Thank you for staying with us at Flip Flop Fun, and I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your time in the condo. I’m sorry the check-in at the resort gate wasn’t as smooth as it should’ve been. The parking passes are issued directly by the resort, not by our team, and on rare occasions the gate staff mix up their own procedure and tell guests the passes are in the unit. They’re not — they’re always meant to be provided at the gate. Our pre-arrival directions do spell out exactly what the guards need — your name and the unit address — and a reminder that the passes are issued there at the gatehouse. Most days that works exactly as intended, but when the resort staff slip off script it can certainly cause frustration, and I don’t blame you for feeling that way. We appreciate you rolling with it, and we’re glad the rest of the stay hit the mark. If you return to the Lowcountry, we’d love to host you again and make sure your arrival is as easy as the rest of your vacation.
