The cottage was perfect for our needs - close to historic downtown with lots of restaurants and shops, and just down the road from a bigger shopping area. The place is beautifully decorated and our little dog had plenty of room to roam. Farmers market right across the street was a treat for Saturday mornings.

This cottage had everything we needed to explore the Summerville area. It was charming, clean, fully equipped and walkable to town. My husband could not have chosen a sweeter place for us to get away!

Don't get me wrong by some for some of the lower scores. The house is very lovely & extremely close to the downtown area. We walked everywhere. The reason for my complain was the the house itself was dirty & dusty. I mentioned this to the owner and she ask what time we would be gone so that she could come in to tidy up the place a bit. She said she could come over at 11:00 and I informed her that we wouldn't be ready by that time. Her comment was, "then I can't help you because I have a meeting and already had to reschedule it" She sounded as if I was bothering her & I was taken back by that. My son, who was staying with us, is asmenex & was having trouble breathing and ultimately ended up sleepy at his brother's house. Nobody should have to go through that & I won't be staying there again any time soon.

The cottage was everything I had hoped for and more!! The kitchen was well stocked. Our fur baby even enjoyed vacation. There were treats for him. He really enjoyed that. The location of the cottage was perfect. We could walk to shops, eating places and coffee shops. Kim was the best!!! We will be back Kim!!! Absolutely loved our stay at this cottage and did not want to leave. The host was so sweet and accommodating from start to finish. The cottage was decorated adorably and felt super cozy for us and our small dog. The location was perfect and just a few steps from downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. 100% would stay again.

Kim and Mike were very welcoming and the cottage was beautiful. It had all the amenities that you would need and beautifully decorated. The location in historic Summerville is ideal and you can walk to many restaurants and shops etc. We will definitely going back!

This property truly felt like a home away from home. The cleanliness was excellent—everything was well cared for and exactly as pictured in the listing. It’s always a relief when a property matches what you expect, and this one absolutely delivered.The host was wonderful to work with—very accommodating, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. My daughter recently had her first baby. I was looking for a place close by and pet friendly. 8 miles this lovely cottage was from my daughter's home. I was able to work, deliver foods and see new grandson almost daily.My beautiful days would start with a long walk on the tree lined bike/dog path. Path is right in front of house. Walk to Azalea Park and through town, listening to church bells ringing. In front of house make a left and you are in the middle of downtown. Beautiful.The Farmer's Market is literally out your front door. Go early for the blueberries and strawberries. The kettle corn cooking is a delight to smell. The Italian bakery, Taluccis makes a turkey sandwich on a homemade croissant the size of a football. Bakery sweets and teas are all made right there. The Eclectic Chef has a great chicken salad. I want to also recommend Madres on the corner. Unfortunately, they do not have a bar and the front is closed up. Inside we have a lovey meal and drinks, too bad they don't open the front. Good food. Sweetwater One Twenty Three has a small outdoor bar. Next door Montreux Bar & Grill have outdoor bands and charge a cover. Sit at Sweetwater and enjoy music. Accent on Wine, very nice people. Take out fresh pastas and sauces. Weekly wine tastings.Free parking garage right in the middle of town. Nice security presence. Haven't even told you how adorable and well-appointed the house and property are. I stayed a MONTH.

This is the cutest place with the best location! My mother and I came to visit my brother and explore South Carolina. We were so happy with our stay! The hosts were friendly and informative. The location was great and was an easy drive to Charleston, the beach, and near by historical places. I highly recommend this place!
