Hosts were responsive and helpful. House had a large living and dining ares and plenty of room all around for our party of 9. The kitchen was very well equipped - we cooked all our dinners there and it had everything we needed. There was even a coffee grinder which was handy to grind the beans we mistakenly bought instead of ground coffee. Overall a great stay.

The house was great for large family vacation with excellent location for ski in/out. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was water heater issue on 3 of 6 days causing everyone to only get cold showers. Handyman was responsive each time, but unfortunately was an issue for our family.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We’re glad to hear the home and ski-in/ski-out location worked well for your family. We sincerely apologize for the water heater issues during your stay and appreciate your patience while our handyman responded. As a gesture of goodwill, we’d be happy to offer a discount on a future stay and would welcome the opportunity to host you again.

Great House

We (13 guys) had an excellent stay at Jim's house. The location can't be beat - you are practicaly on the slope and can ski right back to the garage. While the house is older everyone had a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and steam shower daily.

Easy check-in. Door code for garage and front door. No keys to deal with which was nice on a ski trip. House easily accommodated our 2 families. 14 people in total. Plenty of dishes/pots/pans. Several crock pots. Great kitchen table seats 14. Hot tub/sauna/steam room were a hit after a day in the slopes. Ski in/ski out was moderate difficulty slope. Not for an absolute beginner but if you can ski blue runs it should be fine. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

Terrific Ski In / Ski Out

With many bedrooms and bathrooms, this home was very comfortable for two families that enjoy skiing together. The home was clearly set up for skiers: straight on and off piste at Creekside, with hot tub (with view), sauna, and plenty of space. Host was also highly responsive. We would happily stay again.

Family Ski Trip

We enjoyed our stay here immensely! It is often hard to find houses that have as much space as this one does combined with the amount of bathrooms so it was perfect for our large group of 13! The house was clean upon arrival and check in instructions were clear. You also can’t beat the ski in ski out aspect of this house. We literally skid back right to our doorstop. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect experience

Our group had the perfect experience at this property. It was steps away from the ski in area near creek side gondola. The house was massive with big windows and in a little corner slightly away from all the other houses. The hot tub, sauna, and views were all huge hits amongst our group. There were plenty of beds and space for our entire group. Would come back again.

We had all our kids & grandkids with us over New Years. It’s great we could all stay in one house with plenty of room. I especially loved all being able to eat at one table. Our grandkids loved the theater room & we all enjoyed the hot tub! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals at home. Wonderful trip, sad it’s time to head home.

Great property right on the slopes. Amazing space for a ski vacation!

This place was amazing. It is right on the slopes which made in so much easier to get going in the morning and get back in the afternoons. The living spaces of the house are totally decked out, very comfortable. A real treat. Hot tub and Sauna were a favorite for everyone after a long day skiing. So relaxing! The some amazing views out of the living room, dining room and a couple of the bedroom windows. Would absolutely put this on your short list of places to stay in the Whistler area.

Amazing stay!

The house was huge and had all the amenities one could want. The location could not have been better for a ski in ski out (fair warning the runs leading to the house are intermediate) but the Creekside gondola is a short hill down to go back up the mountain. Its much quieter and less busy compared to the Whistler/Blackcomb village gondolas. A perfect house for 2-3 families with enough room for everyone to have their own space. Communication was immediate when we had an issue with a hottub setting and fixed within an hour. Will stay here again!

Beautiful home, great location. Can use some furniture update and better cleaning!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious and very close to Whistler Village. We were however disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. The kitchen was very dirty (cabinets, oven, drawers) We could see the spider webs over the top cabinets. There were hairs in the shower when we arrived and the bedsheets smelled funky. I think the owners must be made aware of this to reach out to the maintenance team.

family reunion

Overall, the house was a great fit for our family. Plenty of rooms, and good living space. The view is beautiful from the living room. The bedroom in the basement isn't too inviting, but it is extra bed space if needed. Easy to get in and out of, close to Whistler village and to a lot of trails. (We had different family members in different houses - all in this area) We had some issues with finding live and dead birds in the house, which we removed to outside. I am hoping home owner looks into the space where they came from and checks things out. We had little kids in the house, and really didn't want them in contact with that. They are building a new gondola on the hill beside the house, and for 3 days (7am-7pm), there were helicopters flying cement up the hill. The noise was pretty unbearable. While the home owner had no idea this was happening, it really put a damper on part of our week. It was a big expense for the house(and we are okay with the price), but to be woken up and have the noise continuous for those 3 days, was horrible. I'm not sure if construction will continue throughout the summer. And just bring eye masks if you stay in the summer. The daylight starts around 5am, and some bedroom windows don't have blinds. Overall, Whistler is a beautiful area, and has a lot to offer. We will hopefully be able to visit again.

We're so sorry about the construction going on up there! We had no idea that was going to happen. With all your family up there in the same area for your reunion, that must have been difficult for you all! Unbelievable timing for that to be transpiring. As far as the birds, we will definitely be checking into that and try to figure out how they got in. We have never had anything like that happen! I still wonder if those poor little creatures were scared by the helicopters, too, and were desperate for a place to hide. Such incredible circumstances, definitely not something that we've ever experienced. We're truly sorry it wasn't more relaxing and peaceful for your stay. I wish we could have known about that construction before you chose those dates, we would have definitely let you know. We hope you at least had some fun with your family and made some lasting memories. Wishing you the best!
