Medio del centro de Bethesda, totalmente privado, 1 habitación, 1 baño, bodega, cocina de tamaño completo, sala de estar, terrazas. A pasos de restaurantes, supermercados, tiendas, metro. Lugar asombroso. Pequeña parte de la sala de estar tiene techo bajo (6 pies) Unidad completamente privada. Habitación luminosa, armario y baño grande harán que su estadía se sienta como en casa. Gran patio con vista a los árboles es un lugar lindo. Los increíbles restaurantes de al lado hacen que su estancia sea muy conveniente. Cerca de Walter Reed, NIH, Metro, DC, ubicación impresionante. Las fotos no le hacen justicia.

Second stay at this property. Central location to sites and family in DC and Northeast MD area. Great value. Cam G is exceedingly responsive.

perfect place, perfect location

We have family in DC and Bethesda and needed a place convenient to both locations. This one worked out great! It is a spacious two bedroom place, immaculate, and well-appointed. Easy parking. Comfortable beds. Fancy bathrooms. We'll be back!

Great DC getaway!

This place was very convenient for our family trip to DC. 10 minute walk to metro and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Better than getting a hotel because we were able to save money by using the kitchen for some meals. Our unit was slightly different than pictured (there are two) but not a big deal because it had the same amenities. Highly recommended!

Excellent!

This listing served our purpose helping family move into town. We enjoyed the stay and the area. Cam was extremely responsive and helpful. Not having control of the AC was slightly annoying but Cam responded with changes immediately when requested. It was a comfortable stay. The couch might be at the end of it's useful life bring a box fan in the summer.

Exceptional location and pet friendly

There aren't a lot of pet friendly places and we had our dog with us. Cam was friendly and accommodating. You are definitely in a basement and some of the ceiling is low (which was not a surprise and in the listing). There were little things that were great like having condiments, aluminum foil, shampoo, etc which we have not always seen in VRBOs. Although ideally we would've loved to park on site, the parking was very close and affordable (parking garage). The neighborhood felt VERY safe and walking distance to many restaurants. A couple negatives: The heating and AC are not controlled within the unit which was inconvenient as we like to adjust often. Cam did accommodate our request quickly, but still inconvenient. The towels were worn out, hard and had little hairs in them. They needed to be replaced, so bad that we went and bought our own towels. There was a gas smell coming from the stove area, and when I reported it, Cam mentioned the area this house is in has a sulfur smell. But it clearly was coming from just the stove area. The futon is tiny and you can feel the frame and springs through it. It truly should be replaced with a sleeper sofa or a larger futon. Overall, if we were the area with our dog again, we would definitely stay again, but if we didn't have our dog, we would likely find a different place.

All that I was looking for.

The proprerty is centrally located to MD, VA, and DC area, cozy and safe accomodations, and a bicyclers delight. Easy access to DC via metro. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. With spring time teperature fluctuations - Cam was very responsive to adjusting apt temp settings (within seconds of our requests). Location is right on Crescent City Trail and close to C & O Tow Path. Public parking is nearby but it would be nice in the future to park on site (if possible).

Not what I expected

The host was very responsive and accommodating. This is a great walking location to stores and restaurants. The internet is fast and there are lots of electrical outlets. I liked the self-check in. The Apartment has some drawbacks, especially if you'll be there for more than a night or two: There's a queen bed and an uncomfortable futon, not a sofa bed, so it doesn't really sleep 4. There are no dressers or shelves if you want to unpack. There is very little natural light. There were plastic forks and knives but no spoons of any kind; I expected real silverware. The bathtub is big but the bathroom is really tiny. The kitchen is functional but small. The washer and dryer are also tiny. The street is quiet but in the apartment there's overhead noise when people walk or use the water.

Ideal location

This trim spot (the smallest washer and dryer I've ever seen, but they work!) is probably not for a tall or large person, but has an ideal location. They've solved a significant parking problem (being a block from all the restaurants in downtown Bethesda) by paving over the front yard. Very brightly lit, with numerous outlets and a full kitchen.

Modern but cozy place

Loved this little apartment. I'll stay here again. We had some issues with the heating but the manager dealt with it immediately. It's best suited for 2 people.

Good news and bad news

Good news: *Property owner easy to reach, and courteous *Property was mostly clean. Bad news: *There is no way in life this place accommodates 4. It would work for 2, who sleep in the same bed. The futon-ish thing in the living area is short, hard, narrow, and could only fit two 5-yr-olds, or 2 midgets. But still, it is incredibly uncomfortable. *When standing next to the stove, one smells gas. So we didn't use the stove. *The bedspread was not clean. *Weirdly, there are no ice trays in the freezer. *There is no deck or porch, as advertised in the listing. *Parking is not allowed on the property and is forbidden on the street, but is not, as the listing states, "across the street". It is down the block, around a corner and halfway down another block, and is a cavernous subterranean lot that costs $15 a night. In short, it is OK to monetize your mom's basement, which is apparently what the owner of this property is doing. But it is not OK to misrepresent what it is, so the visitor leaves feeling ripped off, given that, after cleaning fees, taxes and various other charges, this place really costs 40% more than the price listed.

Great stay in a great location

I stayed here while in Bethesda for a professional development course. The unit was clean and comfortable. It is in a very convenient location. It is an easy walk from the metro stop and near lots of great restaurants. Communication with the owner was easy. I would certainly recommend this unit!

Great location

This was an excellent location close to everything downtown Bethesda has to offer. Listing is very accurate and communication with the owner was fast and pleasant. The only thing I would change is the parking situation, which is fully disclosed. However, I felt like there was room for us to park and spending $15 a day was not enjoyable. There is also 2 units, we saw pictures for the other unit which had a darker room (for our sleeping baby) and a bathtub. This was not the case in the second unit however it was just as nice. Also, upstairs foot traffic could be loud at times when the baby was napping but was not loud early in the morning or at night. I would recommend this place and definitely stay again!

Our parking as stated in our description has only one way out and will be a logistic problem when people park in front of one another. We do let guests that will use metro and do not use their car often park in our driveway if they ask us. We will make this point clearer in our listing.

A perfect stay

A real gem! The apartment is in a fantastic location. In the center of Bethesda, just footsteps from all the amenities, while also being quiet and calm. It is modern, clean and very well equipped. Our check in and check out process was seamless, and the property manager was extremely helpful. Should we ever stay in the area again we will certainly be hoping it would be there.
