This characteristic, enchanting chalet is so close to the quiet and scenic North Beach in Waikanae.
The new relaxing décor makes this sunny 2 double bedroom, 2 storied chalet a delight !
There is a new queen and double bed, with sheets and towels provided. A highchair and toys are also available for wee ones.
Great new smart T.V. and video player. There are 3 fabulous cafes nearby with great menu's. A walking track and 3 children's playgrounds in close proximity.
Our capital city Wellington is only a 45 minute drive, with buses and trains avaliable here in Waikanae.

Beach holiday

The Blue beach chalet was perfect for our time on the Kapiti coast. The house is so well appointed and comfortable, and its location to the beach and bike trails meant we could enjoy lots of different activities.

Relaxed getaway

This was a well equipped property, nice and close to the beach; the perfect spot to get away from everything for a while! Hosts were easy to contact, and the house was immaculately clean.

Long weekend break

Took time out from the city to stay near the ocean for Easter weekend. The Blue Chalet was great. Super clean and tidy with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend -- short walk to the beach, well appointed kitchen, comfy bbeds

Lovely beach house

We had a lovely stay over Christmas. The house was decorated to ensure our children enjoyed the magic of Christmas during our stay. Great location, house has everything you need. The grounds are beautiful. Perfect for a family get away, with children 5+.

Nice location, clean tidy and compact

Duplex property located in a quite side street. Walking distance to the local beach. Well fitted out, with all the essentials and quite a few of the luxuries. Would stay again.

Wonderful!

I fully enjoyed my stay at the Blue Beach Chalet. Easy and close access to the beach, quiet neighborhood, beautiful garden, very clean, beautiful back deck, I could go on and on. Margaret was very easy to communicate with and provided suggestions for bike rentals and restaurants. If you're looking for a great location to enjoy the Kapiti Coast, I recommend the Blue Beach Chalet.

Our visit was superb. Margaret was a wonderful host, with prompt responses, and was very kind and thoughtful. The home is spotless and in a beautiful location, only a few minutes walk from the beach and close to the local store and eating spot. Would 100% revisit and highly recommend

Weekend trip for a wedding

The place was lovely and clean and exactly as advertised. A great bonus was the baby proofing that has been put in place meant our one and half year old could run around.Added bonus for the toy trucks on the back deck and the paddling pool that was ready to go!

Enjoyable

The bach was beautiful. The upstairs was a bit too hot for us at this time of year. It would have been nice to have had a headboard on the second bed and a fan in that room. Also we couldn’t find a whisk or any gladwrap in the kitchen.Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Great

Great house, more suited to adults than children. We chose this house as the map Point made us think it was next to our friends house. Unfortunately it was not and about 8min walk away, so I would recommend bookabach make it a bit more accurate.

Highly recommend

Had a great stay here with our 2 kids. Perfect little get away spot. Communication with owner was great and was very accomodating. Will definitely be back for another mini holiday.

Good

Very tidy and comfortable. Has a nice little backyard and garden. Pretty warm in the upstairs bedrooms being an A frame style house, but has a heat pump that can be used to cool things down.
