Hermosa 1500sf nivel inferior de registro en casa en el río Nehalem. A 25 minutos de la playa, a 55 minutos del centro de Portland. Tranquila, increíble propiedad con el río como su vista. Ideal para la pesca, la caza o las reuniones familiares. Entrada privada, 1 dormitorio, 1 baño, cocina combinada, TV de pantalla grande, reproductor de DVD, Internet satelital limitado, sala de juegos y sala de ejercicios con una increíble chimenea de leña. No encontrarás una casa como esta en ningún otro lugar, realmente única en su clase. Solteros o grupos bienvenidos. Los arreglos para dormir son los siguientes:

Comfortable and Peaceful

I stayed for 3 nights along the river knitting and reading for a little Mom retreat. It was amazing. Scott was incredibly helpful and warm host. I will definitely be returning for another stay as soon as I can.

Was a great getaway

I really enjoyed staying here, very nice drive to Seaside and back. Enjoyed some movies, played some pool, threw darts. And a very fun feature was using the popcorn machine. Would definitely recommend to someone looking to get away. The host was very pleasant, and accommodating. It was an excellent spot to get away and recharge the batteries.

A perfect base camp

Property was exactly as described in the listing. The host was charming and thoughtful and made sure that anything we needed to be comfortable was available to us and absolutely pampered my children with snacks and conversation. The host's family also went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist in various ways from inviting us to the beach with them to tromping through the forest with me. The house was a perfect place for us to drive to hiking, fishing, restaurants, and the beach and there is a small shop just across 26 where we could resupply or pick up anything we forgot. I cannot express in a short review of how much I enjoyed my time there or how much I enjoyed chatting with the host, but this is definitely a 10/10 "book a week next year and invite the host and his family to dinner if they find themselves in my neighborhood" kind of place. Exactly what I was looking for and a lot of what I didn't know I needed.

Welcoming & Fun

We had an excellent time at this cabin. The host made us feel incredibly welcomed. With 4 rambunctious kids, the anxiety and worry that they are going to be too much for property owners who are onsite can run high. Scott assured us that they were welcome and their enjoyment and comfort was a priority. You could tell that they put a lot of TLC into making this rental space great. Scott made sure we had everything we needed, refilling our spring water cooler & even helping us build a fire. He was not overly present, if folks are thinking they wouldn't want a host that was around all that much; he showed up to help and then was on his way. Beautiful view, short drive to the coast, private and comfortable.

Beautiful setting on the Nehalem River, wonderful host, clean and spacious, lots of little amenities. I would definitely stay there again.

Spacious, comfortable apartment with a spectacular view

Our host, Scott, did everything possible to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He was gracious and welcoming. Although there were just the two of us, this apartment can accommodate multiple guests. It was so delightful to wake up in the morning and look out the windows to overlook the river, the trees and the bridge.

Very clean! Lots of fun stuff for a family. Bed/bedding was very comfortable. Great accommodations!

We had a very nice stay here. We loved the special touches of the spring water, snacks, toiletries, popcorn, etc. Great bed and comfortable bedding. Games were fun too.

Iconic bridge view and a lovely river

First off: The owner Scott gets 6 stars for communication and flexibility. This was initially supposed to be a father/son trip that fell through last minute. I ended up stuck at home the first night, but sent in the cavalry the second night, to make the most of the one night remaining. A one adult/one child stay suddenly turned into a 4 adult/2 teen stay. Not a single complaint from Scott. Plus the communication all along with Scott was wonderful. We forgot some medical supplies and he went WAY out of his way to make sure we got them back ❤️ Plus - wow! Kids took advantage of the arcade games and movies while adults had plenty of time to chill and catch up with a gorgeous river/bridge view as the backdrop. Place was plenty big for all 6 of us. The air mattresses and bed are awesome. We really wish we had more time there.

Family friendly and peaceful

Awesomeness

Beautiful setting! River and bridge views. Nice big family space to play pool, air hockey darts, watch tv and hang out. We even swam and explored the river. Scott was an amazing host, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely would come again!

Awesome

My family and I totally enjoyed our interactions with Scott. The place was clean, neat, and tidy. We really loved listening to the crick out back, especially after a long day with helping for my sons wedding on Canon Beach. Many things to do in the area, like the Tillamook cheese factory. Awesome. The ocean was beautiful. In town were great places to eat. Oh yeah, my kids loved the air hockey table. Kept them pretty busy. Parking was a little tight with my big truck. Scott was very accommodating with this. Scott was awesome. If we go back to this area, I'll be looking to stay at Scott's house again. Lastly, his family lives upstairs. We didn't hear them at all. I hope they didn't hear us. To Scott a big shout out as a 1st responder.

This has to be one of the BEST family trips we've had!

We had the pleasure of staying here on Father's Day wkend, with being a MOM to all boys, they were nvr bored. All the outdoor and indoor activities there, really helps! The scenery here is absolutely breath taking. Scott is an amazing host, communication line between us was always accessible and the town people are great! Also, thank you again for letting us extend our stay another day! It truly made Father's Day special! We didn't have to rush or anything. Scott, we hope to see you again and we are extremely excited to have u meet our friends! They can not wait to book and also catch a first glimpse of paradise.

Wonderful , Restful Hideaway

We so enjoyed our time at the cabin by thre river. It was such a treat to find such a large, quiet place during Memorial Day weekend. We loved thre retro video games as a throw back to our youth. Scott is an amazing host too!

Much Needed Break

Me, my boyfriend, my 3 sons and 1 of their girlfriends got to call this amazing place home for the weekend. It was quiet, relaxing and everything it advertised!! My youngest was impressed by the movie selection, my oldest wants to come back when it’s nicer, we played hide and go seek lol, saw what looked to be a UFO, chopped wood for fun…not necessity since there was plenty cut. Just overall great time!!

This is one of the best vacations we have ever had! The house is so nice and the view of the river is amazing. It’s great to grab a cup of coffee and sit outside and relax with the river going by. Scott was so great and kept in contact in case we needed anything. The fire pit outside was relaxing also. We cut some extra firewood so we could enjoy it and there was more for the next family. Everything was clean and the fireplace was nice and cozy. There is no Cable but there are lots of movies available. Seaside is only about 25 miles away and there are a couple restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back! Thanks Scott for the great time!

Perfect getaway

Scott was awesome. Took care of everything we needed and then some. Very good communication with him. We had fun playing pool and Cornhole for a nice stay in night with movies and pizza from the local store. Scott even let us borrow his kayaks to go fish the lake all day and we even caught a trout right on the river in his backyard. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice retreat in the mountains Five stars!

Our family consist of my wife and I and our three children, chickens, cat and 3 dogs. This is our personal residence and the portion of the property that you will be renting is the lower level which has its own private entrance and is separated from the main house by a locked double door. To ensure your privacy. Our dogs are kept indoors and when allowed outside they’re separated from your private area by a fence. We are super accommodating and want you to have a great time. We have had guests who wanted their privacy as well as guess who wanted to interact with our family. Our kids are always open to playing with kids you’re visiting but only if your kids would like to interact.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Some of the things that make our place special are the fact that is a log home on the river, 9 miles from an amazing fishing spot, 9 miles from an outdoor public gun range as well as the fact that we have kayaks, bicycles fishing gear and guns, all available for your use for a fee. I have expensive knowledge and training with guns so if you’ve never shot and would like to learn, I’d be happy to set up a time to take you out.
