Great location, older style property but well presented. Equipped with everything to keep one amused for 2 days. Pool table and even darts got a go. Great spot highly recommend it and will be making a return stay.

Bottom room was great for the teenagers. Just needs a bit of money spent on it to freshen it up. Overall it was a great weekend, close to river and ocean.

Also viewed whales, further out. Perfect in winter! Loved our stay, would definitely stay here again. Only negative was having bathroom, toilet beside the kitchen. Easy walks along beach and walking path along the river. Short walk to lovely coffee shop and the bowls.We also enjoyed the game room with pool table.

Reviewer Comments: Great view it said in the bookings that there was two toilets there was but one was out of order which I was very disappointed in as we had 4 people staying and if someone was in the bathroom you could not use the other toilet cleanliness a lot off spider weds and the mattresses where pretty bad for stains

Damp riddled home

This property shouldn’t be rented out. It has a huge, huge damp problem. The downstairs section is unbearable and the upstairs section isn’t much better. It’s clear the property managers never go to this place, as they would never have rented it out if they did. You can smell the damp the moment you walk in. They were accomodating enough and relocated us. Disappointing as we wanted To stay in a home on the beach for a week. I pretty much took whatever I could after just to escape it. After 2 days it was difficult to see anyone staying there any further. I’m only writing this in hope that it’s not rented out to another family who had to got through what we did there. You can’t fix a major, major damp issue.

Absolutely incredible views, We saw shooting stars on the beach at night and had beautiful morning breakfasts with a view, One of our favorite things was the outdoor bath, we would drink cocktails and watch the sun go down in it! One thing I would recommend is replacing the bunk bed as it is loud and unsteady but besides that we loved the house! We have stayed before and adored the new surfboard news board. Would definately recommend the spot to family and friends! Thank you for having us and letting us stay the extra night!

Disappointing

My husband and I booked for 12 days at the Beach Holiday House and we were quite disappointed in our accommodation. The view was fantastic and worth every cent however the cockroaches that were dead from the recent bombing about a week or so before we arrived were all over the floor downstairs. I see a review dated over a year ago from another guest requesting a clothes line has gone unheard as there is still no clothesline or ever rope for this. Towards the end of our stay the weather turned bad and the rotten window frames and uneven sliding windows made for a very damp uncomfortable stay which we cut short by 5 days and left. These houses are expensive and I would expect at least a comfortable stay. We have stayed in Wooli and 2 other houses and enjoyed our stay immensely - this is our first bad experience and I am so sad as we are now thinking twice about returning.

i found the house to be very comfortable indeed good kitchen comfy lounge comfy beds and you can hear the surf my only complaint they need to get a portaline or folded clothesline in the outside so clothes can dry in minutes. property manager said she would tell the owner so im sure they will amend that but great place i highpy recommend to family or couples

Lovely house

Great beach house. Right on the beach with undivided ocean views. Well set up for kids with play area including toys, games, books and DVDs. 4 good bedrooms. New kitchen and all necessary appliances. Nice bathroom, no bath inside but lovely big bath outside. Games area downstairs. Good location. Would recommend and will likely stay here again. Double beds a little lacking in comfort and we had issues with mozzies at night as house was not screened fully.
