Awesome place to stay, near numerous walking trails and Historic Folsom district within walking distance.Kitchen has everything you need for cooking, the property is well furnished for a comfortable stay. Outside patio has a nice table for gatherings your own BBQ and a nice private space for your dog. Great location!

This apartment was so comfortable and functional. It was close to everything fun; historic Folsom, light rail to Sacramento, easy shopping on Bidwell St. , great dog walking on the Johnny Cash Trail. Had no problem cooking in the fully equipped kitchen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Folsom in this cute rental. We were able to stay with our little dog and they even had a fenced in area off of the deck for his potty breaks. This place is clean with cute decorating. All you need for cooking and a very nice washer and dryer. Comfy king bed. Walking distance to Old Folsom. Maureen is great and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Lovely Sutter Cottage

Had a great stay! The cottage is fully equipped, cozy and roomy! Maureen, the host was very communicative and easy to get ahold of. Location is also great for enjoying Sutter St. and Historic Folsom.

Simply Outstanding

What a great little place to stay. Very good management very well appointed one bedroom one bath, with the kitchen and everything you need to use it…but the best part is it’s Location, and that I would have to say is outstanding ! A block from downtown old Folsom and the American River powerhouse museum yet dead quiet all day and all night…We will be back..!

We loved our week at the cottage. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything needed to be “at home” while away from home, including a very comfortable bed. Also, the location is quiet and an easy short walk to the charming town.

Place was perfect, even better then expected. Not only is it in the best location for spending any time in Folsom the place was perfectly prepared and Maureen is a top notch host. Plan on staying there again on my next trip to the area.

Great town location, great hosts

Our hosts went above and beyond for us - topping off a lovely 3 night stay in their ADU apartment. Several times the hosts swept in and saved us - once we needed duct tape and another time we asked them to mail something we forgot. The apartment is nicely appointed and so so close to "old downtown Folsom!"

Cute Cottage in Historic Folsom

Perfect cottage, great get away! Our week stay could not of been better. The owners did an incredible job of providing everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck and the beautiful setting. Cozy and quiet location was perfect for walking to downtown Historic Folsom. We can not wait to go back!

Wonderful Property within Walking Distance to Old Town Folsom

We extremely enjoyed our stay. The property was wonderfully located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to old town Folsom where we enjoyed eating at several yummy pubs and restaurants. We enjoyed long walks around the lake and visited the local zoo. The property was very nicely updated and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend and plan to stay here again when I come back to Folsom.

Quite retreat in old town Folsom

We recently stayed at this beautiful cottage with our 2 dogs. There are lots of trails and the bike trail close by along with parks within walking distance. The cottage was very clean and has updated new fixtures and furnishings. It was great to be within walking distance to great restaurants too! Really enjoyed our stay.

Historic Folsom Getaway

Wonderful location and great cottage. The cottage is very cute and in excellent condition. A quick walk to everything in old historic Folsom or Paddle boarding on the river. Maureen was very helpful with everything. Will absolutely come back again.

Beautiful area and beautiful home away from home with all the neccesities and a very comfortable bed

The historic shops were only a few blocks away as well as several eateries. Host and hostess made sure to let me know to contact them if I needed anything which I did not as this had everything one would need. Loved it💕

We loved everything about our stay. Beautiful cottage within walking distance to bike paths, restaurants, shops & parks. Maureen was very responsive to any questions & sweet with our young daughter. The three of us enjoyed the pool every day during our stay. So much better than staying in a hotel. We'll definitely be back!

Review of Folsom Cottage

Our stay at this property was very pleasant. The cottage has been renovated and the upgrades are very modern. Everything was clean and comfortable. Maureen makes herself available to her guests and makes it a point to come meet them. We look forward to staying at this property in the spring or summer when we can sit on the deck and enjoy the pool!

We love old town Folsom! This picture was our 30th anniversary photo, taken at a favorite spot on the American River, just steps from our home and the cottage. As a working couple, we know how hard it is to fit in quality time...living in this area gives us the opportunity to be active with our family/dogs, get out to dinner, shop and enjoy all of the events the Historic District has to offer. All without ever getting in our car. Maureen has spent over 30 years working in the field of property management. Remodeling this cottage and making it comfortable for our guests came naturally!
