Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic time with 3 generations and sisters family just down the street. Perfect location next to gondola Shock Hill stop. Never had to wait in line to get on going up or down. Did not need to drive to get to town and all the restaurants and shops. We had a visit from a mother moose and baby in our yard one night and a bear another night. Monarch at Shock Hill was very well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for meals at home. River Ridge Rentals staff was the best we have ever used. They answered all our questions very quickly and professionally. We mostly communicated via texting. Highly recommend the property and the services to everyone looking for a fabulous time. Within an hour and a half we had rafting, horseback riding, guided fly fishing, out the door for hiking and biking. We did it all we loved it all, could not of been happier with the whole experience. FANTASTIC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is SPECTACULAR! The rooms, spaces, kitchen, lounge room.. all incredible. And the location couldn't be better,literally just walking distance to the gondola, we even walked everyday with our ski boots on! The only thing that we found that could be improved is that the appliances need a little maintenance. The washing machine and downstairs mini fridge did not work. Evertything else was REALLY SPECIAL! Definitely would recommend to relatives and friends!!!

Great home for our trip! Very nice and clean! Decorated very nicely. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

The location couldn’t be better. Just steps from the gondola station and a three minute drive from Main St. River Ridge Rentals was very responsive to the few questions we had. We enjoyed river rafting, the Georgetown Loop train, as well as the Snowflake hiking trail and Main St shopping. We had a great meal at Hearthstone with outstanding service. The house was just as nice as promised and very spacious. They advertise a Meile coffe bar which is great but should mention that a Kuerig and drip maker are also provided. The master bedroom mattress might need replacement. It was very squeaky when moving around on it. Noisy.

Beautiful, convenient mountain home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 6 adults and 4 children had a lovely experience at Monarch at Shock Hill. The location is perfect, we were able to walk, drive, or take the gondola to town in minutes, The kitchen was well stocked with spices and plenty of cooking utensils. We loved the Miele coffee machine and high end appliances. The lower level was nice because it had a family room with large windows and doors which let out to the hot tub and fire pit. The management team was extremely responsive and took care of all of our requests. The house is spacious and comfortable, we will be back!

It was nice to have three levels to spread out. The house was equipped with top of the line appliances, a well stocked kitchen and even lots of games and toys for the variety of ages. The location was fantastic with easy access to the gondola and hiking trails or a quick drive into town. You can't beat Peak 8 for location. This house really spoiled us!

Beautiful home and very close to the Gondola!

Loved our stay! Not a negative but living room furniture could use an upgrade. To include replacing both couches/throw pillows and exchanging the leopard chairs with nice recliners.

This property is exactly as advertised, a beautiful, well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood. We had a wonderful stay and were impressed by the ease of communication with the property managers while on site. We will definitely be staying here again.

It was in a great location and was extremely clean and extremely well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We normally have to make a trip to the store for some of the essentials, but not here! Lots of soap, detergent, paper towels and much, much more was already there! The staff was very responsive to all of our questions and took care of our requests very quickly and efficiently. All of their personnel were very friendly and extremely helpful and professional!

We've been coming to Breck for years with our 2 kids; this year decided to bring extended 3 generation family. This home was exactly what we were hoping for as our base of operations and better than anywhere else we have stayed. The kitchen and living spaces provided ample gathering and private spaces for easy mornings with a spectacular view of the mountain sunrise, and big dinners, game nights and movies by the fireplace. The bedroom suites were both luxurious & quiet. And the location 75 yards to the gondola mid-load was perfect for our first-chair and last-chair snow seekers. Also, we could have charged rent for the steam-shower in the primary bath! Our entire family agrees, we absolutely want to come back here again next year! The only additional support I'd suggest is a guide on using the whole-home oxygen system for my fellow highland travelers. Thanks Monarch see you soon!
