Ubicado en una de las parcelas de tierra más destacadas de Lornes, a 100 metros del océano, Lorne Suite Lorne es una joya absoluta cuando se trata de casas de vacaciones asequibles. Highly recommended

Highly recommended. Clean and all the amenities you need. The floor to ceiling windows and views are superb. The place is well set up and roomy enough for a family vacation. Only suggestion would be to have wi-fi available for guests

Give this old old shack a miss

This property presents well online with the photos show. However it was unfortunately quite disappointing in real life. You would be better placed to book elsewhere for the money. The furniture is sub par.. couch very uncomfortable.. TV was very small.. & The bed extremely uncomfortable. The power line box directly outside of the property provided a consistent buzz during the nights. You also need to provide your own linen… Nothing was provided in this regard (not even a tea towel for the kitchen). The property is well located (only a short walk to the beach) this was the only thing going for this rental.

Location great but beds are dire

Let me just start by saying that I generally don't write anything other than 5-star reviews. We booked a long time ago so unfortunately hadn't seen the recent bad bed assessment. I slept in the main bedroom for 3 nights and now need to go and have my back fixed by a professional, I'm in that much pain. Both mattresses are so bad, I'm not sure what further negative reviews the owners are waiting on before they replace them. If you like a firm bed, I recommend against booking this property until they announce new mattresses/beds. Also, we were hoping to make use of the beautiful deck by having a BBQ one night, but the BBQ was so rusted over that it was unusable. If you are going, pack warm gear. Even in October the house was freezing (a few warmer blankets would go a long way, we had every single one on our beds we could find but they are all super thin). Heating might need to be serviced too as I've heard quieter 747's. The pro's of the property - view, location, clean, sound of the waves, birdlife, sunsets, walking distance to beach and town. I know its been a tough few years on rental properties but a few fixes are required before I would recommend this property to others, especially for the price they are asking.

Great view but poor beds

Location is beautiful, house is lovely, beds are hard and slightly sagging which is a shame and brings the quality of the house down. Otherwise a good stay

Stunning Views, great location. Disappointing beds.

The View from the front deck is absolutely stunning. Large windows in the lounge and master also offer breathtaking ocean views. House is very clean and well located. Unfortunately it also has the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The second double bed is bowed in the middle and someone has tried to repair it with some old decking boards. Also note the “Single bed” is actually a very uncomfortable fold up under one of the other beds, it comes with a stained 1980s foam mattress and is not suitable for an adult to sleep on. (We actually had to get a camping bed brought down for the second night) Things you need to bring that the property does not supply (but you may accidentally expect them to) - bath mat -hand towels -tea towels -linen and towels (stated in listing) Also note: you Can not sit and enjoy food on the deck. Lots of swooping birds including two surprisingly aggressive kookaburras which were not afraid to dive straight into our cheese platter and knock things to the ground. I felt the bed situation was misleading. But other than that the house was as described. We were able to walk to the restaurants, shops and beach very easily. The space felt private and cosy.

Great little place

The house is lovely and clean, and a fantastic location, BUT, the 2nd bedroom bed is horrible, there should have been liquid hand soap in bathroom, and considering the price, should have provided a tea towel, and I would assume there would have been at least tea, coffee and sugar, and a small long life milk in fridge, things that cheaper places always provide.

Excellent location

Fantastic location, very relaxed environment. Lovely views and a nice clean house. We struggled with the main bedroom mattress, we are used to a good sleep and we found it quite uncomfortable. Everything else was great. We think it is worth having good sleeping provisions as it is always lovely to wake refreshed when on holiday. Thank you

Couldn't be better

Location couldn't be better!! Walking distance to everything! Place is cute, best part is the main bedroom with views of the ocean! Layout is a bit weird with the bathroom being on the other side of the house. A few updates on the house would be nice! Amazing responses to checking in late at night and missing amenities, you guys went above and beyond! Loved Lorne can't wait to come back!

Perfect spot

Beautiful spot with a fabulous view over the bay and the sound of the beach waves in the background.Ideal location for walking into town . Simple well apointed house with everything we needed for a relaxing time away. Great house , great location .

Great location, easy to find, short drive to town, level ground easy for parking. Could walk, not with small children. Fantastic views, spacious outside deck, kids loved the visiting native birds. Relaxing place, comfortable homely feel, well appointed. Bathroom great, big bath for children.
