Bienvenido a Casa Pacífico en la hermosa Nayarit, México. Esta unidad (Casa de Sonrisas) es una de las dos en la propiedad.

¿Cansado de las descripciones de "caminar a todo"? Podría caminar por el país si realmente quisiera. Esta propiedad es verdaderamente una casa de paseo a la playa. Párate en la calle frente a la casa, gira a la derecha y el Océano Pacífico te llamará a 100 pasos. Además, hay varios cafés en el vecindario, así como pequeños mercados. 6 cuadras lo llevarán al centro de La Penita, donde encontrará tiendas, mercados, bancos, restaurantes y bares, casi todo lo que necesita.

La casa en sí es un dormitorio con una cama queen, un baño con una gran terraza privada. Siéntate afuera en la mañana para tomar un café o en la noche para ver la puesta de sol mientras escuchas las olas y la brisa del mar. Muchas ventanas para luz y aire. ¡Entrada privada a tu casa del segundo piso! Una cocina completa te permite comer cuando quieras, pero todavía estás lo suficientemente cerca de la ciudad como para visitar uno de los cafés y restaurantes más destacados. Un corto paseo por la playa te llevará allí en minutos. O compre tamales y tortillas de los vendedores ambulantes y las tiendas del vecindario.

Un baño grande, un armario empotrado y una sala de estar realmente espaciosa hacen de este el hogar perfecto mientras exploras todo lo que Riviera Nayarit tiene para ofrecer: edificios coloniales en pueblos cercanos, surf en Sayulita, motos acuáticas, paseos en montaña, mercados , ruinas, aguas termales, volcanes y millas y millas de playa. Puede explorar fácilmente los otros pueblos de la zona: San Pancho, Rincón de Guaybitos, Los Ayala y Lo de Marcos. Estarás aproximadamente a una hora de Playa las Tortugas y el campamento de tortugas allí. San Blas está una hora más allá.

Se suministran todas las sábanas y toallas (incluidas las toallas de playa). Loved our visit!

Awesome location, my wife is pretty pregnant so being a short walk to the beach and multiple restaurants was a huge bonus for us. The rooms were clean, the pool was super refreshing on days we didn't feel like walking. Plus Lissa makes the best bagels, we will definitely be back again!

The real Mexico

Casa Pacifico in La Penita is a perfect place to stay if you want to experience the real Mexico. We liked that it was just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the pool every afternoon and most days we were quite alone to enjoy it. Lissa was very helpful and easy to talk to. She gave us lots of great information on La Penita.

Our 2023 vacation

Our stay was an amazing one. The room was absolutely beautiful. We had air conditioning, smart t.v., full kitchen set up, beach supplies as well as acces to a pool and pool and a laundry room. The beach was a few feet from the property so their was always a breeze in our balcony. Lisa, the owner of the property was a absolutely wonderful and helpful. She was there whenever we needed help with anything. We travel to La Peñita and guayabitos every year and we usually stay at hotels, but this year our stay with Lisa was by far the best one yet, and we will definitely be coming back again soon.

Perfect beach rental!

Where do I even start? I'll definitely be returning to this rental for my next vacation to Mexico, I just hope it isn't already booked! The owner is on site and is so helpful, she even left some snacks and a full water bubbler for us free of charge! The bed was super comfortable and keeping the windows open made for a wonderful cross breeze while I slept. The pool area has been remodeled since the pictures, it's a lovely little area to lay out and get some sun while reading a book and drinking your morning coffee before taking the 2 minute walk to the beach! If you're not in the mood to lay by the pool there is a private covered patio off the rental as well. The town is super friendly and has tons of places to grab a bite to eat or do a little shopping. Oh, and did I mention the rental comes with basic cooking spices, tin foil, plastic wrap and sandwich bags? Lissa (the owner) really has thought of everything and it made for a great vacation experience, and the all inclusive pricing is an added touch, no surprise utility bills!

Very Hot!

The property is on a rural dirt road & at first glance it is a bit unattractive. The beach is at the end of the street but with that comes locals "hanging" at the end of rd where you enter. My fault as I didn't see the unit had no AC & it was extremely uncomfortable. Sleeping was difficult even with fans provided. Could not enjoy at night & needed to leave the unit There are rules for cleaning posted. Used coffee filter in the pot, not clean around the bathroom sink, a piece of food on the towel holder in the kitchen and dirt on the kitchen counter. These are small things but the heat was not so if you are adverse, this may not be the place for you.

True Mexico

La Penita is a busy little city with just about zero tourists. Staying at Casa Pacifica was a great way to experience a non-touristy town and the host, Lissa, is available to help with anything and everything. The notebook she provides in the unit was extremely detailed as far as beaches, restaurants and things to do. I think renting a unit here for a month while learning Spanish would be wonderful. I would love to come back!!

We stayed in the upstairs unit. It is roomy, spotlessly clean, and everything works. The queen size bed is very comfortable. It is stocked with everything you need, nice plushy towels, washcloths, toilet paper, water, a full kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. Comfortable sun beds beside a lovely pool for cooling down. A large terrace. Steps away from a lovely beach in a quaint neighbourhood not far from the Main Street of La Penita. Lissa is an excellent host. Very friendly, always available and very knowledgeable. We loved our stay here.

Host Lissa was lovely. Her accommodations were immaculate with top quality bed and bath linens, well equipped kitchen, pool, loungers and a wealth of local information. Could not have wished for more!

Bright, clean, close to everything.

We had a great time. We loved La Penita. If you like big all inclusive resorts then it might not be for you. La Penita truly is a working town. It's regular people working and living their lives in this wonderful village. The beach is right at the end of the block from Casa Pacifico and it was never crowded. It was Easter break for the locals and we were warned that it might be busy. The Mexicans know how to enjoy the beach. Three or four generations, music, food, drink and sand, lots of sand. It was great. Lissa is very warm and welcoming. Both, before we got there by emails and after we arrived, if we had any questions or needed anything, she was right there. We stayed in the upstairs suite. It was clean, bright, cool with a huge deck that we used for early morning sun and coffee, and in the afternoon for margaritas. If your looking for the authentic, real Mexico, this is for you. I highly recommend Lissa at Casa Pacifico in La Penita.

Perfect Location

This rental property is in the perfect location! Close walk to the beach and to the main Avenida where you will find everything you need! Grocery stores, bakery, butcher and tons of restaurants (check out La Vitola, great pizza and pasta). We enjoyed living in an authentic Mexican neighborhood, you will never get this experience at an all inclusive resort! The unit is well equipped and very comfortable with a great, huge, private terrace which we loved to sit out in the mornings! The pool and courtyard is lovely, it was nice to dip in the pool after a day at the beach! Lissa, the owner was very helpful with any questions and is very knowledgeable about La Penita and the other towns in the area. We only had one complaint the whole time we were there, our ceiling fan squeaked and as soon as we mentioned it , Lissa had them both replaced immediately! We have booked for next year and already we can't wait! Thankyou Lissa for a great accommodation! Joanne and Blair

Amazing, Fabulous, Best so Far

We stayed in the upper unit for a month (February) and have already booked for next year. The bed was very comfortable (that's important because I have a bad back.) The unit was spotlessly clean, nicely equipped, and has wonderful cross ventilation. There is a notebook with maps, restaurant tips (go to Irma's), and guidance on tipping. It is such a bonus to have laundry on site. The beautiful beach is just a short walk away or you can also relax on the veranda or by the pool. The owner is around if you have questions but she also totally respects your privacy. I really enjoyed being in a Mexican neighborhood, seeing the school kids, watching the dogs snooze, stopping by the tortilleria to get fresh tortillas for lunch or picking up a mini-Magnum ice cream bar at the corner Abbarrotte. You can get by just fine without knowing any Spanish except Please, Thank you, Pardon me. I have been coming to this area for 20 years and this is my favorite rental so far. [One note: we planned on using Verizon to call the US but there was no service at the unit. The wireless network was fine for email and i-texting but if you need cell coverage, you might check into buying a burner in La Penita.]

Perfect location, perfect vacation!

This apartment was a perfect location. Just like the description says, steps to the beach. Nice gradual slope into the water, perfect temp. The town of La Penita is a wonderful little Mexican town with lots of shops and restaurants. This isn't the big, fancy tourist destination, just a real little Mexican town. The apartment itself is very spacious and well equipped. Kitchen is a little small but had everything we needed. The owner is onsite and was very very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and things to see. (She even reminded us about the time change between La Penita and Puerto Vallarta -- good thing or we would have missed our flight!). I highly recommend this rental and we will definitely be back! Great place, reasonable price.

I'm a native of Colorado but have traveled all over the world. I kept returning to Mexico. I usually stay in rental homes, and decided I needed one of my own. After a career in an office, the openness of the beach and the Pacific appealed to me. When I retired, I chose La Penita as my new home.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I love Mexico, its people and culture, and its climate. I look out at the Pacific every time I leave the house. What's not to love? I wanted a place that was close to an international airport for the convenience for family and friends, but far enough away to be out of the frenzy of the tourist areas. My neighborhood is a slice of Mexican life - families, businesses, a school, recreation, great neighbors - and I am in the middle of it, drinking in all that La Penita has to offer.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The location to the beach is a big plus. I enjoy the walled courtyard and pool which provides a quiet retreat. The neighborhood has a realness that is often missing in the resort areas. Since I live on the property as well, I am available should you need anything. I'll leave you alone if you want, but am here if you need assistance or recommendations. Need more space? Ask about additional two bedroom unit on property!
