Unidad deseable en el último piso con romántica vista al mar (automóvil disponible - tarifa adicional)

Hale Kamaluhia (hawaiano para House of Serenity), es nuestro refugio tropical en la costa oeste de Molokai. Nuestro condominio deseable en el segundo piso tiene techos abovedados que se suman a la sensación de apertura (además de que nadie camina por encima de usted) y se encuentra en uno de los pocos edificios en el complejo que tienen una vista sin obstáculos de la playa de Papohaku (una de las playas de arena blanca más largas de Hawai). Debido a que vivimos en Molokai (uno de los pocos propietarios que lo hacen), gestionamos y mantenemos personalmente el condominio. Estamos en la unidad antes y después de cada huésped para asegurarnos de que todo esté limpio y en buen estado de funcionamiento y también estamos a solo una llamada telefónica rápida para abordar cualquier problema de mantenimiento inesperado, responder cualquier pregunta que pueda tener sobre Molokai, nuestra unidad, condiciones climáticas actuales, mejores lugares para ir, cómo viajar aquí, etc. (Simplemente levante el teléfono en el condominio y marque "102"). También acabamos de volver a pintar la unidad (completado el 1 de mayo de 2019).
Hale Kamaluhia es una de nuestras pasiones y queremos que nuestros huéspedes sientan que vienen a un retiro familiar apreciado. Hemos tratado de proporcionar la mayor parte de lo que pueda necesitar, excepto alimentos y ropa. Para su conveniencia, le proporcionamos sillas de playa, toallas de playa, sombrillas de playa, una hielera pequeña, una hielera pequeña, equipo de snorkel, raquetas de tenis y binoculares para observar ballenas en los meses de invierno. Encontrará nuestra cocina completamente equipada con café de inicio, té, especias, etc.

Vehículo
Tenemos un vehículo que puede estar disponible para alquilar durante su estadía. Lo alquilamos a través de TURO ya que proporcionan el seguro adecuado y validan las licencias de conducir. A menos que permanezca durante 3 días o más, tendrá que recogerlo en nuestra casa, ya que la entrega al aeropuerto consume mucho tiempo y es perjudicial para nuestra rutina diaria. Puede usar Hele Mai Taxi o Uber (tenemos nuestro primer conductor de Uber). Si elige no alquilar nuestro vehículo, asegure un automóvil lo antes posible. Las 3 agencias de alquiler de automóviles son Alamo (ubicada en el aeropuerto), Mobettah Cars y Molokai Car Rental (puede buscar en Google la información de contacto). También puede buscar en TURO vehículos más cercanos al aeropuerto.

Peaceful, Laidback and Clean

I took my wife and 6 year old son to Molokai and we stayed here 3 nights. We found the property and condo clean and well taken care of and perfect for our small family. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Best stay!

This condo was fantastic! It was close to the lovely west side beaches which was convenient. They provided us with everything we needed besides groceries, of course. The condo was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. This was our home away from home and we are incredibly sad to leave. Host was responsive and very helpful.

Fantastic!

A well appointed condo in such a unique place. The space itself is well stocked and nicely laid out. The views from the comfortable lanai furniture can not be beat. The grounds are well maintained. The pool and beaches were beautiful and never over-crowded. This was our first visit to Molokai and we will most definitely be back!

Perfect for a romantic getaway!

It had everything I needed including a spare sewing kit that I needed last minute. It was sparkling clean and beautiful when we arrived. The sace is light and open there is a cool sea breeze. We used the car and had no problems. It was perfect for the two of us and I would recommend it to others.

Comfortable, Charming and Very Clean

We would highly recommend staying in this comfortable ocean view cottage. The trade winds blowing through the cottage kept it cool and very relaxing. The views were beautiful overlooking green grassy fields into the magnificent blue ocean! The cottage was well stocked and my husband especially like the idea of the "forget me drawer". Also we enjoyed the pool and hot tub very much!! Mahalo to Yvette and Mike for going the extra mile!!

Paradise Found

This unit was just what we were looking for. The location was ideal. The bed was very comfortable and the view was excellent! The beach accessories were much appreciated. I personally would like to have had a more comfortable chair to sit on indoors due to my back issues but we spent most of our time outside any way. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation we have had! Everyone was very nice and friendly and the beings at the hot tub were great! We will definitely be returning next year!! We already can’t wait!

Slice of Paradise

Check in was a breeze, brilliant to have a spare key in a key box on the outside in case you lock yourself out. The condo is spacious, clean, sparsely furnished, in an open, airy way, incredibly comfortable king size bed, bedding for a single daybed, awesome lounge chairs and dining set on the lanai, beach chairs, snorkel gear and stunning view of 2 mile beach. We loved the shower wand, but we're disappointed with the sketchy hot water situation. It would go out in the kitchen and shower for about 5 minutes periodically, and then come back on. This glorious kitchen, with view as you're doing dishes was fully stocked and loaded, everything is clean and labeled. We wished the knives were sharper and that the zippers worked on the beach chairs, but the snorkel gear was awesome and made up for that. We loved the pool, hot tub, huge selection of towels, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher. The hosts responded immediately to issues and were so nice. We would definitely come again! MAHALO Yvette and Michael for your beautiful Hale! We loved our 2 weeks in paradise!!

Beautiful Condo!

My husband and I just got back to Oahu from our trip out to Molokai! This condo was seriously so beautiful, cozy and PERFECT for our stay! It was decorated gorgeously, I wish it was my home! I really liked that the car rental was such a great deal along with the condo rental as well! The lanai was great! We spent so much time out there enjoying the wonderful breeze off the ocean and checking out the stars at night. The Papohaku beach was so close we could see it from the condo, and we had an absolute BLAST playing in the ocean! The resort has sort of a spooky feel, as most of it is no longer used, and is being taken over by nature. But honestly, I loved that about it! It was a totally different, serene world compared to our Honolulu home! Thank you!!!!

The best place to stay on Molokai!

We had such a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary at Hale Kameluhia! The home was perfect in every way, with a gorgeous view and very close to the beach. Yvette and Mike were such wonderful hosts-- Yvette knew we were getting in late on Saturday evening and looked up the hours for grocery stores and restaurants for us. Mike even lent us his own fishing poles so we could go surf fishing while we were there! We used the grill that was just a few steps away every night, and the condo was very well stocked. The starter olive oil, spices, and coffee were much appreciated. We even made papaya ice cream with their ice cream maker. :) The condo was immaculate and equipped with everything we needed and more. Also, it was a huge plus that they rent out their Honda CRV (the rates are much better than the airport car rental and they made it so easy to pick up and drop off). We had the most amazing time here, and would never stay anywhere else on Molokai. Mahalo once again for everything, Yvette and Mike! We will definitely be back soon!

Westend Molokai

The unit is beautifully furnished, comfortable and inviting. It has a beautiful view of Papahaku beach. I definitely will recommend this unit to friends and family.

Fantastic Experience

We had a fantastic experience staying in this condo. Everything was very well organized and prepared for our visit. The location is perfect; close enough to easily walk to the pool but very quiet with an amazing ocean view. We loved gazing at the stars at night. The owners are kind and great with communication. We cannot wait for our next visit and stay in this condo.

Your own piece of paradise

Our biggest issue was we did not realize how early the island closed now and we arrived late from Maui from California. Had I known that we planned a little different. The beach was out amazing we had it too ourselves for most of the day. We will diffinitely stay again. Mahalo.

Beautiful view and spotless accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yvette’s place! The view was breathtaking over the westcoast from the comfortable balcony with lounge chairs, in which we enjoyed incredible, star-filled night skies! The condo was spotless, had EVERYTHING we needed and even had a nice beach tote with towels all ready for our excursions. It has a nice, airy feeling and is the perfect, quiet spot to rest and relax in between island adventures. Yvette’s instructions and communications were well throughout and and we always received a quick answer when we needed it. (And the rental of her car went very smoothly and is to recommend!) If we ever make it back to Moloka’i, we would definitely want to stay again at Yvette’s condo (swim pool access inclusive!)

We came to Hawaii (Oahu) from New England with the Navy back in 1989 and fell in love with the people, the island, and the climate. We were blessed to return to Oahu again in 2009, but the increasing traffic made it less enjoyable & took a toll on us. In May of 2015, we made our first visit to Molokai & immediately fell in love with the island and the people. It's like "country" in the tropics. Imagine Hawaii of the past, unspoiled country and untouched beaches, no traffic & no stoplights! It reminded us a bit of the Oahu we knew 25 years ago, but even less developed. We retired from the Air Force in 2016 and moved to Molokai full time until 2020 when we were forced to close our B&B due to government COVID restrictions. If you like lights, noise, chain stores & restaurants, construction and need constant entertainment, then Molokai may not be for you. But if you love the ocean, are looking for peace, tranquility, beauty and want to see the Hawaii of yesterday, you may never want to leave.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Molokai is an amazing place. Unless you have actually been here, it is hard to explain. It is surreal to be the only one on a beautiful pristine beach in Hawaii or to come to a stop on the road only because you want to, or because you've arrived at your destination. There are only 2 gas stations, 2 grocery stores, and a few restaurants in town. You can buy organic produce and fruit from Kumu Farms (open Tues-Fri) and grass-fed meat fresh from Moloka'i Livestock Cooperative (M-F 7:30 am - 3:00 pm). Because the closest restaurant is 20 miles away, you'll want to cook most of your meals. There are grills right at the condo to help you do just that, as well as a kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare anything from scrambled eggs to a full hardy meal. We strive to provide everything you need to enjoy your stay and to continuously improve.

We want our guests to feel like they are coming home so we strive to provide everything you might need except food & clothes. Our condo and Molokai offer the chance to get away from it all. Enjoy the view of Papohaku Beach from our large lanai, walk along the beautiful pristine isolated beaches, drive on roads where there are very few other travelers, listen to the sounds of nature when there are no man made noises to clutter it. Fall asleep to the sound of the wind or the waves crashing on the rocks. On Molokai, you can truly relax and unwind. Mahalo for considering our place for you next getaway.
