Si bien esta casa no es técnicamente frente al mar, es lo más cerca que se puede obtener: el acceso a la playa se encuentra bajando la colina y las vistas son panorámicas. ¡Cuando te relajas en la bañera de hidromasaje en la terraza de la azotea, contemplando desde la perspectiva de la cima del mundo hasta el Pacífico, ciertamente no notarás la diferencia! La impresionante ubicación de la casa inspiró a su arquitecto para que la diseñara, de modo que pudiera observar el océano desde todas las habitaciones; el piso principal está elevado para elevarlo al nivel de la vista, y las grandes ventanas hacen que los azules, verdes y grises del océano y el cielo estén siempre presentes. Magníficos y cálidos muebles, espaciosas habitaciones, dos chimeneas de gas de colores con fachada de pizarra y una cocina a medida elevada son solo algunas de las maravillosas comodidades. Perfect Location and Views

Amazing clean property 1 min walk from the beach. Host was quick to respond and bring propane when needed. Did run out of dish soap, laundry soap and toilet paper on the last day. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Property has potential, but worst master bedroom bed we have ever slept on!

First I want to start with the positives the views from just about every room are amazing! The beach is so close you can easily watch your family playing in the surf while cooking in the kitchen. Some things to note that aren’t negative or positive is the amount of stairs! We all got an amazing workout going up 3 flights just to get to the main living areas and another two to get to the master bedroom. I was 6 weeks out from getting a total hip replacement surgery, so I actually liked the stairs because I got plenty of PT going up and down! It is difficult for carrying in all your stuff, and we all felt it after 3 days! In comparison to other rentals we have stayed in this had the best view, however there was a lot of lights that were out and needed to be changed, and everything is very outdated! They have a telescope and binoculars there which was a nice touch if they weren’t all broken, the tables are all stained and couches and furniture should be replaced. There was a musty smell but that could have been from the carpet, this home has a lot of carpet so harder to keep clean and get the smells out. We received a message a day or so before our arrival that the jacuzzi tub was not working. I had seen this in previous reviews and even emailed to ask if everything was in working order. I never received a response but I can tell you that tub is not fixable! The parts have been broken off for a while now, so they should replace it. The shades in the bathroom were also broken, making it a real job to hand roll them up so that we could enjoy the view from there. The garage door got stuck open so at one pony we had to move all of our stuff we had in the garage to the house so that we could leave the property for an outing and not have our stuff stolen. They did promptly come to fix the door as it was working when we got back. But I have to say we were let down by how much was broken, stained, and the cleanliness of the place. We were going to use the futon in the master bedroom for our son to sleep on but all the extra bedding provided was piss stained and even smelled! But the biggest complaint we have which is the reason we will never rent this place again unless they update it was the master bed!Here you have a gorgeous view from that room, however the bed had a lump so big in the center of it from being worn out that we couldn’t hardly sleep. My husband rolled to one side, me to the other, we have a video we took of the lump!

Great location and beautiful house

House was amazing, just steps away from the beach and we loved the rooftop hot tub and picnic table. Great layout and lovely views from every single room. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night! Cons: Jets on the master bath tub are still broken and judging by past reviews, have been broken for a long time. The plates and dishes were all a little dirty, we probably had to wash all it half of them before using them but otherwise everything was clean and in good condition.

Family Vacation

We had a great time. Unfortunately, the jets in the jacuzzi tub were not working during our stay and we were unable to set up the ping pong table due to it being broken as well. The views are spectacular and if we had been feeling better (sick the entire time), we would have had an even better time.

Nicely Appointed. Great views from every bedroom.

Overall a great place to stay, with plenty of room for 6 people and kids. The oven didn't work for us over Easter weekend which was a bummer, but we pivoted and used the grill and stove top instead. Very nice place, we had a great weekend.

Loved the house!

I loved this house. Great view of the ocean, very close to beach access. Very clean, easy check in process. Loved the hot tub on the outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. Would definitely return!

Amazing property

This is amazing property! The views are worth every penny. It’s actually secondary property to the beach. But the views from the master bedroom, living room and both balconies are like you’re right on the beach. And path to the beach is a step away. Great communication with the management every step of the way. Hot tub was crystal clear. Everything you’d need in the kitchen. Perfect for my big family!

A beautiful slice of heaven

This rental was just perfect for our trip! The views overlooking the ocean are absolutely stunning and each bedroom has them which was a bonus. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities you’d need to prepare meals which was very nice. The living room/dining room were very cozy. The hot tub was clean and worked awesome. Beach access was literally less than a 1 minute walk from the property. All in all, I’m very pleased with our decision on this rental and wouldn’t hesitate to rent again!!

Slightly disappointed with broken items

The location of the home is great. Amazing view of the ocean in every room. Close walk to the beach. Nice and quite neighborhood. Sadly, a few of features are broken or beat down. A window blind in master bedroom is broken and harsh to even look at. A couple of windows won’t open. The hot tub is filthy and discolored and seemed unsafe to use. The jets have poor power. There is a chair as the kitchen table where the seat is not screwed on at all and is unsafe to use. There’s a broken piece under the table where one of use was pitched by. The batteries are dead in the garage door opener. The jet tub in the master does work and based on old reviews, has it been for a long time and you just haven’t bothered with it or is it not really but you just don’t want people to use it? I saw a review from 2017 reporting it as broken? These may all seem like little things but for the price paid to stay here it all added up to being disappointing.

Not as clean as I would have liked

A nice house but some dishes were dirty probably due to a very old dishwasher. Also the hottub was dirty with sand at the bottom and the water was a little green. The toaster and oven didn't work well. Also, the king mattress in the master suite was awful; very old with huge dips on both sides and a huge mound in the middle.

Beautiful location and home - Meredith Lodging (property manager) was a miss.

My family (2 adults + younger kids) greatly enjoyed our early August stay at the Tranquility beach house south of Lincoln City (by about 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic). The highlight of the trip was definitely the location of the home. Perched a block off the beach and literally 20 steps from end of driveway to the beach access stairs, it was an easy commute to get down to the sand! The beach itself was quite amazing- on even the busiest weekend days, it had roughly 1/50th of the people of the Lincoln City beaches, with easily 100' between us and any other people setting up for the day. The beach terrain was relatively flat, which made sitting in a beach chair and watching our kids play at the water's edge that much easier. We definitely would target a home in this area, given the quietness of the beach and its features. The home was a solid 4/5 stars. Like many vacation properties, its a bit simplistic and aging in its amenities (the master tub seems to have been out of commission for more than a month based on other reviews here and elsewhere as an example). BUT its well maintained and its comfortable for a family gathering. Ours wasn't a huge group, so we only used 2 bedrooms of the 3 available. Plenty of room for midday naps for the kids, etc. Carpet throughout was also nice for the younger ones and with all of the stairs. Big areas that could use some updating / upkeep- all of the glass railings around the decks were in need of a solid cleaning- they ended up blocking more of the view than they're intended to. The blinds in a number of rooms are shot (as noted by other reviewers), although with the orientation of the house, this really only means sunlight coming in at sunset. The tub was out (which our property manager knew about for in excess of a month but failed to mention till the day of our trip). All in, a bit of elbow grease and some basic work would go a long ways towards upgrading this property further. All those complaints aside, it has amazing views of the beach and the ocean and killer sunsets from the deck. It could get a bit divier before we wouldn't come back. Pro's definitely outweighed the cons. The property management company was the big miss for us. We'd read a lot of negative reviews of Meredith Lodging (part AirBnB, part property management) but assumed it was due to their size (they're a multi-billion dollar company). From the get go it was a lackluster experience all due to communication. 3/5 stars at best

Minor problems

We got there and surveyed the home. We found the following: 1. One of the window shades in living room did not work. 2. There were cigarette burns in bedding on first floor bedroom. 3. Window blinds in upper floor bedroom were broken. 4. Low on toilet paper, paper towels and regular towels.

DVD did not work. Called several numbers for Meredith Management. Finally got a call back. Could not get any service to fix it until after we left. Requested compensation.

Weekend away at Depoe Bay.

I would echo other comments that this location was a little nicer than the photos would imply. We very much enjoyed this vacation rental. Our highlights were the hot tub on the deck, few hundred yard walk down to beach, gorgeous large ocean view windows, gas fireplaces, and ping pong table. Perfect place for a weekend retreat.
