Perfect Family Getaway - Our Home Away from Home

From the moment we arrived, we were filled with Aloha. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spacious enough for our family to relax without feeling crowded, and the thoughtful touches made it feel warm and welcoming.The location couldn't have been better - just a short drive to the beach and easy walking trails in the neighborhood. Walked to the Mauna Lani shops for morning coffee and acai bowls! The neighborhood is peaceful and safe.Truly, this is the perfect home away from home, and we are already planning our next stay! Highly recommend!

Family Getaway to the Big Island

Our family met in Hawaii. Some came from Illinois and others from Alaska. We had a lovely visit and the accommodations made it absolutely enjoyable. We LOVE to cook together and this kitchen did not disappoint. The local beaches and pools were just perfect for all the ages present. Plenty or shopping and local parks too.

This is a beautiful property that my wife and I enjoyed for our 41st anniversary. It was very private and quiet unlike a few of the other places we have stayed on the big island ! The view of Mauna Key in the morning at sunrise was spectacular ! Worth the price of admission !

Family Vacation w/ Children

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! the place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We really enjoyed eating out on the lanai and relaxing in the rocking chairs, watching the birds and palm trees. Heidi and her property manager, Larry, were both very knowledgeable about the area and were quick to respond to questions.

Family vacation on the Big Island

Exceeded all expectations!

This condo was a perfect choice for our family of five adults and our first trip to Hawaii. So many great things but a few highlights were morning coffee on the lanai, easy access to beaches or golf during the day, awesome sunsets in the evening, and all in an extremely well stocked and clean rental property that felt like home. Absolutely nothing we needed that was not there for us. Thank you!

Repeat Trip!

Well-appointed home including the kitchen. Can NOT beat the fabulous view of Mauna Kea from the lanai and the lush landscaping between the property and the golf course. Second time staying here with our two grown boys. Plenty of space, easy to access and communicate with property manager. Love the access to Mauna Lani Beach club, proximity to Fairmont and the neighboring beach park.

Bird Paradise

Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Even had spices in the cabinet and a few condiments in the refrigerator. Loved the outdoor patio experience. The bbq area was really nice and wind protected. The bird watching was amazing. Even had a view of the 5th hole of the Mauni Lani N. Golf Course and Mauni Kea. Great place We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing getaway

Fantastic stay

Our family spent an entire month at Alohale and loved every minute of it. Mornings were coffee on the patio listening to the birds, often seeing the wild turkeys walk by. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also provided for days at the beach which for us were many. Beds are comfortable, a/c is good and the location is perfect. If there was anything we needed Larry the property manager was quick to respond. This is a wonderful property.

Vincent and Heidi had excellent communication throughout the booking process and were perfect hosts. The house was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. We felt like it could be our home. The kitchen was well stocked and they provided everything needed for recreation. Larry, the manger was responsive and easy to communicate with. You can feel the aloha spirit at Alohale

Stunning!

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Mauna Lani is a gorgeous area and this unit is just lovely. It is well positioned in the Kulalani complex, a very short walk to the pool, and not too far from the entrance. It is a 15 minute walk to the shops. The unit itself is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you will need, from pantry staples and utensils to beach equipment, it has literally everything. We had zero issues during our stay, and the one time I did reach out to Heidi to ask her a question, she responded very quickly. I would highly recommend this property!

We stayed at this property as my son was getting married close by. We had our other 2 adult sons with us. Beautiful home. Had everything we needed. Pool very close. 2 beaches with great snorkeling within only 5 min drive. Only issue was guest parking. Had to park by pool. There is plenty of parking on driveway. Not owners rules - condo rules.

Amazing stay in paradise!

I almost don’t want to say how amazing our stay was to keep this gem to myself! If you are thinking of booking this house for your family vacation you should do it now! House is clean and perfect location close enough to walk to grocery store, restaurants, and beaches. I can’t say enough good things. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the back porch overlooking the beautiful golf course and volcano. My daughter and I spent a lot of time walking the beaches and exploring. The house had plenty of room, beds were comfy and the house was clean. All of my interactions with the owner were very pleasant and I feel they go out of their way to help you and make everything related to the VRBO as smooth as possible! I hope our family is fortunate enough to come back and rent this property again! Mahalo! 🌸

Well stocked great home

Beautiful home in the best area on the big island. The HOA stuff is a bit much but work thru it. The garage is big so parking in it is easy. Lots of beach stuff and cooking in the home is great as there are lots of dishes and accompaniments. The grill cooks hot but is fantastic. Only downer for us was the temperature control. Try as we may, we never seemed to be able to get the temp down to 72 until early in the morning. The master bedroom is far warmer than the rest of the house so we slept with the bedroom door open and fans running. Made it through but for the cost of a week it was a let down to have to endure hot sleep.

Beautiful, spacious, perfectly-equipped home for a fantastic vacation

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. It is large and spacious and airy with high ceilings and plenty of space for everyone. The decor is lovely and well-appointed. The linens are nice. The towels are fluffy. The kitchen equipment is great. The house is really incredibly well-organized, neat and tidy (even the garage!) with absolutely zero clutter and the perfect amount of gear one needs for a great vacation. The kitchen is so perfectly stocked. We love to cook and everything you could ever want to cook three meals a day for a family of four is on hand in this kitchen. We ate on the lanai for most meals. My husband and I marveled at what a great rental this was for our family and what an excellent vacation we had as a result of being in such a lovely home. It’s well situated near a good supermarket (Foodland) and great beaches (Hapuna Beach is the best) and nearby hotels (Fairmont, Westin, Mauna Lani) for nice meals. Highly recommend this lovely, upscale rental.

Our property manager Larry is onsite and greets you in person to make sure you know where everything is and have a real person to talk to locally for questions and vacation ideas. You will always have great service and fast response should you need anything.

You are only a few steps away from the Fairmont Orchid. The beauty of our 500 sf Lanai, where you can see Mauna Kea beyond the golf course, lava fields, and swaying palms, is why we chose this Kulalani townhome. And we looked at many, for years. Because it is one of only a few units tucked further towards the golf course, and beautifully landscaped, there is a kind of privacy that only this home enjoys. You will enjoy the morning sunrise and cool afternoon shade while enjoying the beautiful landscape. The living and dining furnishings are brand new. Master bedroom is king size, mattresses are top of the line Beautyrest Black. Hawaiiana style decor and local art are designer touches. Each bedroom is special. As scenic and removed from the hustle and bustle as we are, we've still equipped this home with more modern conveniences than you will find in rental homes. WIFI DSL Internet, HDTV with Premium Channels like HBO and Showtime and ON-Demand with DVR included at no extra cost. Most rentals still have analog cable with standard definition TV. Local Phone with free unlimited calling to US and CANADA.
