Ubicado a orillas del arroyo Gerringong en la prístina zona del río Upper Kangaroo, Nellsville Cottage es el destino perfecto para su próxima escapada de fin de semana.

Originalmente construido en 1950 Nellsville Cottage ha sido renovado con buen gusto para ofrecer una combinación única de comodidades modernas y el encanto del viejo mundo.

Rodeada de exuberantes terrenos agrícolas, la propiedad tiene maravillosas vistas de las montañas y escarpes cercanos y desde la cubierta trasera completa con barbacoa puedes escuchar los sonidos del meandro de Gerringong Creek. ¿Por qué no pasear por el arroyo para nadar o almorzar en un picnic y disfrutar de los alrededores? Hay fácil acceso a Gerringong Creek desde la propiedad.

La casa tiene 3 dormitorios y 2 baños, que incluyen una lujosa bañera de hidromasaje en el dormitorio principal con baño. El área abierta de sala / comedor / cocina es perfecta para entretener o cocinar una tormenta en la cocina totalmente equipada y, en una tarde fría, puede acurrucarse frente a la chimenea de combustión lenta.

Perfect Country Retreat

This property has gorgeous country views of rolling hills and cows grazing , very peaceful . The house clean , welcoming and well equipped . We spent a weekend here with our family , everyone loved it . An ideal location just to unwind and relax .

Such a great property, good natural light, beautiful surrounds. The hosts, Les and Elizabeth, were very hospitable & helpful. Loved waking up in the countryside with the morning mist and the sound of the cows mooing. Best sleep I’ve had in months!

Kangaroo valley relaxing

Delightful cottage. Internally, all you need with all options catered for with comfortable bedrooms, fantastic kitchen with generous cooking utensils, coffee machine bonus with pods supplied and stove top/oven ease of use. Even a gorgeous breaky hamper of eggs, cereal and fresh eggs. Fireplace and a/c meets any comfort needs. Just bring your food. Outside, your immersed in the delights of Kangaroo Valley landscape and birdlife. Highly recommend this cottage stay.

Away from it all

Couldn't ask for a better country escape. Beautifully revovated property with everything you could want. Clean and welcoming. Sitting on the deck listening to the creek was so relaxing and at night when it turns cold the fire awaits. Hope to come back one day.

Great Experience

We absolutely enjoyed the stay. The location was quite nice. From the photos it looks there is no property nearby - however there is another residence right next door (still property had the required privacy). It was a very hot day and was a very nice gesture to have air conditioning turned on before we checked in. In the photo it appears creek runs within the property not the case but still very close. Kids absolutely loved the house, plenty of board games, feeding chickens, watching cows around and playing in the creek. The property was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the opportunity of limited connectivity inside the house provided with no botheration from calls/emails etc. (The Telstra mobile had some coverage outside the house). Overall it was a very positive experience!!

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

Nellsville is a peaceful patch of paradise. The place was spotless and very homely with all the amenities you need, plus more. The fireplace and spa were real selling points for us and they did not disappoint. We didn’t realise when we booked that there would be a house right next door however you quickly forget that there is anyone nearby with the beautiful private paddock view from the deck. Limited internet access however this didn’t bother us. We will definitely return.

Absolutely unbeatable.

My wife said that she would like to pick up the house and transport that back home! The perfect design with everything that's needed, furnished. Had the opportunity to meet the owners and they provided some useful information about the area. This was a stunning setting and the house complemented it perfectly. A 10 out of 10 experience all round.

Exceeded all expectations!

The property and views from the house are completely stunning. And a quick drive into town for supplies or a lovely bite to eat. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Lots of space for the 4 of us and very quiet/peaceful. Kitchen is well appointed, we enjoyed cooking together there. Fantastic patio to bird watch (sweet kookaburra pair hang out) and take in the scenery and the cows grazing on the hillside. Our hosts were absolutely lovely. We had all the privacy we were looking for but with tips and information just a quick wave and a smile away when we needed it. We would come back to this property over and over if we lived in Australia!

Perfect Weekend Away

Great Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nellsville cottage. The house has been tastefully renovated and is very comfortable with lovely bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen.The property is just beautiful with cows grazing and plenty of lovely walks to go on. The combustion fire in the living room added to the cosy, relaxing ambience of the place. We loved every moment of our stay. It is the perfect place to relax and recharge. We will definitely be back!

The perfect escape!

Nellsville Cottage was just what our family needed to relax and switch off! The house was welcoming, comfortable and with all of the luxuries you could need (like a spa bath, heated floor tiles, fire place and coffee machine!) The picturesque surrounds and peace and quiet make it the perfect retreat. Thank you!

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed Nellsville Cottage, nestled a few km's out of town the house is as beautifully the surrounds. Everything you want in a getaway. Nice area to walk around and see the rivers, creeks and farms. Would definitely return! My tip would be to stock up on what you need before heading to the property and you won't have to leave.

Excellent Cottage & great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nellsville Cottage. The cottage was very clean and the king size beds were very comfortable. The owners were also thoughtful supplying us with plenty of coffee, tea, sugar and a variety of other small useful items. There is also beautiful walks to go on from the cottage. The outdoor furniture was great to have a snooze and you can hear the sound of the running creek in the background - only a 5 minute walk from the cottage . We went on a few walks and my son went horse riding with the Man from Kangaroo Valley - he loved it. We met the owners and they were lovely and happy to help and assist. One thing to keep in mind though - no service , so no phone at Nellsville Cottage so, let family know ! Definitely recommend the cottage and would be more than happy to go back there .

Scenic/peaceful location, very well appointed home

Our family of four, including son (6yrs) and daughter (3yrs) had a very lovely and relaxing 10 days at Nellsville Cottage. It was such a lovely way to see in the New Year, in a peaceful and private setting nestled into nature. The location is secluded but accessible, town is a short 10min drive away or a very scenic bike ride on sealed roads. The children had many adventures riding bikes, playing with the resident chickens and mooing at the cows. There are endless creeks, causeways, swimming holes and suspension bridges to discover...all within walking/bike riding distance of the property. Nellsville Cottage is extremely well appointed, with a fully stocked kitchen. It is the most generously stocked holiday house we have stayed at and was also very clean on arrival. There were so many nice touches, from practical things such as the giant roll of Chux wipes to the 13 boxes of different types of coffee pods! The lovely owners are close by to help with anything that's needed but by no means intrusive, the privacy of the cottage is fantastic and you see nothing but views, birds and a lovely garden from the back verandah. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nellsville Cottage and will definitely be back.

Brilliant property, super spot

We had an absolutely brilliant stay. The location is fantastic and the house itself is very thoughtfully equipped and comfortable. A couple of minor niggles like the light in one of the bathrooms didn't work but the owners provided a torch as backup. Also the main aircon does need some figuring out to get the heating to work. These are very insignificant though compared to how lovely the property is. Definitely coming back!
