Cabaña del lago cormorán superior vintage con pontón

Cabaña rústica del cormorán superior con gran atractivo "hacia el norte". Lote de 50 pies con excelente natación y hermosas vistas orientadas al sur. La propiedad cuenta con una casa de botes en el borde del agua con taburetes y mesa de bar, además de numerosos juguetes acuáticos y mesa de limpieza de peces. El alquiler incluye un pontón de 19 pies con motor de 40 caballos de fuerza. Cabina con capacidad para 4 a 8 personas. Dos habitaciones en el nivel principal y 2 lofts más pequeños. Tenemos 1 cama queen y 1 cama matrimonial en el nivel principal. En un loft hay un colchón de tamaño completo y en el otro loft tenemos un colchón doble. También tenemos un colchón inflable Queen si es necesario y un futón en el nivel principal que puede dormir dos más.

Tenemos un televisor de pantalla plana con canales de 4 pbs y también el canal 10 (zorro). Tenemos una mano llena de DVD, algunos libros y algunos juegos de cartas / cartas. La cocina cuenta con platos, cubiertos, pequeña impresora / escáner, cuencos, tazas, microondas, horno y nevera grande. También tenemos una parrilla en el patio / terraza junto al lago. Los otros 3 lagos a los que se puede acceder incluyen Middle Cormorant, Nelson Lake y Rossman Lake (Rossman solo a través de un pequeño bote de pesca de 14 'o menos).

Cabin was lovely and cozy with a beautiful view of the lake right outside. Directions that were provided were very much needed as google maps did not bring to right address.

Was perfect for what we needed. Nice area and very queit. Would recommend getting a new grill or cleaning the burners. Took forever to heat up and cook the food. No complaints otherwise!

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this cozy lake cabin. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The lake views were beautiful and made for the perfect relaxing getaway. Being able to rent the pontoon was a bonus. Shannon was responsive, helpful and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lake, great outdoors space right next to the lake, bonus to able to rent the pontoon (it needs some work), air conditioning doesn’t work well and is noisy, needed to use noisy fans and still hot and uncomfortable, down stairs beds are good, loft needs safety rails. Didn’t feel safe climbing up and down steep ladder to loft (no rails or safety handles). It was difficult sleeping in the heat and noise. Otherwise, the host seemed very nice. The cabin has a nice size table, very comfortable couches, and soft rug. The cabin has lots of positives. Very clean full size fridge and microwave, outdoor grill on back deck looking at the lake, nice size table and picnic table. We really enjoyed the fire pit by the lake, amazing view!

Excellent trip

This was our second time at the cabin, and have enjoyed both trips. The last trip was 5 years ago and when we asked our girls where we should take our summer trip, they wanted to come back. Between the paddle boat, kayak, hanging out in the boat house, pontoon, and just enjoying the lake; everyone had a great time. Neighbors were friendly and we caught some fish off the dock. Shannon was very responsive if we had any questions and made sure we were happy with our stay.

Back to MN!

I grew up coming to my grandparents cabin on Upper Cormorant, so I was thrilled to be able to stay in a cabin on this lake. Use of the pontoon was fabulous, and we used it to visit my family across the lake. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and worked great for our 3 days on the lake. Just to note, the "bedrooms" downstairs are not fully enclosed. The walls are ~6 feet tall. This was not an issue for us, but you can see down into the rooms while climbing the ladders to the loft, and you can hear everything.

Relaxing summer vacation

Family Vacation

We had a fun family vacation. Our granddaughter thought it was cool that she could kayak with us on the kids kayak that was available to use. We all enjoyed fishing on the pontoon available to rent. We had good weather and the fish were biting. It was nice get away with our family. Shannon was always available if we had any questions. Thanks for a fun family getaway.

Family friendly fun

This was our 2nd time staying. We love the location as it's not a busy area. Great fishing. Lake was too cold for swimming this time but we enjoyed many pontoon rides. We overpacked as the cabin has most of the things you need! Easy communication with owner. Definitely recommend.

Visiting Family

We booked this property to visit some family in the area over the holiday. My kids loved the lofts and had the time of their lives on the kayak, fishing from the pontoon, soaking up the sun, and making smores. Renters should be aware that the two bedrooms on the main floor do not have ceilings and can be viewed from the lofts. Not a problem for our family but it could be an issue for those who need more privacy. Overall, we loved our stay and it brought back wonderful memories of my childhood experiences growing up in the area. Thanks Shannon, you were a great host!

Authentic Lake Cabin

It's a wonderful place that shows off the beauty that the builders saw when they decided to build there with all the comforts of home. Large screen TV, full kitchen and a large, for a cabin, hot water heater! Warm showers! Hot coffee looking out the lakeside window in the morning watching the mist clear off the lake was perfect. Great times!

Fun time at rustic cabin

This is a really fun place to stay if you like a rustic time on the lake. The cabin is very well kept and stocked. We love being able to use the pontoon to cruise around the lake. The lake is very nice for boating and swimming. The firepit is close to the water and is one of the premiers of staying at this cabin. This is perfect for a small family. The check in and check out process was flawless.

Week at the Lake

While the cabin is rustic - and it’s a cabin - the fishing was great. Caught some great fish off the dock. While the pontoon wasn’t working, the property owner rented us a pontoon from the neighboring resort for our use. We are familiar with the area so enjoyed golfing and shopping in Perham and Detroit Lakes.

Hello! My name is Shannon Olson. Currently I live in Hawley, MN with my two teenage children. I teach Family and Consumer Science at Hawley High School, and I coach volleyball in the fall. I stay busy throughout the school year with work, attending school athletic events, and cheering my kids on at their activities. During the summer, I love spending time in the lakes area, running, taking care of my yard, reading, and playing volleyball.
I love being a host because it's so fun to share this cabin with others and hear about the memories they make at my place.

This property is a True Minnesota Lake Cabin. Great rustic feel with some modern benefits. The acreage of fishable water is amazing.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This cabin is the perfect place to relax and unplug. Kids love the lofts and all the extra games and toys available. Outside, there is a nice yard, firepit, and boathouse. The boathouse is stocked with water toys, firewood, roasting sticks, a bar, extra fishing rods, a fish cleaning station, and even a Smart TV! A pontoon is also available for additional rental.
If you want to venture out, there are some fun things to explore. By boat or by foot, you can reach The End of the Road Resort. They sell bait, treats and are a great resource to have nearby. You can also reach Middle Cormorant lake by boat. They have a great swimming beach, as well as "Sauce'd" bar and grill.
