away from too much hustle & bustle in Papeete. Sofitel is very close and open to public. Listen to all the highly commendable reviews. The website is "true to form" in all aspects. All this at such a reasonable rate are good points to seriously consider a stay. But, the most important impression we came away with after our nine nights, was Paco's conscientous attention when we needed him. He just inherently feels a strong duty & obligation to help make his clients' stay perfect. I feel very lucky that the apartment was available and we were also beneficiaries of Paco's kindness. Pick up/Drop off at the airport/ferry, first grocery shop, and help obtaining auto rental was a big savings and ultimate personal touch. Thanks Paco.

Great home base for exploring Tahiti and the islands

The apartment was spotless and had everything I needed for a three-week stay. Full kitchen, tv, a/c in the bedroom, balcony. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The owners were very kind and helpful in all things. There is a museum just across the street; it is delightful with beautiful gardens and places to sit and watch the ocean. I went to the gardens often and sat on the rocks to watch the waves come in and look for whales, all the while seeing Moorea right across the bay. I left the apartment several days to travel to other islands. The ferry to Moorea is just downtown and the airport is even closer. It is about a 10 minute drive downtown depending on time of day. I did need a rental car to see the island and to go downtown. Within walking distance was a small but nice beach, a grocery store and a shopping center with everything I needed. By walking distance, I mean about 10 minutes. This place was just right for me. I was a tourist sometimes and at other times I just relaxed and hung out by the pool.

Accueil chaleureux et sympathique dès l’aeroport Malgré l’arrivée tardive. L’appartement est parfait pour 2 personnes (fonctionnel, propre) La localisation est bonne aussi, un supermarché, roulotte, boulangerie à 5-10min à pied et des restaurants et autres roulotte à 5-10min en voiture. Cozy apartment very near to the beach

There's a short cut to the beach which is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The beach is beautiful with many fishes. A big supermarket is also about 5 minutes walk and you can find almost everything in there. Sofitel is right beside the supermarket so you can go and see how it does look like. The apartment is really lovely which has all you need for a long stay. The host even provided us the first night food kit for free. The host couple is very nice and kind. They tried to meet all our need for our comfortable stay. Another good thing is that there's no ants or cockroach as the apartment is very clean. The swimming pool is well maintained which we liked very much. The speed of the free internet was also satisfactory. The free pick up & sending from and to the airport was also a big bonus. I will definitely choose that apartment again if I go back to Papetee.

L'appartement est parfait, la résidence très agréable

Logement calme, vue sur un beau jardin. Les plages sont proches. la plus proche, celle su Sofitel (plage publique) est à cinq minutes à pied. Les suivantes sont aussi très agréables et bien aménagées et il y a beaucoup à voir sous l'eau ! L'accueil à l'aéroport par les propriétaires était très appréciable et nous a enlevé tout souci. Pour la visite de Tahiti, dommage qu'en cette saison beaucoup de choses soient fermée (musée Gauguin, musée de Tahiti et des îles) mais nous avons fait tout le tour de l'île et admiré ses plus beaux panoramas, cascades et jardins.
