Alojamiento de lujo y artesanía en madera personalizada en todo momento por River City Woodworks hace de esta una unidad muy especial que los propietarios están dispuestos a compartir con los que aprecian y respetan un entorno inmejorable.

Disfrute de lo mejor de ambos mundos - la reclusión de Polar Peak Lodges ubicado entre los altos pinos, mientras que la comodidad de alojamiento de esquí-in.

¿Quieres una experiencia de lujo mientras que el esquí? Esta ciudad natal ladera de la montaña está muy bien equipado. La decoración es una combinación de sur oeste (colores brillantes) y tribal, con toques personales de todo el mundo.

En la planta principal, se asiento incorporado en las áreas de estar y comedor elaboradas por la ciudad del río y tapizados por el propietario original de alfombras tribales tibetanos. Estas zonas de estar están a cada lado de una chimenea de gas de piedra de pizarra.

Disfrute de la cocina? La cocina gourmet con su abierta gabinetes azul y suelo de baldosas de México está bien equipado y cuenta con una estufa de Garland. Los propietarios originales gustaba armarios abiertos donde los colores predominantes, y nos encanta también. Además, es fácil de sacar las cosas de los armarios!

¿Cuántos pueden quedarse aquí? La unidad cuenta con dos reyes y dos reinas - por lo que ocho o menos invitados.

En el nivel superior se encuentra aa amplio dormitorio principal con baño y walk-in closet. Relájese en su capitán cama de matrimonio con cajones debajo. Las otras dos habitaciones comparten un baño y cuentan con camas de matrimonio, uno también una cama capitán. Otra zona de dormitorio está en la planta baja y cuenta con una cama king size con baño independiente.

Disfrute de entretenimiento? En el nivel inferior es una pantalla plana de 48 pulgadas con sonido envolvente. Pero no se olvide de camino abajo para identificar todos los animales de piedra en la impresión maravillosa del artista de Peterborough Brian Richardson.

Wonderful family vacation

Beautiful vacation home. Richard and Sue were very thorough, ensuring we had the best stay possible. The place was very clean with all amenities as listed. (The hot tub was awesome after a day of skiing). We felt very welcomed and at home.

Great Ski Get Away

We were fortunate to have stayed for nine nights at Richard’s cozy condo. The first few days we could only do a few runs before needing to warm up, it was freezing on the mountain. To be able to easily ski back and prepare our own meals in the chef’s kitchen was priceless. We will fondly remember sitting around the table with our family enjoying many dinners together or playing games next to the glow and warmth of the fireplace. Perhaps Richard can’t control the weather, but he certainly made our stay great. We hope to return again.

Polar Peak 12

Property location was great. Parking was not great. Condo was cramped and very uncomfortable furniture. Hosts were very informative and instructions were very thorough. Lots of spiders and spider webs.

Great Stay Fernie

We all had a great time excellent accommodation and amenities. Lack of snow was only draw back but out of everyones control. Would definitely rent again if we come to Fernie.

Wonderful! Will not disappoint…

Everything about our time in Fernie and at this property exceeded our expectations. We are skiers and the location was ski in and (walk a little) ski out. The various peaks and bowls at the mountain were beautiful with plenty of variety. The town was a 5-7 minute drive with a few nice restaurants and shops. The property itself was super clean with a very well equipped kitchen and attractive bathrooms. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and there was plenty of hang out space with a gas fireplace, adding to an overall comfortable atmosphere. The host was always happily available for any questions that came up. We highly recommend this property!

Wonderful stay

We had a great time in Fernie. The condo is beautiful and so well stocked. It was truly the nicest place we have ever rented for a ski vacation. There were so many nice touches. And the owners were very nice and helpful.

Great place!

The place was great! Fully equipped for easy enjoyment. Very nicely laid out. Great sleeping quarters. Fab kitchen, with everything you could ask for in terms of equipment and supplies. Highly recommend for any family looking for the full package.

Our Fernie home away from home

We would like to note how wonderful it was dealing with Richard and Sue. They were available every step of the way to ensure we had a great holiday. Stepping into their Fernie home we felt comfortable immediately. Everything is exactly as indicated on the site and was very well stocked with all amenities. Everyone in our group of 8 commented on the spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. The manageable walk to the lifts was just enough to wake up our ski muscles and the ski in trail took us right to the back deck at the end of our ski day. We would highly recommend this accommodation for a large group of ski friends experiencing Fernie Alpine Resort. The Fernie Shuttle was easy to access and affordable for transportation to dine in town. Thanks for a wonderful week!

As Advertised

It isn't unusual for someone selling an item or service to oversell the benefits of their product. That isn't the case here. This condo is gorgeous from top to bottom. The basics: GREAT location, fully appointed kitchen, comfy beds, every amenity. A short hike to the hill and ski-in right to the back yard. The bonus: it's a beautiful home. The level of craftsmanship that went into the woodwork is remarkable and the decorating and artwork are fabulous (loved the wall-hanging going up the stairs). Now, I recognize that this may not be a "must-have" for a ski trip, but I assure you it was lovely to come back from the hill and relax and cook in this lovely space. We really did feel like we were at home. Any drawbacks? Two small ones; neither got in the way of our enjoyment. The hot-tub (which looks brand new) is small. 2-3 people is best, 4 was cozy. We were a group of 8, but tended to arrive home at staggered times and just used the tub in shifts - it really wasn't a problem. The garage is tiny. If you use it to store your skis (as you must), you will not likely fit a vehicle inside. However, there is a spot in front of the garage and ample "visitor" parking within steps. Again, this wasn't a problem for us. Overall - we loved the condo and would DEFINITELY rent it again. Thanks Richard and Sue!!

Fabulous family ski vacation

We will be back ! Our family has just returned from a perfect ski week in Richard and Sue's mountain home, a very short walk or ski to the lifts, with a ski trail home. The condo is suitable for both adults and children .....clean, spacious, beautifully decorated with artwork from their travels. The open living/dining area on the main floor is perfect for reading, games etc and all of the bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds. The lower floor is spacious and comfortable, a wonderful place for tv and games. We enjoyed Richard and Sue's kitchen which is so well equipped with coffee, tea, spices and every "chef's" toy one could want. And after a day of skiing, a highlight for us was the private outdoor hot tub on our deck overlooking the snowy forest trails. Richard and Sue have done everything and more to make their home comfortable for their guests, and were very responsive and helpful if we needed anything. We can't wait to return.

We stayed with our family of 8 and had an amazing time! They have everything you could need, all the small things you forget you can usually find! I don’t have one bad thing to say about our time! The hike to the hill in the morning was good to wake us up and loved that we could ski back to have a quick lunch during the day! All around I would highly recommend this place to anyone I know!

Very luxurious condo - walk to the lift, ski back to the condo - very convenient. Beautifully furnished with an wonderful semi-private space in the basement. Big dining room table, hot tub on the main floor, cook's kitchen. Nice towels and linens. Great customer service by the owner. Highly recommended.

Fernie Polar Peak Excellence

Wow! This place is nice. You are clearly settling into a place that feels like home. It looks new, is very clean and modern, and has a very well furnished kitchen, including many of those little things like dozens of spices that you would likely forego otherwise. It is a short walk on a wooded path to the lifts, and skiing back is a breeze. Puppies on the trail and squirrels in the trees.

Awesome Accomodations

Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautifully appointed condo. We enjoyed the interesting decor - everyone found the monkey - eventually(or so we think). Cooking was made easy in your well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the many amenities (hot tub, fireplace, spacious bedrooms and numerous bathrooms) that your unit had to offer. The skiing was good and we had a great family holiday.
