Bienvenido a Holiday Haven, Evans Head. Esta casa adosada cuenta con un patio en el salón de planta abierta que luego conduce a una piscina enterrada bien mantenida, perfecta para las vacaciones familiares. Disfrute de poder estacionar el automóvil en SLUG y dar un paseo de 450 metros a tiendas, restaurantes, Bowling Club y hotel, mientras que el río Evans y el Club RSL están a unos 600 metros.

Evans Head es bien conocido por nuestro estilo de vida relajado con largas playas vírgenes, una gran cantidad de lugares de pesca, así como la pesca en aguas profundas en su puerta, un estuario del río que proporciona un lugar seguro para que los niños naden y playas para todos y sin olvidar el legendario surf break!

Evans Head tiene fantásticas áreas públicas de barbacoa, glorietas y áreas protegidas esparcidas por nuestra hermosa ciudad. Hay una pista para bicicletas que se extiende desde Airforce Beach hasta Shark Bay, una ruta para caminar hasta el mirador, acceso a la playa 4WD a Airforce Beach, piscina cubierta cubierta climatizada de 25 m, gimnasio, restaurantes, cafeterías, Bowling Club, Pub, RSL, tiendas de ropa, tiendas de surf, Químico, Carnicería, Panadería, Supermercado y más.

Convenience all round

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Haven. Convenient to main streets for food and for fishing spots. Beds in unit are really uncomfortable though. Mattresses hard and beds squeak. Having the pool straight outside the back gate was fantastic!! Also great to have the bbq. Overall we were really happy and would stay there again (hoping for more comfy beds).

Perfect spot excellent location

Appliances inside the property need to be updated for example dishwasher door didn’t close, bbq is rusty would not cook my food on it, Hot plates did not get very hot and oven didn’t heat up at all and no regular drinking glasses if these were fixed or replaced would recommend this property to family and friends. A clothes dryer would of been nice to dry linen and towels for when it rains.

The Unit is in a great spot but the owners need to spend some money. The main bed squeaks something shocking & the mattress needs to be replaced. Same goes with lounge & most of the kitchen utensils.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a nice stay, though there were a few things to note.The property is well-sized for four guests, but it might feel a bit cramped with six—especially as the dining table only seats four and the lounge seats five.Unfortunately, it rained for most of our stay, but we still made the most of it. There was a scheduled power outage on the Sunday, which wasn’t ideal, and we had to adjust our plans accordingly. It would have been appreciated if some form of compensation or gesture had been offered.The main issue was the cleanliness of the property. I’d recommend the host consider changing their cleaning service or speaking with them directly, as the standard wasn't quite what we expected. A bit more attention to detail would go a long way.That said, the location and overall setup were nice, and we did enjoy our time there.

Could be so much better

Unfortunately downstairs felt like a frat house with odd bits of furniture in poor condition. Kitchen was barely equipped & we had to purchase utensils for our stay. Downstairs really needs to be revisited, some simple items like a proper TV unit & a rug, clean lounges & basic kmart kitchen utensils will improve the look & feel of the place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Haven. The location was great & the house was spacious. The property was just like the photos. It had 3 toilets which was good. One downfall was that linen was not provided and did not say this as we only got an email about it less than 3 hours before check-in. Thankfully, Elders provided linen hire free of charge because of this. There was a BBQ, but no gas. One toilet was dirty when we entered. There was also no tea towel or dish cloth provided so we had to use the face washes from our linen pack. There was no soap provided for a shower so we had to buy some at the shops. There was not enough toilet paper either. Besides the few downfalls, we had a pleasant stay.

Holiday Haven rental

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was clean and location is great. The lounges are very low and uncomfortable. The floors on the top level are very squeaky. Overall tho a lovely unit. Be aware when dealing with Elders that they require a deposit on booking of $230.00 and within 7 days a further 50% of the balance payable for your accommodation. This equates to over 70% being paid within a week of booking. When you book year to year they effectively have your money for 12 months prior to you going on your holiday. Not happy with their handling of our booking at all but as other family members have units booked in the same complex but through another agency we have to agree to whatever Elders want.

My review

Accomodation was great! Area was peaceful, location was great. Only downfall was upstairs floorboards were extremely noisey, not very nice for downstairs people and toaster wasn’t in working order. As these were only minor I inconveniences I would highly recommend and will visit again.

Best value in town guaranteed

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay. So well set out and so spacious. We took our own sheets and towels, everything else you need was provided. Great location, great little beach town. Will definitely be staying there again, 5/5 for the friendly LJ Hooker service.
