Wonderful home away from home

This property is very clean and spacious. We are a family of 7 and it fit our family size perfectly. The water park pool area with activities for the kiddos was just an amazing touch! Very neighborhood. I would definitely rent again.

Great Vacation!

No issues with stay at all. Property was well described and clean. Lots of families around so not super quiet but great for families! Also, it was quiet at night when it mattered and property staff were on top of things. Resort pool at the clubhouse was big and really fun. Pool at home is small but perfect for cooling off. Would recommend!

Will be our go to spot from now on!

Super nice and clean in the house. Clubhouse has a lot to offer on the days you want to just rest. Quick 25 minute trip to Disney or 35 minute trip to Universal (depending on traffic). Definitely will be using this specific company and house for future vacation.

Large relaxing property.

This property has lots of room for 10 people. Every couple has there own bathroom. Two large seating areas to use. The resort has a large pool and hot tub to use along with other amenities to use . Just as the property is described in add. You won’t be disappointed. There were a few small thing that needed repairs during our month stay but we’re fixed in a timely manner.

Great space with great amenities

Communication with Peter was excellent from the moment we booked. Was always timely with responses and even when we had a small issue he made sure it was resolved in a timely manner. The place easily accommodated 8 of us. We all had our own privacy to get away when we wanted. We had everything we could want for cooking many meals over our 12 days stay. The teens enjoyed both the private pool and the larger one at the resort, along with the basketball courts. Us adults enjoyed time at the large pool and the bar for snacks and drinks. I would highly recommend this home! Thank you Peter and Peter for a great stay.

Christmas stay

Had 9 people in the group... only 2 people could get a shower or the other showers were ice cold. The temperature in the house was cold. The house wasn’t too clean when we got there. French fries in the floor, beer bottle in the yard. House was spacious.

Im sorry that something was wrong with the temperature in the showers. We have a brand new water heater and it should be fine. When things like this happen one must call management and have them check it out. They usually arrive within minutes after reporting. If it was cold in the house you must switch the AC from cool to warm. Regarding a french frie on the floor this is of course not good and we will talk to the cleaning company. The space around the house isnt really a yard and is taken care by the Paradise Palms gardeners but they dont work during the big holidays. Sorry about the bottle. Once again we are really sorry that everything wasnt 100%. It usually is. Sincerely Peter

Family fun getaway

The over all impressions of the property was great. The pool was used a lot. The location was of the resort was Centrally located to everywhere we were going to. The amenities at the resort were nice we used the pool, the Arcade and the kids watched a movie our last day there. The only complaint that I really have would to update the website with the correct check out time. Explain the garbage process better it’s confusing. Otherwise it was great, we would rent it again. Wonderful vacation home!

This vacation home was very spacious with plenty of room, beautifully decorated and clean! The beds were comfy and the towels smelled so fresh and clean! The location was great as well for our trip to Disney. My gps even took me a different route to the resort at night to avoid traffic. We enjoyed the clubhouse pool, hot tub and bar and grill as well. The communication with the owner was great and he was very nice! Communication with the rental agency and our check in information was a little delayed when I had a personal issue with part of the check in process but it was all resolved and worked out fine just before we arrived. I would just suggest calling rather than texting to get a quicker response. We were about 12 minutes past the 11am check out time exiting the home but were making sure everything was in place as we found it when we arrived. We also had all the dishes clean and put away, all the garbage taken out and 3 of the beds were not slept in and wouldn’t need made up so hopefully that didn't delay housekeeping too much. Overall we enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend this home and definitely stay here again. Thank you to Peter for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful property. Bring your own everything.

The home is beautifully appointed. The pictures don't do it justice. It's way better than even the pictures. The pool is small, but so are my grandchildren, so it worked for us. The club house pool is enormous and really close by. We walked to it in less than 5 minutes. The house next door was party central for someone. The music was loud and so were the people. Up most of the night partying. Don't know if that's a rental home too, or if it's a private home. But it did affect our stay. It was hard to sit around the pool and talk because the neighbors were THAT loud. My only complaint: there was nothing extra in the home. No salt or pepper; only one roll of paper towels; no extra toilet paper; no dish clothes (dish towels, yes, but dish clothes, no). No dishwasher tablets; no dish soap. Plenty of dishes and good cookware. But bring everything else to cook a meal with you. Usually when we vrbo there's a bunch of kitchen stuff left from previous stays. Not at this place. And the cheapest paper towels and toilet paper. You really want to bring your own of those too. The pool has a leak at the filter (so the pool guy told us) and the water level dropped precipitously while we were there. To it's credit, the management company did send out a maintenance man on the July 4 holiday to replace the battery in the front door lock. The lock wasn't working correctly which was attributable to the battery running low and they came out right away and replaced it. Overall, it's a beautiful, large home that you will enjoy. Close to Disney too.

Not all it was cracked up to be

The property was clean and nice as a unit overall. It provided ample room/space for our large family with ability to separate. It was in a safe gated community. However, we had some concerns and big disappointments that really affected our stay. For instance, I had deliberately inquired about the pool heater before booking due to the reviews I had read and the extra $50 fee it required. I was assured that it had been repaired and the pool heater was working properly. However, the pool heater did not work upon arrival and we had to wait to use it for 2+ days before it was fixed. The garbage disposal and the gas grill also did not work. We made an incident report for the grill and no one came to fix it so we were not able to use this amenity. The game room (one of the advertised amenities that made this property appealing) was useless as there was only 1 dart for the dart board, no sand for the shuffleboard and the basketballs for the hoop game were flat and there was no way to inflate them. There was also not near enough hot water for everyone to shower/bathe. After 2 people had showered/bathed, there was no hot water for anyone else to use which was a great inconvenience. Although we did appreciate the amount of space and location, there were several amenities that were advertised and unable to be used at all or inadequately. We were advised by the property owner that these issues were basically insignificant as they have trouble with people stealing things which causes problems, but that they do not address the missing items for months as they do not live in the home but still advertise the amenity. Instructions and information about the inability to use the gas grill, arcade games or other things was not given to provide disclosure about them up front until i contacted the property owner after our stay. I believe property management could've been more helpful to the owner regarding such knowledge of issues and having these resolved for their patrons. We were however, given a refund for the pool heater fee.

Sorry to hear that you had some problems and Im happy that most of your stay was pleasant. I tried to explain that its very hard to keep some things updated. The maintenance and cleaners check the house after every guest but its hard for them to keep track of sand, darts and air in the balls. We always have all this at hand but sometimes guests "misplace"things. We have had everything from lamps, remotes, mirrors, chairs, baby cribs and so on disappear. Im really sorry about this as it effects other guests. Regarding pool heat you asked if it was fixed after previous feedback. We have a brand new pool heater so that problem was solved. When you were there it was a new problem and had nothing to do with previous problems. Regarding the grill it was the ignitor that was broken. Luckily there were both lighters and matches so this should not have been a problem. Regarding the hot water im not sure how 2 people can use up 60 gallons of water. This heater is brand new and works fine. This is a house and everything can happen. Things brake without warning and its impossible to guarantee that it wont happen. Management is available 24h for urgent matters. I will of course let them know and see if they can improve and help us faster in even the smallest matters. All of your problems are resolved now. Once again Im really sorry that you werent 100% satisfied. Sincerely Peter

Cuban Palm Rd Vacation Home: A Big Disappointment

My family and I rented the Cuban Palm Rd Vacation home in Kissimmee June 15th - June 21st, 2019. This property is managed by Florida Scandi Vacation Homes whom we found via VRBO. The house did not have hot water from the moment of arrival. The property management company was informed that the property did not have hot water upon our arrival 6/15/2019. Maintenance was sent to inspect the issue. The maintenance representative was not aware that the property was occupied and walked into the house without knocking and scaring my wife and children. When asked about who he was, he replied by saying that he thought the property was vacant. Upon inspection of the water heater, he confirmed that that water heater had a broken "element" and that he had inspected and reported the damage to Florida Scandi a week ago. He was surprised that it was not fixed and he would need to come back to repair it the following day. The next day the same gentleman showed up early to inspect and work on draining the unit for repairs. Our family had a planned beach excursion to attend and nothing was going to hold us back. The gentleman said he would come back later to inspect the water heater and replace the broken part. Fast forward that same day to 10 pm, we were welcomed by a note on the door that read: "Came back to work on the water heater and replaced the element. Unfortunately, the water heater is rusted and has sprung a leak making it impossible to use hot water. P.M. Will contact you regards to this matter (6/16/19 7:06p)". We contacted the number listed on the note asking for an immediate solution. Not much was offered but apologies for the inconvenience and to call the property management phone number in the morning. Reluctantly and without any other options, the whole family took cold showers. Inexcusably, we were now 24 hours without hot water in what was promised to be a high-quality property. Monday morning the property management was contacted and was informed of the issue. They informed us that the issue was under review and that if they could not fix the water heater they would need to relocate our family to another property. We were to call back Florida Scandi around 12 noon for an update. We agreed and continued on with planned activities for the day. 12 noon came around and the water heater was beyond repair. I found this to be the most inconvenient and disastrous experience that I have ever had while renting a vacation home

Im sorry to hear that it took so long before you got a replacement home but as i see it this was arranged the day after. I as an owner had to pay 1500 of my own money for a replacement home offered by our management. Again im truly sorry for this but as it is a real home and not a hotel with hundreds of other rooms available things like this can happen. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your vacation in the new house.
