Acogedor apartamento de 2-3 camas en un chalet de dos familias. 59m2 en dos plantas. En la planta baja: cocina, baño, sala de estar con chimenea (leña incluida) y salida a la terraza. Planta superior: ducha, dormitorio con lavabo, y un pequeño balcón con vistas panorámicas. En el dormitorio, cama supletoria. Otra cama supletoria se puede hacer en la sala de estar (sofá cama).

15 minutos a pie del centro del pueblo, a 5 minutos de la estación de tren y la razón Maennlichenbahn, todos los accesos año con el aparcamiento. Cuna disponible. Barbacoa y asientos. Local de esquí.

Great stay

The property was clean, spacious, and the location and view were fabulous. It had everything we needed for our four night stay. Markus was a great host, and communicator. We highly recommend this space.

Grindelwald: My new favorite place in the world!!

Whenever we would message Marcus, both before and during the trip, he would respond within the hour (many times even sooner). When we arrived, he walked us through every detail of the house, gave us some tourist tips, and even gave us a bus pass. When you look at the picture online, you think "there's no way this view looks like this" - it actually DOES and EVEN MORE! There's cow bells ringing in the distance and the sound of the rushing river below your bedroom. The back porch for wine and watching the sunset is a must. Don't be deterred that the train station is right below the house - the trains are extremely quiet and we never even noticed! We rarely took the bus - enjoyed the walk into town each evening. We even got in the habit of getting groceries at the Coop (also within walking distance) and eating at the little table in the backyard. Marcus's family's home is a MUST if you're planning on staying in Grindelwald. Get out of the downtown touristy area and stay here!!! It's AMAZING!! We will definitely be back!!

Awesome Grindelwald Chalet

Right from the very start fromMarkus meeting us as we walked up to his wonderful chalet, everything was just perfect! A cozy 2 story chalet right in the mountain valley with gorgeous views. Balcony off the master and a real wood fireplace with wood provided made our stay just perfect! Thank you Markus! We will be back!

Charming, conveniently located Grindelwald property.

We spent 4 nights at this property that sits below Mt Eiger and just above Grindelwald Grund train station. Easy to walk or ride a bus to Grindelwald for shops and eating establishments. We would relax in the backyard in the mornings and late afternoons while taking in unbelievable and magnificent Mountain Views. A great base station for adventure. We drove to Grindelwald and never used the car, next time we will use trains to travel there.

Amazing views, close to bus stop, comfortable bed

We loved our stay. Communication with Marcus with fast and efficient. We had everything we needed. The accommodations where modern and clean. The neighborhood was quiet except the train bells can be heard at night if the windows are open. No issues if the windows are closed.

Me and my friend stayed here for a couple nights in late May and we had a great stay. The place was perfect and had beautiful views. I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends!

We stayed 24 nights in this apartment, and it really worked perfectly for us. We wanted to hike a lot, and the location of this place is ideal...near train, bus, and cable car stations. The kitchen is beautifully equipped. It has everything we needed to cook meals. We knew when we booked it that the layout was a little funky. The toilet, sink, and shower are all in different places of the apartment. But it worked just fine for us. The outdoor space is great....fabulous views of Mount Eiger. We appreciated that the apartment was spotless! The washer and dryer is shared with the owner and his two teenage sons. It was a tiny bit tricky to find times to do laundry, but certainly not a big deal. We loved every minute of our stay here, and in the Grindelwald area. We would definitely recommend this darling apartment!

Amazing views in cozy location

The views really are amazing and as a property that is offset to the back, there is even more privacy. The unit is great for two people (4 would be crammed). Truly walking distance to the main cable car and just a 20 min walk to the center of Grindelwald. Laundry machine is shared with the second unit in the building which is seemingly occupied full time by owners family members, but they are very nice and accommodating.

Skiferien

Nachdem wir Busverbindungen und Fusswege gefunden haben sehr guter Standort der Wohnung. Wir haben uns vorgängig zu wenig darum gekümmert. Haben uns auch bei den Vermietern nicht erkundigt. Vermieterfamilie sehr sympathisch. Wenn alles wieder stimmt, nächstes Jahr sehr gerne wieder.

L’appartement est excellent, il y’a tout d’on a besoin, la vue vers la montagne est magnifique, le lit est très confortable. Les propriétaires sont très sympa. Pas très loin du centre, il y’a bus, train, piscine à proximité de la maison. Je retournerai avec plaisir dans cette appartement et je le recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Snowy Grindelwald

We have just returned from spending 8 nights here and loved it! The chalet was clean and cozy and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The fire was a real bonus and was ideal for the snowy weather as it made the chalet even cosier. Our favourite place was sitting out on the bedroom balcony wrapped in a blanket having morning coffee, looking at the amazing views 😍, it was like a Christmas card and possibly the best view we have ever had! Grindelwald is absolutely stunning and we found plenty of walks with the most amazing scenery and the snow made it more beautiful. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this property and we would love to return one day. Thanks for your hospitality Mandy & Markus

cozy apartment in a beautiful location

We recently spent 3 nights here and had a wonderful stay! Communication with the hosts was great and the apartment is comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. The bed in the main bedroom was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on! Tip to other travelers: The 123 bus just outside of the main train station will take you to just down the street from the apartment. It's also an easy downhill 15-minute walk if your luggage isn't too heavy.

Most beautiful place I have ever stayed.

From reservation to check out Marcus made the process so easy. Very accommodating and sweet. The apt is cozy and sits in the middle of such a beautiful setting. I wished we could have stayed longer. Would recommend this property who wants to stay in Grindelwald.

Gorgeous Chalet in Grindelwald

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and the place was perfect. There is an adorable kitchen, living room, and perfectly sized bedroom for two people. The location was very convenient (5 minute walk) to the Grindelwald Grund train station where you can travel to a multitude of places from. We went up and did the Eiger Trail and it was unbelievable. When we arrived, we met with Mandy and she was so helpful and kind! You can tell that Mandy and Markus really care about making sure your stay is comfortable and the chalet is clean and tidy. I'd 100% recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Grindelwald.

Clean, spacious apartment with stunning views and close to transport and attractions.

This Grindelwald chalet was a pleasure to stay in. There is a bus stop in front (Marcus provided a free bus pass) that conveniently took us into town for accessing attractions. The chalet itself was clean and spacious, had a functioning proper kitchen and was very comfortable to stay in. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Grindelwald. Thanks Marcus and his family for the hospitality.
