Disfruta de la brisa del mar y el sonido de las olas en Summer Breeze Cottage en East Orleans.

Esta nueva casa de mercado de 5 habitaciones en Barley Neck se ha actualizado cuidadosamente para que disfrute de sus vacaciones de verano. La casa se encuentra en un maravilloso y tranquilo vecindario con hermosos cerezos y jardines perennes.

Uno puede pasear por la carretera a Pochet Inlet para lanzar un kayak, caminar por Briar Springs Road para darse un baño rápido en el Meetinghouse Pond o tomar un viaje de 5 minutos a la playa Nauset por un día en la playa. Summer Breeze Cottage está justo en la calle de Barley Neck Inn y otras tiendas y restaurantes de Main Street. También hay fácil acceso a Skaket Beach & Rock Harbor en Cape Cod Bay.

Beautiful home. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Wonderful screened in porch. Kitchen stocked with all the amenities. Nice yard with plenty of outdoor games to choose from Karen was great to work with prior to and during our stay. BTW, Loved the outdoor shower!

Amazing house for a family vacation - on a quiet street and great location for beach and other activities. The house is very clean, has comfortable common spaces / bedrooms, and a great screened in porch. It is also well stocked with everything for the beach (towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers) and the kitchen has all the pots / pans and cooking utensils you could need. The whole family loved the house.

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. Owners are responsive to anything you need. Location is great, more secluded off the main roads, quiet at night and you can hear the ocean in the early morning.

One of the best!

We had our kids and grandkids for 2 weeks in this wonderful house. They went to the beach while we elders sat on the tranquil screened-in porch facing lovely gardens. Karen was a great hostess. I couldn't believe how stocked with basic cooking supplies the house was. There were towels and beach chairs for everyone, and plenty of kitchen equipment. Nothing was left undone. We could have come with only our clothing. The deck in the backyard faced more beautiful gardens. Games were in the garage. Everyone had a great time and the house left us wanting nothing.

A lovely stay

Our family group of 8 adults and one 2 yo had a wonderful stay at Summer Breeze. The house was well equipped, clean and comfortable for everyone. Highlights were the proximity to both Nauset and Skaket beaches. Easy to get a week pass for both beaches online or at Nauset Beach admin bldg. Another highlight was the lovely screened in porch, with comfortable seating and a large table for dinner or games. We had a bit of rainy weather and it was a nice retreat on those days. The lovely backyard and patio provided even more spots to enjoy time together. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Karen was so very helpful before and during our stay. Her guide book is quite extensive and includes all details to create a wonderful stay in Orleans.

Lovely home, beautiful neighborhood, amazing screened porch

Our second time at Summer Breeze, but first since all of the improvements (including the screened porch). We loved it the first time and it’s even better now!

Perfect Cape Cod vacation

Our family of 9 loved our stay at Summer Breeze. The house has plenty of space for spreading out with the beautiful front porch, back deck and gardens perfect for relaxing. The outdoor shower was amazing for post beach rinse off. The neighborhood was close to Nauset and Skaket beach, Orleans shopping, Firebird games, etc.

Truly a Summer Paradise

Three generations of our family stayed in Summer Breeze in Orleans. From the photos, we expected a beautiful home , but the house is beautiful, and welcoming and then some. Every detail has been thought out, the kitchen is easy to use and well equipped, there is an extra fridge in the laundry room, which has an extra large washer and dryer so that the beach load is done in one wash. The house is laid out so that there is room for everyone to be together or to grab some solo time. The front porch is just simply heaven - lovely in the morning for coffee or the evening when the kids were in bed. The back deck was ideal for our first evening cookout. The large living area has a table that comfortably seats 10 - perfect for our granddaughter's birthday dinner. The showers, from outdoor to indoors, were new and spacious (outdoor one being a favorite of all coming back from the beach). The grounds are also lovely - landscaped so that something was blooming where ever you looked. The neighborhood is tucked away and quiet yet a short drive to anything you need. The strong wi-fi made all the zoom calls that took place during the course of the week easy and never faltered when every iPad and iPhone were connected. And the streaming services in the tv room had something for everyone. In short - it was a perfect vacation home and we are all hoping to go back next year.

Exceptional !

This home has everything a family could want or need for a wonderful vacation. It is beautifully furnished, has a very well-equipped kitchen, everything you'd need for days at the beach with close proximity to both Nauset and Skakat beaches, and a large screened porch perfect for our nightly dinners. Simply perfect!

High end, comfortable, great location, wonderful and communicative hosts. A place you would want to visit annually with responsive hosts. Everything you could imagine is there and the place is like a mini paradise. Not often is it as comfortable staying at home as it is being out but this is the place. .A vacation is as much staying at home as it is the adventure. The hosts made this experience wonderful.

Beautiful Cottage!

Summer Breeze Cottage is a lovely place to stay. The house was impeccably clean, exactly as described, and the layout was perfect for our group. I would stay here again and feel so glad that we were able to book it as a place to stay while we celebrated our grandfather’s 90th birthday and family reunion.

Family CC Vacation

Great house near Nauset. Beautiful inside and out and well appointed and updated. Loved going to Nauset after 4:30 p to walk and enjoy the sunset. We had little ones (1-3 years old) so liked going to First Encounter Beach during the day or to Nickerson. Just make sure you bring lots of cash! The beaches and parks all require it!

Incredible house in Orleans

Our family of 12 included 7 adults and 5 children all under 6. We have been renting summer houses for a few years and this house was incredible. In fact, the pictures don't do it justice. We had more then enough room for all of us and the house was very well equipped for all our needs including chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The backyard had lounges and a Weber grill and the kitchen had it all too The screened porch was fantastic and we spent a few nights playing games and hanging out when the kids went to bed and they enjoyed it in the day. The owner, Karen, provided the best welcome pamphlet I have seen and when we had a small problem quickly helped us resolve it The beach was beautiful and less then a ten minute drive. Chatham is a short drive and a nice town. I guess you can say we recommend this house and the owner!!

Great house even in stormy weather.

We stayed during Fourth of July week and really enjoyed ourselves. There were nine of us, including 5 teenagers. The weather wasn’t the best for our week but there was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax and get together to play games. The new front porch was a great addition and the ping pong table got a lot of use. The location was very convenient with a short ride to nauset beach and skaket beach. I highly recommend the house for anyone considering renting in Orleans.

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Orleans. The home was a great size for us (6 adults, 2 young kids), and a convenient location in Orleans a short drive to Nauset Beach, shops, and restaurants, and 10 minutes to Skaket Beach. The new screened in porch is awesome - allowed us to really enjoy time outside, including the two nice ceiling fans to keep cool. The kitchen and main living area are in great shape, with comfy couches, and we appreciated that the TV room could be closed off with nice sliding barn doors. All the bedrooms upstairs had comfortable mattresses and plenty of space for luggage. The garage is also well-equipped with many beach chairs and games. The neighborhood is also great for a nice walk, with many beautiful homes. Overall a 5-star stay!

Great house/location! Multi family vacation

Very clean and well appointed home! Even had a sizeable selection of beach chairs/umbrellas to use which was great to reduce packing. Wonderful neighborhood/location with a 6 minute drive to nausett beach and easy access to skaket beach. We had multiple families with kids and had plenty of room to spread out. The screened in porch was a mainstay and where we ate many dinners, read books, did puzzles. Wonderful home and Karen was great! Very responsive!

Wonderful Stay

Our family had the most wonderful stay in this home. It is in a great location - accessible to various places and yet peaceful and calm. The kitchen is extremely well stocked if you plan to cook including lobster pots. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The fire pit and outdoor shower were perfect. We sat by the fire every night and made smores too. Highly recommend for stay with the family.

We live just outside of Boston and have been coming down to the Cape and Islands for over 20 years. We purchased Summer Breeze in late 2018 so we could enjoy the Cape with our 4 adult children and extended family.

Over the last year we updated, painted and furnished this charming beach community farmhouse. It is now a warm and comfortable family home for up to 10 vacationers. With easy access to beach and stars, Summer Breeze is relaxing and a perfect break from whatever ails you. We hope you can enjoy it as much as we do.
