*I have always dreamt of owning my own home and finally after working hard and saving hard I was able to make this come true. I choose this area as it is surrounded by Conjola National Park and is also right next to beautiful Swan Lake. I thought because of its location and the original 'lost in time' feel of the house it will always keep that lovely relaxing holiday charm that makes a holiday special. I lived there in 2018 for 6 months while I worked hard on renovating the bedroom, sitting room and putting in a new on-suite bathroom . I am very proud of how much I did and learnt. I also realised that as a woman am a very good “tradie” ( except I didn’t get paid like one!! He he !).
I didn’t want to leave the area, but my “real” job is based elsewhere, as it was so peaceful easy going and lost in time around Sussex Inlet. Not to mention how beautiful the whole area is and the fantastic beaches. If circumstances allowed I would move there again in a heartbeat, instead I get to go there for holidays and weekends . The good part is I also get to share it with you, which is nice to allow others to enjoy what I get to enjoy! I am also happy for people to stay there long term as well if you are needing somewhere fully furnished for a number of months? I really hope you do get to experience my place and the amazing area. Please keep in mind if you do stay there that it is a special place to me and I have put in a lot of hard work to make it nice for me and you.
So please, take your time to get to know the area and immerse yourself in the nature and you will be guaranteed a great holiday\stay you wont forget.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
I had been coming to Sussex Inlet for the last 5 years and renting a place to stay each year with my family . We first stayed in Sussex Inlet for my dad’s last holiday before he died . Then we decided to return the next year as it already had special memories for us. The memories were just a lovely addition to the fantastic area, both factors keep us returning each year after that.
I also especially loved the feeling the area has, reminding me of sweet little holiday towns I stayed in when I was a child . I realised this lost in time feel is very much apart of the area, and very much about what a holiday means to me.
Sussex Inlet is so amazing with the Inlet stretching around the whole town and a bike track so you can ride around it in the park. You can boat , sail, relax, swim and fish around the calm waters until it meets up with the ocean.
Then you get to discover the beautiful beaches, Cudmirrah (which is patrolled in summer and has a surf club) and Berarra.
We loved that you have so many different aspects of nature in the one area. Also Jervis Bay , Benndelong and Mollymook are so close being neighbouring towns.
I decided to purchase a house in Swanhaven for all these reason and more. I knew the area had become important to me and I wanted to make it part of my life on a permanent basis. I choose the suburb of Swanhaven as it is less than 5 minutes away from the town of Sussex Inlet and still has everything to offer. However it is even more peaceful and is built around Swan Lake , situated between Sussex and has three surf beaches both less than 5 minutes away by car.
I know the suburb will never be over developed because Conjola National Park surrounds it and that is very important to me . I feel it is a little treasure of a secret between you and me. Hopefully it will remain the same holiday destination year after year without loosing it ‘s charm and wil become a memory for our children, who may get to experience with their children,

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
Two fantastic main towns are both less than half an hour drive away.
1. NOWRA- the biggest town in the area with all the shops etc. you could ever need.
There is a train station in Bomaderry, a suburb Nth of town centre and a public bus , the Shoal Bus 735, that will take you from Nowra and deliver you straight to the front door of 'Swanhaven House'.
Otherwise there is Premiere Bus Service ( a private service) that goes to and from Sydney to the turn off on the Princes Highway to Sussex Inlet/Swanhaven. It is 13kms from there to get to Swanhaven.
2. ULLADULLA- is a delightful fishing town sitting on a pretty little harbour. It has all the modern shops and supermarkets, (Aldi, Woolworthes, Coles, Bunnings, Target etc.) pubs, cafes and restaurants as well a cinema and a free council salt water pool. Explore it for yourself, you may discover more than I have!
Milton, just nth of Ulladulla is a really lovely town with historic buildings and heaps of character and charm. It has great cafes and gift shops and is worth a look around.
3. Huskinson, Vincentia and Jervis Bay are all roughly half an hour drive North of Swanhaven, (East off highway). With beautiful national park and white sandy beaches this is a really special area. These three areas all have their own shops and restaurants.
*Vincentia being the closest to buy groceries as it has a shopping complex with ALDI ,COLES WOOLWORTHES etc.
All of the above mentioned towns host monthly markets including Sussex Inlet , it has its market every 2nd Saturday of the month.
