Nueva casa de 2 pisos que cuenta con pisos de madera en todo el nivel superior. Cocina completa con plano de planta abierto para sala de estar y barra de desayuno. Frente porche que ofrece hermosas vistas a la montaña de largo alcance. Lavadero con lavadora y secadora nuevas de gran capacidad. El nivel inferior contiene un gran espacio (segunda sala de estar, ver fotos). Todos los azulejos en el nivel inferior con gran baño completo. Casa muy comoda. *** Tenemos propósitos de seguridad dentro de la cámara de seguridad solo porque no vivimos aquí a tiempo completo. Cuando lleguemos le pedimos que cubra la cámara con un bol.

This home is lovely and very well stocked. It is way off the road and I would not recommend driving your low riding sports car if you choose to stay here. Take an SUV. Other than that, quiet and relaxing

Amazing mountaintop hideaway

The house is great! Very clear instructions from the property manager on what and how to do things. Very spacious, comfortable bedding, and nicely stocked essentials for your stay. The view is AMAZING from the front porch. Only "down side" is getting to the property. It is a gravel road. It's in pretty good shape, but wasn't expected. Very well worth the cost for a nice getaway.

Pretty View of Blowing Rock

A nice house at the end of a steep or rutted dirt road with a beautiful view of Blowing Rock but not close to Bowing Rock. The house is spacious but could do with a little care like screen repairs and light bulb replacements. I must have missed when selecting this VRBO their requirement to turn on the water and water heater and then turn them off and drain the water upon leaving, so that was a little awkward. As was the requirement of removing all garbage from the property. They provided the location of the county convenience station in Connelly Springs for drop off but we luckily had family in the area to drop our garbage off at.

Thanksgiving Holiday

House is exactly as pictured. Amazing views!!! Communication with host was quick, a couple of minor hiccups upon arrival and quickly rectified by host. Directions to house a bit wonky with GPS. I recommend making sure you arrive during daylight hours. Take the right fork( not easily seen)before you see the last house. Once up to the house... piece of cake. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Kitchen was well appointed. No toaster, but the MAC DADDY of air fryers!!!!! We ended up buying one upon returning home. 5stars all around except for the 4 for cleanliness. A good spring cleaning ( every house needs one) would turn to a 5. Would recommend and would stay again.

Disappointed

There were a number of issues with this house. The first thing I reported to the host was a broken window, and the only response was that she was aware of it. After that, we discovered the lock on the bedroom sliding door didn't work, so we didn't feel safe in the house. The house wasn't clean. There was cat hair, a dog bone under the couch, stained bedspreads, dirty floors, spider webs everywhere, etc. We even had to wash the towels because they smelled bad. There were also multiple window screens that were torn. As for the check in/out instructions... Among other things, we were responsible for turning the water on and off, and take our trash to another location at check out. This should've been on the listing itself because I wouldn't have chosen this house if I knew this in advance. If I'm paying to stay at a home, and paying cleaning fees on top of that, it's expected that the house is ready to use when I arrive. And I shouldn't have to put bags of trash in my car to drive it somewhere else. It's really too bad, because the house and the property were really nice and I hate to leave bad reviews, but this was ridiculous.I reached out to the host on April 19 with a list of all the issues and requested a refund. There has been no response.

Noemi we did respond to your message you just didn’t like the response if you would have told about those issues (other than the window which come on it was one window there are like 7others that worked it the same room) we could have definitely got our cleaner out there to fix the situation. The door in the master bedroom is on the second floor you really thought someone would take a ladder climb up and come in the house?? It does work you just have to put muscle into it and again if you would have said something right away we could walked you through it. And if is is so troubling to turn a handle and flip a breaker you should really consider staying in a hotel where everything is taken care of. The screens are like that because of the birds we don’t live there full time and we are not replacing them because they keep getting destroyed which again why did that bother you?? You were on vacation with your family enjoying them and all you seemed to do was complain. I am find with complaints but you have to give the host an opportunity to make it right and after the fact when you and your family stayed there is not the time to ask for a refund.

Very nice home!

Very nice home ... a bit tricky to find using Google Maps (in the dark), but the owner answered the phone right away! The neighboring house (which you can't see from the rental) looks a bit sketchy, but the people there very nice. Great internet. Beds are super comfortable. My only suggestion would be if you have a favorite knife or non-stick frying pan to bring it with you. They have great pots, though! Overall a great deal!!!!

Long Stay

Our stay was lovely. We stayed here while our home was being remodeled, and it is absolutely beautiful. The view from the front porch is amazing. There was quite a bit of hair and dirt on the floors when we arrived, but the owners are very nice and accommodating. There are not a lot of linens, so if you are a large family I'd recommend bringing extra. There are adorable dogs that live in the neighborhood and they are very friendly.

The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. The view of the mountains was spectacular! The owner communicated well with us and assisted with all questions and needs. We had an AMAZING time. I highly recommend this property.

This was the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. The host was fantastic and the views were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s really beautiful and surprisingly close to everything in town, but very quiet and serene. Best of both worlds. Can’t wait to come back!

Lenoir home

The owners were very responsive and great to work with. The home is in Lenoir so don’t expect to be in the mountains just because VRBO has it listed when you search for Boone, NC. On the side road and driveway to the home you have to drive past a few less desirable properties but nobody every came up the driveway or disturbed us. You do have a feeling of being excluded which we like and you can see the mountains in the distance from the front of the home. Although the property outside of the yard isn’t owned by the this property owner, the location does offer the ability to walk for miles through the woods. My daughter and I walked for a couple hours each day through the woods and loved it. There’s lots of room for a large family and we especially liked the creative way the ping pong net is used in the kitchen table. We had a lot of fun with that. We couldn’t figure out the tv’s so we spent a lot of time doing other things which was great. This would be an ideal location when it snows because the roads and driveway aren’t dangerous and it would allow for a beautiful view.

This is a very nice property with amazing views. The roads leading directly to the property can be challenging as they are not paved but are passable. Overall would be more than happy to stay again.

Lovely home, lovely owner

My family and I booked a 4 night trip to Lenoir and stayed in this lovely home. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was in immaculate condition when we arrived. Getting to the house was a bit tricky, but Christine answered promptly when I reached out because we were having trouble finding the house. Christine was very accommodating throughout our entire stay. The only issue at all was that the AC seemed to have some problems, but when I made the owners aware they apologized and said they would have it looked at. Overall, we had an amazing time and would not hesitate one bit to stay here again 😊

My husband(Rex) and I(Christine) have been happily married for 34 years. Our children are grown. We love vacationing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. We decided to purchase a home so we can enjoy NC a bit more. We put our home on VRBO so we can share our vacation home with other families so they can make lasting memories as we have done in the past.

We found this home and fell in love with this property. It has the feel of being in the mountains yet we are a short drive to the grocery stores, restaurants and shopping.. We also love the fact that we are a short drive to Blowing Rock which is one our favorite spots in NC. It is also close to Hickory(which has all major restaurants and stores), Boone, and a few ski resorts.

This property is situated on a acre lot that is sloping in the front, but is flat in the back which is perfect for kids to run around and play.
