Esta hermosa casa se encuentra en 12 acres en el extremo sur de Calabash Caye. Está al lado de la mejor plana bonefishing en el atolón Turneffe Island, con el arrecife de un corto nado de distancia. En la planta baja de la casa tiene un amplio comedor y sala de estar abierta sala adyacente a la cocina. Además de las 5 habitaciones de arriba, hay una zona de la madriguera. En el exterior hay un muelle con una hoja de barco disponible.
Hay 5 pisos de pesca dentro de caminar o kayak distancia de la casa. Muchos más pisos y excelente arrecifes y la pesca en alta mar es accesible por barco. Una operación de buceo certificada sólo poca distancia en barco. Un barco con un guía se puede arreglar fácilmente de Ciudad de Belice. El acceso a esta propiedad es de 1 hora en taxi de agua desde la Ciudad de Belice. Hay 2 cuidadores en la propiedad para ayudar con los sistemas domésticos y el mantenimiento. Podemos organizar guías de pesca y barcos, así como un cocinero / ama de llaves si lo desea. Ofrecemos una guía de planificación de viaje completa con listas de verificación sugeridas para su viaje. - Towels and Sheets provided. You will need to bring all food and drinks, including bottled water, from Belize City. - Power is by generator, which is usually turned on in the morning and in the evening until bedtime. This is managed for you by our 2 caretakers that live on the property. - Washing machine available. - We can staff with a cook and/or a house keeper at approximately $60 per day. - A fishing boat with or without a guide can be hired for as many days as desired for approximately $150 per day, plus $100 per day for a guide/captain. The guide will usually stay on property overnight for multiple day bookings. Fishing equipment can be rented, if desired.

Paradise for adventurous families!

We had two families traveling together for spring break and wanted something new and fun. We were wavering between doing the "run of the mill" San Pedro thing or trying something completely different. We have avid fishermen and fisherwomen in our group and two kids that love snorkeling and fishing so we thought "what the heck, let's go to Calabash". This place was amazing. On the first day, the kids were gathering and cutting coconuts and managed to get a gallon of pure coconut water and our cook used the meat to make a delicious coconut milk. The bonefishing right in front of the house is RIDICULOUS and we had a huge pristine reef to explore at our fingertips. We had it all to ourselves. The bonefishing flat in front of the house is obviously something to fight over as various guide boats would pass throughout the day trying to get onto the flat. My husband pretty much camped there for four days straight, though, so they were out of luck. The lagoon was a calm place to kayak and on two days of our stay the ocean was so calm, we kayaked to another island close by. We caught jack, snapper and barracuda (not to mention an eel and squid) right from the dock and brought home 6 huge conch from our snorkeling one day and made our own ceviche. I highly recommend taking a local cook with you if you go as this made our trip not only more relaxing but also more interesting. The two caretakers on the property are amazing and talented and can do anything. They cleaned our fish and conch for cooking and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We also had some locals take us over to the Blackbird Resort for a day of swimming and some lunch, which I would highly recommend as it was nice to be in a pool and socialize with others. We had a couple of snafus while we were there but David and his staff were extremely responsive and took care of us quickly. We are already talking about going back!

Outstanding Fishing

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, it would be hard to top this private lodge off the coast of Belize. You can fish the flats for bonefish right out the front door, take a boat to fish many other flats, go deep water fishing just a few hundred yards off-shore, or, simply relax and hike around the island. The lodge itself is not your average lodge - well built, beautiful, very comfortable, and literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear for those who like scuba diving or snorkeling. The trip to and from the island offers a bit of adventure as well. We had an exceptional experience and highly recommend this lodge.

Bonefish paradise

I have been to Calabash Cay off the coast of Belize a couple of times to target bonefish. The flat in front of this property is absolutely outstanding for targeting these wiley beasts. It is broad and runs along the shore for hundreds of yards with access to other flats a short walk away. The thrill of catching one of these fish is memory that will last forever. If you employ a guide, there are many opportunities to fish other flats, or to fish "off-shore" as the deeper water is just the other side of the reef. The water in this area is crystal clear and offers many opportunities for other water activities, i.e. snorkeling and scuba. It is an ideal place to relax if you just want to sit in the deck, enjoy the breeze and read or snooze without worrying about being disturbed by noisy neighbors. nearby. The property has multiple bedrooms and a great hall downstairs for gatherings and meals, as well as a large kitchen.

Great Getaway Spot

If you're looking to getaway to a beautiful location with fantastic fishing, and no one else around to disturb you, this is the spot. The house is gorgeous and rustic with plenty of furnishings so you can hang out in comfort inside, but most of your time will probably be spent enjoying the ocean just outside the front door. You can either fish the flats by the house or head out for some deep sea fishing a short boat ride away. You can also explore a good amount of the island and possibly spot some wildlife. As much fun as the place is during the day, the night offers some spectacular views as well on a clear night. All in all, this is a great location for an 'off the beaten path' vacation.

Idyllic Tropical Paradise

If you are searching for remote getaway on a pristine tropical island, this is it. Turniffe Island is spectacular and the reef is just a short swim from the lodge. The bonefishing is spectacular and there are several flats just a few yards from the front door. The house is located on a peninsula so you have ocean front views as well as calm channel for swimming. The home is very nice and well furnished. I would recommend a boat for your stay since exploring the beauty of the island is lots of fun. I would highly recommend it for serious fishermen, divers and adventure lovers. I have been back 3 times and love it. If you are a fisherman, expect lots of bonefish, permit and abundant reef fish.

Beautiful private resort

Fantastic vacation spot for the adventurous family or small group; the house is beautifully decorated, spacious and easily accommodates 10 people. Some of the best snorkeling I have ever experienced are just steps from the house. If you are an avid fisherman this is the spot. Many flats for bonefishing and a short boat ride for deep sea fishing. Can’t wait to go back for my third trip.

Amazing fishing resort

Fabulous private lodge on remote island in Belize surrounded by coconut trees, sea grape and mangrove forest....and ocean. The fishing was incredible: huge schools of bonefish on flats right outside of the lodge. Also caught several barracuda on top lures....and great shallow water snorkeling and deep sea fishing. Highly recommended.

This property is a fisherman's and a diver's dream location. There are so many wonderful fishing and diving options that you will not nearly accomplish them all in a week.

There are no other houses for rent in the Turneffe Islands that we are aware of. Our property offers arguably the best bonefishing flat in the whole island chain just a 2 minute walk out your front door. There are fish on it for most of each day.

The fact that you can access 5 flats from the house by walking or by kayak is highly unusual and attractive. With the reef just a few yards from your front door, you do not need a boat to access excellent snorkeling. The house is very comfortable and spacious. Its large, open downstairs with a large bar is conducive to fun interaction by all guests.
