We enjoyed our stay visiting family nearby however we didn’t find this property a place to accommodate more than 4 or 5 people. The weather did not cooperate during our stay so fortunately we had other places to go. Was this place adequate to sleep, shower and have a quick meal before heading out I would say definitely yes. However one of the kitchen pots had residue from previous use and the ice maker was not hooked up (ice cube trays were provided)Perhaps our expectations were too high but when I see 10/10 rating I am expecting it to have had been professionally cleaned for starters and to have more updated kitchen items. Due to the intermittent rain days the road had flooded one night making it difficult to drive back through especially in the dark. I do not see where a person would entertain or comfortably sit more than 5 people especially if the weather wasn’t ideal. This property had a short drive to old town bay St. Louis and was adequate for what our adult family of three required. Overall our trip was nice and whenever we do decide to return to the area, I will consider trying a different place. Jody’s communication was very good and the check in/out information was provided and clear. A for providing laundry soap (since we only had a need for one load) and starter roll of paper towels
