Better than the photos! Close to the pool. Loreto Bay complex is safe and beautiful. Other guests were so nice. Owner great communicator. Even had a kettle for this Canadian to brew her tea. We will be back!

Our condo was beautiful but.. the owner definitely needs to upgrade his water heater. In our 10 days we each had 1 hot shower, 1 freezing cold shower and 3 barely tepid showers. The property manager fixed it the first call and that was our hot shower. Then the second call resulted in the tepid ones. I didn’t want to keep calling so we just lived with it!

Beautiful condo located near the community pool in Nopolo.

We were there in June so we enjoyed lots of peace and quiet. It was just starting to get really hot but the AC units in bedrooms and main room work great. Really nice outdoor BBQ grill and tables for dining on 2 upper patios. The only negative thing is that we booked this unit because the blue dot for VRBO location made it look like it was in the town of Loreto. I thought Nopolo was just the name of a resort area in town. It is not - it is 6 miles away and so you need a rental car if you want to go into town - not much else to do in Nopolo unless you golf or just want to laze around the pool all day. We were there for the scuba diving - which was just starting to get good (clear visability and warmer water temps). We highly recommend Blue Nation for diving and snorkle tours.

En muy buenas condiciones, cerca de una de las albercas y restaurantes del desarrollo. Tiene muy buenos complementos de comida a disposición de los huéspedes, la única recomendación sería mejorar el sistema de televisión ya que solo Se encuentra en el área social y no en las recámaras y se congela mucho por lo Que no se puede ver de manera constante la transmisión recibida.

Great location, clean safe house

This was the second time I have been in Loreto bay. This time, the pool was steps away and the kitchen was modern and very well stocked with EVERYTHING you may need. There were a couple of wear and tear issues that Marco, the property manager, promptly sorted out for us. The ONLY negative I can think of is the lack of hot water...cold showers may be good for the soul, but they are not at all inviting

Not quite as advertised

Our host was always readily available to us which was appreciated. Great location and a cool old building which could be lovely but needs some of TLC. Furniture in outdoor areas very uncomfortable and cushions worn. Bikes and golf clubs needed servicing. No TV reception. Overall a nice stay but unlikely to use again.

Another Wonderful Stay In Loreto

We just got back from our second Christmas at John and Lucy's wonderful villa in Loreto Bay. We were there in 2019 but had to sit out 2020 due to the pandemic. It was great to be back. The Loreto Bay resort area is wonderfully relaxing. The town of Loreto has dozens of great places to eat, many activities (we snorkeled and rode horses this time), and incredibly friendly people. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous. The Mitre's villa is without a doubt the best outfitted VRBO we've stayed in. The kitchen has everything - including a pizza stone! We made some great meals which we enjoyed on the upper deck looking out at the sunset. The place also comes with bikes, golf clubs, and a whole-house reverse osmosis water treatment system. Thanks, John and Lucy, for another great say! We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful upgraded home

We were so impressed with the attention to details in this very well-appointed home. Communication with the owner was always very prompt and helpful. We were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The location close to the AV pool was a definite plus...we look forward to our next visit! Thank you John and Lucy!!!

Loreto Bay March 8 - April 8

Great location by one of the pools in a quiet part of the Loreto Bay development. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of cupboard space for our supplies. Bed was very comfortable and A/C worked great when we needed it in the evening to cool things down a bit. Thanks John.

February Stay in Loreto

Nice location near the pool and easy access to the shops like Pan Que Pan for fresh pastries. Great sunset and mountain views from the upper deck and nice BBQ. Owner was very responsive to some plumbing issues which were fixed in a timely manner. We had a good stay and always enjoy Loreto.

Loreto Bay

The property was well suited to my needs. My only complaint was it had a very musty smell when I first arrived and the master bedroom downstairs smelled like moth balls. I found the air freshner that was causing it and threw it away while airing out the bedroom. Even the clean towels smelled like mothballs.

I’ve never heard any complaints about the dishwasher from anyone previously and this renter did not inform me of any problems... Same for the the oven’s ‘self-clean’ function... Nevertheless, I will have them checked out... Cheers John

Well Equipped

Overal property was well equipped for those wanting to cook their own meals while staying. Location is good as very close to pool. Only disappointment was finding out that there was no cable/satellite TV as advertised in amenities. Had we have known we would have to stream TV we could've have come more prepared. I do also think owner should pre-advertise that toilet paper cannot be flushed as this was at the very least inconvenient. Speaking with other owners/tenants in complex none seemed to have this problem.

Yes, I had a plumbing issue that needed repair and I had it addressed; the blockage was just outside my property so the HOA scheduled the repair. I did ask the tenant to use TP sparingly. I have Internet access and HDMI cables for streaming; I stopped the satellite TV last year.

Agua Viva 53 is a beautiful modern Casa and we would recommend it.

Overall the Casa was well equipped and very comfortable. We liked the proximity of the pool, close but not close enough to hear kids splashing etc. Jennifer at Agua Viva Management was helpful at getting one of the bikes fixed! Could use a few smaller pots in kitchen and an extra towel rack in each of the bathrooms. One surprise was the note in each bathroom telling renters not to flush toilet paper down the toilet. In fairness to future renters this problem should be fixed or clearly disclosed in VRBO amenities section. Enjoyed the closeness of the restaurants, especially Pedro's and Pepegina's. Of course the golf was fabulous and so was the weekly rate! We look forward to coming back next year!

Great Property

What a nice experience! The property was very well maintained, with all the kitchen amenities you could ask for, a grill on the roof, and washer and dryer. The unit is steps from the pool which was wonderful! There are two places to eat/drink within a few min walk. The only complaint was that upon arrival the keys were not in the location they were supposed to be and the office was closing as we pulled up... seconds later and I'm not sure we would have been able to check in. Once we checked in we realized there was zero TP, which was awkward since we had no idea where to purchase goods until later that night. All in all we had a lovely time and would return in a heartbeat! Thanks for sharing your home!

Perfect location in Loreto Bay

We had a wonderful time at this condo in Loreto Bay. The owner was available to answer any questions on email and the property manager, right on site, was extremely helpful. The home was clean, everything is excellent working order, bikes available to use which made a huge difference, and steps to the AV pool and golf course. We would return here anytime!

a nice 2 brm in a fabulous place, easy cleaning, access to local ammenities incl Golf course!

this is a nice 2 bedroom unit. The best refer I have ever experienced...water and ice maker was excellent. Toaster, blender, microwave, propane stove and kitchen dishes etc. were excellent. It is a 3 floor unit...the top patio, nicely furnished w table and chairs, 2nd level master bedroom and large patio incl washer and dryer and another nice table and chairs set up, and main level with front and back door secure patios (no foliage to worry about watering, etc.) The only inconvenience for us as we like to read, was there was only one reading lamp and it was in the master bedroom, all fixtures are high ceiling. It is very close to the pool and that was quite nice. Great social afternoons with other vacationers to share experiences, where to and not to go, etc. And of course, the fish stories!!

Great Location

We stayed in this lovely Casa in the Aqua Viva neighborhood in March 2016. The house is well appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable holiday stay. The screens on the doors and windows are a great addition to keep the evening fleas away. We loved the location just steps from the lightly used community pool where a dip in the afternoon each day provided a great way to cool off after a walk or hike. Spectacular views of the sun setting over the Sierra de la Giganta Mountains from the upper sun deck. The owners were very helpful and John was quick to respond to any questions. The internet was down during our stay but we managed to use free wifi around the community when needed. It was nice to be away from the trafic in Founders Village and everything is just a short 5 minute walk including the beach. This was our second visit to Loreto Bay. We love the area and already planning to return for another stay next March. We highly recommend this Casa if you are planning to stay in Loreto Bay.
