The property was quite old. No wi fi. The front security door is not working. It cant be locked by the key. The main bathroom door and toilet door can't be locked. The fittings are quite old. The shower water flow is very slow. I suggest the property should be renovated before listing out.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that aspects of the property did not meet your expectations. We appreciate you bringing the issues with the front security door, the bathroom and toilet door locks, and the shower water pressure to our attention. We will ensure these maintenance items are passed on to the property owner for inspection and consideration. We also appreciate your comments regarding the age of the property and its fittings. As noted in the property listing, Wi-Fi is not provided at this accommodation, allowing guests to make an informed choice when booking. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. Just a house

It's just a place to stay. Small things..... no hair dryers in bathroom, a full length mirror would be great in one of the rooms and would be appreciated if they allowed more than one roll of toilet paper for a three night stay and I would say it needs a good clean, especially the bathrooms.

Spacious retreat from the late March heatwave

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Surfside Retreat was perfect for the needs of the four adults in our group. Thanks to the air conditioning and ceiling fans and the proximity to the beach, we were able to see and do everything we had planned to do in Kalbarri despite the heat. Our stay in Kalbarri was the highlight of our nine day road trip.

A Week's Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A week's vacation from the city grind. The house was nicely furnished, finished, quiet area, near the beach, but a good distance from the shops, and not too far either. The house is relatively spacious without being too big, pet friendly. I would stay out this house again in the future.

Spacious and comfortable

Surfside Retreat is spacious with a good floor-plan. Beds were comfortable and the position is convenient. The property is on a T-junction and so there was traffic noise in the main bedroom. Not so much in the 2 minor bedrooms. The property was overall very clean. There were some maintenance issues that were reported to Contessi which they were going to fix after our stay. Most did not impact on our enjoyment of the property except for the BBQ - which did not work apart from the sideburner. We were told that the owner was replacing the BBQ - so that will be great for the future! Overall the property was excellent!
