Honeymoon comfort

The property was nice to work with, the room was clean and smelled nice. A few small maintence issues but nothing that hindered our vacation. I spoke directly with property owner about the minor maintenance and she was very sweet. She assured me that things would be addressed and thanked me for caring enough to let her know. We would definitely stay here again.

My fiance and i really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was clean and had evetything we needed. The views were incredible and we had everything we needed. The only thing was we had a hard time finding it because the numbers werent marked on outside clearly. Other than that it was wonderful. If we had issue the host answered our call and helped us immediately. I would highly recommend it. Thank you!

Perfect spot, nice location with walking distance to Margaritaville, and Coki beach. The place had all the necessities for cooking, it had snorkeling gear, towels, extra sunscreen. Gated entrance. I do recommend renting a car as there is a lot to discover on this amazing island.

Great location, conveniently close to the pool, restaurant/bar and to sugar beach. Was able to walk to Coki beach and the short drive to Linquist beach...which was absolutely beautiful. Condo was perfect for two people.

Quick Trip

We typically stay two weeks, but this was a quick two night in and out trip. Point Pleasant is always our go to place in St Thomas. Other condos/rooms we have stayed in over the past 27 years of traveling to the island have better views, but the owner of this unit has invested in nice fixtures and finishes. We were comfortable and would book again.

Beautiful location!

This place is exactly as described, and I loved the balcony and the view. Every morning, I stepped out onto the balcony to do yoga, enjoying the wonderful slight breeze coming off the water—it felt magical. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the space is both cute and comfortable. When we encountered an issue, the manager was very helpful and responsive.There's a great bar just two flights down that offers excellent drinks and food. You can easily walk to Margaritaville, but be prepared to take your shoes off if the tide is high; the walk there feels like you’re going through a mini jungle. The only downside is the noise from the party boats passing through and the locals on the nearby beach. If you don't mind a lot of music throughout the day and into the evening, it’s not a big deal. However, I recommend bringing noise-canceling headphones if you are sensitive to noise.I would give this place more stars if there were an option. Highly recommend!!

Great Location ~ would stay again with a few changes

This condo is well appointed and the location was great. Loved the little bar below and the pool is nice. Great service and food. Views are lovely and beautiful Coki point beach is a 7 min walk! It has a little tiki type bar and food and has great snorkeling. A few things to make the stay better. The AC barely ran so the home was very warm at night so sleeping wasn’t the best. They do provide fans which helped but the fans are very dusty so it was brutal on allergies. Also. Recommend upgrading the mattress and pillows. The owner and Evolve team were very responsive to any questions and directions. The resort personnel were extremely responsive when we need assistance with our car. Thank you for a lovely stay. With a few upgrades, the rating would be higher.

It's a good option if you can't get another apartment in this resort.

The location is close to the on site beach restaurant and an easy walk down to Margaritaville Beach (which sucks, keep walking and go to Coki Beach!) View is just ok. It is mostly of the hill and vegetation. You can see the ocean to the left side of the balcony. Apartment had a few issues. Shifting glad door is damaged and does not slide well. It is not attached to the block wall on the outsides. Screen doors on it are ripped. Ceiling fan living room only works on low speed. There's a ceiling fan in the bathroom and just the light works. Bedroom faces the exterior entry door out into open air hallway/stairs. Door is installed crooked allowing light and noise in and is paper thin. You will be woken up a few times from people talking loudly in the hallway and doors slamming. The mini split works but is installed in a way that directs the air down the hallway towards the living room for some reason. You should definitely rent a car if staying here as it is a long way out to the road and very hilly and steep. We always found a parking spot close to the apartment. The house manager was very quick to respond and let us check in a couple hours early when I messaged her. No bugs in the house during our 4 day stay.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- Since your stay, we’ve invested over $1,500 in upgrades, including a new lavatory faucet, a full glass shower panel, electrical work in the bedroom, and refreshed bedding, pillows, throw pillows, and rugs.- We’re working with the resort’s management team to address vegetation overgrowth and maintenance of the sliding glass door and entry door.- The living room ceiling fan is set to low to prevent balance issues from strong ocean winds, and the bathroom fan is functional when the pull chain is used—we’re sorry if that wasn’t clear during your stay.- The resort offers a free shuttle service to Red Hook and other attractions, making it easy to explore without a rental car.Thanks for taking the time to share your experience!

After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they’d like to provide some additional context:- Due to Hurricane Ernesto and the power outages our caretaker was unable to prepare the property in preparation for your stay. Your reservation was supposed to have been canceled, however, due to you being already on the island we permitted your check-in.- We understand that you checked in despite the challenges posed by the storm, including intermittent power outages and the balcony furniture being moved indoors for safety.- Please note that our property is a smoke-free environment, and we ask all guests to respect this policy to maintain a clean and fresh atmosphere for everyone.Thanks for taking the time to leave a review!

Vacation from Hell

We booked this spot due to proximity to the pool & restaurant. We looked forward to laying out by the pool, going to the restaurant directly below it and grabbing a cocktail... lounging out poolside. We were very excited to partake in the water sports the resort and vrbo listed on their site. It was also important we have wifi due to my work. To our immediate surprise the pool below us was closed, the restaurant was closed and being renovated. We listened to extremely loud renovations all day long. I took videos. Not to mention the 6am wake up call from the roosters directly outside our door. Videos available. I have never in my life been so exhausted on vacation. I was looking forward to sleeping in and never could. My throat was horse due to lack of sleep. I was in tears at how loud this room was. My husband, who never complains, was like yea.. this is absolutely horrible. To get to another pool that was open, we had to truck up multiple flights of run down stairs. There was no restaurant open during the day to grab food or drinks at. When we mentioned this to the Property owner she was very curt and told us to take a cab and find food. Only problem is, a round trip cab ride is $40. Doing this three times a day is not practically. There was a gourmet restaurant that was extremely pricey opened at night. The cheapest entree was $34 each. We weren't prepared to spend all this additional money just to eat. We assumed the restaurant that was in the listing would actually in fact be open. We would not have stayed at this site if we knew the restaurant was closed and under renovation right outside our door. The owner told us it wasn't her fault, but that is what she sold us, that is what we should receive. And there was a letter that went out to all the owners regarding this. I am not sure why they said they didn't know. I called the front desk and they said people weren't staying in that area because of the noise. Guess that same curtsey wasn't extended to us. The owners response was that people go to St. Thomas to explore so I guess we shouldn't be worried about the noise and renovations disrupting our stay. She also told us to bounce off other rooms wifi. To me, that is unacceptable if you advertise having wifi. I even took a screen shot of the very low/no signal strength from other peoples wifi. I sent this to her and she still said it existed. I don't even know what to say to that. Also the water sports advertised don't exist. Terrible.

Kelly, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following: " - We have confirmed the following, the lower pool was open - The water sports vendor was open and ready for business - The middle pool was open and is one flight of stairs up and then level to reach it, this is also very close to the lower pool - There is a free shuttle to Red Hook which has plenty of dining choices and we also advised you of Senior Pizza which delivers - My caretaker verified the A/C was working fine - The Wifi box was fried and we have replaced it, we do apologize for this inconvenience. We do however have guests who have connected to the internet from our neighbors with no complaints - We have no control over the local neighbors who own roosters, we do not allow pets on the property - The needed construction starts at 8 am and finishes at 4 pm, I have tried to stay on top of where the construction will be happening on the property and have notified guests as much as possible We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star reviews we know we can.

Fell in love again <3

We took a trip to St. Thomas, USVI for my 30th birthday. We will absolutely be back! The island is gorgeous, the locals are SO nice, Red Hook & Duffy’s Love Shack were our favorites! All of the beaches are breathtaking and highly recommended! Our stay was great and has all amenities which is really nice to save some money on eating out. VERY pleased with everything! Couldn’t have been a better trip!!

Beautiful rental and property. Staff at property were very helpful with excursions, taxis etc… great location with a restaurant at the bottom of the property, margaritaville, jet ski rentals and beach in walking distance. Location in reference to red hook and Charlotte Amalie was only a $5-10 fare. Customer service through the renter was awesome and very informative. Also helped with questions in a very fast time frame. Overall would 100% stay at this location in the future. We had a great time for 6 nights and would recommend this rental to anyone.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!!!!!!!! Seriously the best vacation of our entire life! We had sooooo much fun! This place is in the perfect location the room was perfect had a big living room/ kitchen and and comfy bed and nice shower. We were in HEAVEN!!! Carolyn is the best host and super responsive. If we could have stayed forever I would have. If you stay here you will feel the same. It’s easy to get a taxi and located close to everything. If it’s available for your stay you need to stay here!

This is a great location. Great view and easy access to Shoreline Grill and walking path to Margaritaville resort/restaurant, Coki beach, etc. The accommodations were adequate for our needs and were one of the few condos that allowed a 2 night stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. There were beach towels and sunscreen (no beach chairs). The description said that there was snorkeling equipment included but there was only one very old mask/snorkel and 3 sets of fins. I asked about getting another mask/snorkel and was told one would be dropped off first thing in the AM but it did not show up by the time we headed out at 10am and so we ended up renting. A brand new one was waiting for when we returned. My only real complaint was the bed that had a dip in the middle. It was very uncomfortable. However, the mornings and evenings sitting on the deck overlooking the bay (and pool) made up for it.

True to pictures

We enjoyed our stay here - the view was as is pictured and we enjoyed sitting out there! The best find was the private beach (Sugar) at the end of the property! I was nervous the pool / restaurant below would be noisy and nobody really used the pool and you can't hear the restaurant! Enjoyed our stay!

This trip was a celebration of my wifes 50th Birthday and our 27th Wedding anniversary, so to say, the units "tight" accomidations were fine for the two of us. The unit isnt very big, but it is ideal for just 2 people. Very clean, all the needed amenities, and a spectacular view (right above the pool that no one ever uses), I guess that is because why would you swim in a pool when you are surrounded by beutiful beaches. On Saint Thomas we found that Coki beach, which is within walking distance, was the best snorkling beach in all of our adventures, Megans beach is great to spend a day at. We also reccomend take a day and take the ferry to St. John, catch a taxi truck, have them drop you at Maho beach and work your way back to town, using the taxi's, stopping at the beaches on your way back. (We only stopped at 2 beaches, as we were only there for 8 hours). We also highly recommend making your way to Woody's for a beverage and some snacks before leaving St. Johns. One of the things we enjoyed the most about Point Pleasant was Sugar beach, This is a small beach hidden at the end of the property, (can be walked to from the unit), is very secluded, and for us became a place where we could sit by the water and watch the waves roll in during the evening hours after returning from our daily adventures. There is also the restereaunt / Bar located right next to the pool which is also nice for the nights when you dont want to cook or venture out. We really enjoyed our time at Point Pleasant and will visit again as soon as possible.

Great get away

They had all the comforts of home. It was clean, cared for and we can’t wait to book again. Coki beach is close and has excellent snorkeling, the taxis are easy to use and plentiful, bring your own snorkel gear it is safer, cheaper and you can use it all over the islands! There are no dryers so plan ahead to dry things by wind and sun. The restaurant next to the lower pool had great food plantains, beans and rice, and drinks.

Great Unit But...

Our unit was great. Very nicely decorated with a great Caribbean view and great location close to the pool, Shoreline Bar and Grill and walking path to Margaritaville. The landscaping was also nicely done and very tropical. One morning there were dead and dying cockroaches everywhere outside of our unit and one in our unit. I'm assuming they must have just sprayed but left them there for a few hours. The listing mentioned six sets of snorkeling gear when there was actually one set that was kids size and one other pair of flippers. The Margaritaville beach was atrocious. Overrun with smelly seaweed and torn up from bulldozers trying to clean it up. We did enjoy dinner and drinks there most nights. Nearby Coki beach had amazing snorkeling and was a short 15 minute walk. Unfortunately it was occupied by a rough crowd of locals openly smoking pot everywhere. I believe someone was shot at Coki beach two days after we were there on 06/14/2021 and another several weeks before that. Overall the unit was nice with a great view but do your research on the surrounding areas so you know what to expect.
