Great stay for a beach getaway!

We went to orange beach for the OWA tropical falls waterpark. Our stay here was only a 12 min drive there. Condo was clean and perfect for our family. Right on the beach with indoor pool and hot tub. Will definitely revisit.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

I would give 0 stars for cleanliness if I could. I booked a vacation at this spot for me and my family, hoping for a nice break from work to relax and enjoy ourselves. Upon arrival, everything seemed fine. We have a daughter that is almost a year old, we put her on the floor for her to crawl around and within 10 minutes, we picked her up and noticed her legs were so dirty they were black. So we got a wet rag and wiped over the floor with it, and it was clear the place had not been cleaned for a long time. We then started noticing other areas around the condo that were also dirty. Spider webs were around the sprinklers and dust was resting on the walls. We had to go purchase our own cleaning supplies to clean up. After mopping, we let our daughter back on the floor to play. She pushed one of her toy balls under the sofa, and as she reached under the sofa to get it back, she pulled out a dirty pair of underwear that had not been picked up from the last visit. The situation was handled very poorly by the staff on top of that. I highly do not recommend this place. Stay away from this place and southern vacation rentals.

Perfect beach location

Quiet, tranquil unit with partial view of water. Easy beach access ; just a short walk. Close to lots of amenities. Would stay again.

Long weekend beach trip

Clean and no issues with anything in the condo. This is the second time we have stayed here. It is quiet and the beach is right out the door. Good location to have a relaxing vacation.

Family vacation

Property was right on the beach. They had BBQ grills set up with sitting area that was nice for stay in eating. Close drive to restaurants if you want to do something else. Nice little kitchen with what you need to fix meals. Good communication with the property owners.

Great weekend!

We really enjoyed the condo and location! My only complaint is it desperately needed to be mopped (my two year old’s feet were black in the first 2 hours)! Overall it was still a great stay!

The property was really nice. Recently renovated seems like. The floors were a little dirty but it’s the beach so it’s hard to keep those super clean. Just make sure u bring slides. Other than that the room was really clean and cute. Make sure to bring clothes detergent, soap, hair dryer, and shampoo and conditioner. They provide soap but it’s not the best lol. Also bring extra toilet paper as they only provide one roll in each bathroom. Great location though right on the beach.

Good Overall

Unit itself was good, newly updated. Building is old, smelly and dingy. Minor updates to the unit needed such as towel racks for hand towels and bath towels, fix the screen and patio door, and fix the washer (it pools water on floor with large load). Mattresses were serviceable. Communication before and during stay was good. Access to the beach is great which is what we were there for! Pool is good too. Good vacation.

Good Value

Easy to contact rental company, they were very timely with responses. Parking permits are in the cabinet above the microwave. The sliding door to the patio was difficult to open, even for my husband. There were plenty of linens for the condo. There is nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom, which I thought was a little weird. Good location though. Pool area is very small. Overall cleanliness of the condo was good.

Bad 40th anniversary

Apparently they was working on the building that we were staying in and they were also working on the building next-door it was horrible we were on our anniversary for our 40th wedding anniversary and all we heard was machines banging and all kinds of noise I paid to be on the beach front looking at the ocean and I was on the parking deck looking at the cars so no ma’am I am not very happy I also have pictures if you would like to see them of the noise and ever time we I walked out on my patio. So now I don’t think I would request anybody to stay there for now unless you like the sound of big trucks dumping big dumpsters right next to your bedroom Mrs Tatum

Harbor Place Condo 202

The condo was for the most part clean. We had trouble getting the code to take in the lock. I texted the management company and never heard anything from them regarding the code / lock. My husband figured it out and we got in. There were not any extra blankets in the condo due to COVID. When I complained I was told it’s on your customer portal. I wasn’t given the portal until the day we checked in, and I was already in AL at that time. Too late to bring my own blankets. I did go to the portal to read that the only exception to that would be blankets for pull out couches. My sister was sleeping on the pull out couch. She had to use a beach towel to cover up with because the management company would not bring any to us until the next day. The management company is a joke. It is Southern Vacation Rentals. They advise you to text them, but don’t answer back, and if you call the number for immediate response you are out on hold for 10 or more minutes. I finally hung up. I told them about a chair in the condo that was broken several times. As of this morning when we checked out it had not been fixed. One thing I learned from this experience is that I will never rent another condo / cabin / house that has a management company as the contact. I ask to get in touch with the owner of our co do and they denied that request.

1. No place to keep your groceries, paper plates, coffee, any products we brought in except the island... no shelves. 2. No place to hang towels not even a face towel ring or rack. 3. Floors were very dirty, you couldn’t walk on the floor without your feet turning black from sticky dirt. 4. Bed was very hard, very hard... 5. No hangers for clothes, no place to sit your luggage (had to use the bar stools) 6. Sliding glass door couldn’t be locked to protect our valuables....

The room was really good. Our only issue was that the floor was so dirty. You couldn’t walk around the room without shoes on, or your feet would be black.
