ALIZE on MOONA es un hermoso apartamento de un dormitorio frente a la playa que le ofrece unas vacaciones inolvidables en el corazón del área de recreación de Huskisson: Moona Moona Creek. Está ubicado en la ubicación perfecta de la playa de Collingwood Beach, Moona Moona Creek, Sailors Beach y Moona Moona Beach Park con áreas de barbacoa al aire libre.

Location was great with some nice homely touches. The main issue was the plumbing of the property. Unfortunately despite all efforts, the toilet would not stop running all weekend and making noise, and the drains had a fairly bad stench rising through them, especially when using the shower. Hopefully this can be fixed for future guests!

Close to Beach at Huskisson - Ideal for Young Children

The flat was spotlessly clean and comfortable. A short walk to the beach and about 25 minutes walk to Cafes and eating areas. Paradise and safe estuary for young kids. Flat could have done with another drinking glass and another coffee mug as only one was provided but otherwise well stocked with coffee making machines and other utensils.

Hi Moira, Sorry there was insufficient mugs and glasses. Unfortunately immediately prior to your booking we had a combined house and flat booking for one family group. (New idea for us). As they were together they were in and out of both the house and flat. Cleaner has been give a checklist to check such items for future similar bookings. Regards Natalia

Needs work.

Access to the unit is poor as you have to first negotiate stepping over a garden edge, walk down side of house on undulating ground covered in moss,(a slip hazard). whilst negotiating around three air conditioning plants past some 5 metres of stacked roof tiles then watch that you dont trip over a garden hose reel and conections. On the way you pass open windows of bedrooms of the house. No lighting at night. Not what you expect if you are in your seventies and paying quite expensive rates. Back patio area needs cleaning up and cealing in sitting area needs painting where light fittings have been removed. Access problem could be easily fixed by having access on left of property as all you need do is move a small garden shed and build about 10meteres of fence.

First time this has been an issue, however after speaking to Ken it seems unfortunately, there was some misunderstanding as to the entry instructions in that Ken continually used the right-hand side grass path (used only for servicing/reading electrical meters) rather than the left-hand side concrete path used for entry to the flat. Shall affix a directional sign to clarify. Painter is due after school holidays to repaint over where ceiling light was upgraded just recently. Since spoke to Ken and he acknowledge he was in courtyard but did not see concrete footpath to waterside and unit. Said he would put a notice on record that he used the incorrect footpath. Cannot understand how he could have got it wrong, no one else in three years has missed the correct footpath.

Nice getaway

Cosy space for my wife and I on our stay, and we enjoyed our Easter break. Hosts were generous with a gift on arrival. Bed was on the smaller side but luckily neither of us are particularly tall.

Huskisson by the Creek

Great location with access to the beach and creek. Enjoyed a daily kayak on the creek before venturing off for a surf at one of the many beaches in the bay.

Great little shack right on the beach.

The position is amazing. Right overlooking the beach and direct access The hosts went above and beyond for us and our baby in providing a cot but also baby toiletries. Also left a few nice surprises For us. Would definitely use again if I go back there as location is amazing.

Need more stars!

From the get-go, the hosts were incredible- I needed some accommodation for 4 weeks and at the drop of a hat they were able to accommodate me. They were so kind and generous and always checked in and made sure I had enough bedding, towels, products, anything you could imagine. The listing could not be more accurate, the property is 100 metres from the water, the views are spectacular and the bird-life is amazing too. The flat was clean, organised and had everything I needed. It was very comfortable, in a perfect location for the beach and for the town, off street parking was painless and generally the whole experience was probably hands-down the best holiday experience I’ve ever had. Whether you’re down for just a weekend or staying a bit longer, this place is perfect for everything. I could not recommend the flat highly enough, made so amazing by the generous hosts.

Cosy waterfront retreat

Magnificent location. Easy access to beach, tidal lagoon & creek for swimming, water play, kayaking & SUP. Moona Moona Creek provides excellent 1.5 to 2 hr lazy paddle. Flat is plenty roomy for 2 with great facilities. Good to have aircon, washing machine & drying/airing rack, full size fridge and oven/stove plus microwave! Just be aware that the bed is a double, so it was a tad short for the over 6 foot hubby, and is on the soft side. Was good to find a bath mat & face washers. Many places forget to include these in the linen package. Thanks to James & Natalia for their friendly & helpful service AND the added edible goodies .... we enjoyed these immensely! Despite some inclement weather we had a fabulous stay!

Location!

It was just what we needed. A quiet spot, close to the water and relatively central. We don't want to be in the centre of activity but enjoyed being able to walk along the waterfront to the main area. Will definitely keep this spot on our list for the Jarvis Bay region.

Alize on Moona, Huskisson!

Rented a one bedroom flat, wasn't told (and didn't ask) where to get the keys. Helpful agent was there in 20 minutes to let us in. The unit was clean, presentable, lots of smelly candles to use. The washing machine in the ensuite was a bit stinky, easy fixed by shutting the door. Good shower, plenty of water pressure. Not sure if hot water would be an issue if the adjoining house was at capacity! The one bedroom flat is overlooked by the next door rental property's balcony. Quite noisy if the neighbors are partying, best you invite yourself over rather than try to sleep. Place would really suit a young family, immediate access to Moona inlet with safe swimming or paddling, lots of wind surfing happening when we were there! If I went back I'd take the family and book the 3 bedroom house.
