EN EL RIO JACKSON!


Siéntese y disfrute del río Jackson justo afuera de la puerta, el sonido del agua que fluye sobre las piedras lo adormece para dormir y las truchas esperando a ser atrapadas en esta sección privada y abastecida de Jackson, ubicada a solo 10 millas al norte de Warm Springs Pobre área recreativa del camino de la granja.


Esta casa de campo ribereña de reciente construcción es la escapada perfecta para hasta 6 personas. El piso principal tiene una maravillosa gran sala con vista al río con una chimenea de piedra de dos pisos que quema madera. El comedor tiene vista a la granja y a las vacas que pastan ocasionalmente, mientras que la cocina y la despensa están bien equipadas y abastecidas para crear comidas caseras o fiestas. El porche cubierto envolvente será un lugar favorito para cenar o leer un libro, con vista al agua y al valle del río Jackson.


El dormitorio principal, con cama queen, está ubicado en el piso principal con su propio baño completo en suite y terraza privada. La vista es bucólica, mientras que el sonido del río siempre está fuera de la puerta. En la planta superior hay dos dormitorios de invitados, uno con cama de matrimonio y otro con dos camas individuales, que comparten un baño completo estilo "Jack & Jill".


Si tu pasión es volar, te encantará Gillets Run Cottage. Catch & Release Fly-Fishing en este tramo de río privado y abastecido está incluido en su estadía.

Absolutely gorgeous cabin, well maintained and clean. As the gentleman next door commented, "this is where you come to find peace & God's love". Close to hiking, the hot springs, and nice restaurants/cafes. We've decided we plan to make this an annual visit!

Great getaway

The setting and scenery are amazing. We happened to be there during peak fall foliage. The house was super clean and well stocked with all kitchen necessities. Satellite tv was great. Wifi and wifi calling good.

Peaceful and relaxing

The pictures don't do it justice. The peaceful environment and well-appointed space were incredibly relaxing. The sounds of the river, the wildlife, and the amazing views of the pasture and hills were just what we needed to get away from it all. Wonderful spot for a long weekend!

Restful Retreat

The Gillette’s Run cottage is a wonderful, restful retreat! Lots of wildlife to experience along the Jackson River. We caught several fish and saw heron as well as fox in the pasture and along the river. The house was clean and well equipped inside and out. I highly recommend!

Jackson River Property

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful riverside property! The views were spectacular and we were able to go fly fishing and birdwatching right outside the front door. We found it odd that the entrance was through the cow pasture (past two gates that needed to be closed each time) rather than the more direct driveway from the main road. Overall, we loved the location and would definitely return to the area in the future.

Thank you so much for your comments and so glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately, the adjoining landowner has prevented access to what historically was the entrance to the farm and this cottage. Access through the gated pastures is our only option for now. We hope you'll come see us again!

AMAZING!!!

Seriously didn’t want to leave. Wish this property was my own. Great location, tons of outdoor space, and had everything you needed to cook meals. I enjoyed waking up early to see the cows in the field, listening to the river, and having a cup of coffee. This place was super clean and neat. We plan to book this place every year.

Perfection!

Awesome amazing incredible. House is perfection and just know if I go missing this is where you will find me. We were 3 couples 55+ looking for a relaxing weekend and we found it. Fire pit, wrap around porch, river front, quiet, secluded, 10 minutes from Warm Springs, comfy living space with a fire place, top of the line kitchen with a pantry filled with beautiful seving dishes, supplies and w/d. Cannot wait to come back.

New and restful

We spent 3 days at this beautiful cabin. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed walking on the land and visiting with the farm animals. My husband cooked on the grill . . . we ate "in" two nights. The kitchen was easy to work in. Also the beds are very comfortable. We brought pillows but didn't need to as they were provided.

Unbelievable Getaway

The pictures do not do this house/property justice. Everything was absolutely perfect for our family (2 adults and 3 children ages 4-9) and we will definitely be coming back. The house is very secluded and proximity to the river and 2 swimming holes within walking distance was perfect. Management company promptly dealt with a wasp issue and the owner Ryan provided additional insight and history of the land. Amazing time!

Perfect farm stay!

This home is so beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. Very, very clean & nicely updated. It was a little odd to have to bring our own bedding (comforters, blankets) but I get it. The most amazing part was the proximity to the livestock! What a treat to watch horses, cows & babies romping around the barn & fields from the living room! The fence is so close to the home, you get a front row seat to all the activity! We stayed here for the Maple festival in Monterey. The home was nicely situated about 25 min from Monterey & 10 min to Warm Springs. Beautiful location & lovely time had by all! Everyone is eager to come back when the weather is warmer!

Amazing

It was even better than I hoped. It is beautiful inside and out. The house finishings are quality. Even the pots and pans are the kind you would want in your own kitchen instead of the typical garage sale selection you get at many places. We had Thanksgiving dinner and there was even a gravy boat! The beds were comfortable and cozy. We all loved watching the animals outside the expansive windows. There is a peaceful view from every room. We didn't get cell service, but the WiFi was strong. We all enjoyed family time around the fireplace when we weren't out exploring in the area. This time of year is between summer kayaking and winter skiing, but we still enjoyed a horseback ride (Appalachian Horse Adventures - Let's Ride Horses was fantastic for even our youngest rider.) And hiking at Dan Ingalls Overlook and the nearby Poor Farm river trail. As other reviewers noted, the host management company is super organized, responded to all my questions quickly and was very helpful. You do have to pick up and drop off an actual key in town for the property which I've never had to do before, but they make it contactless and easy. We are already planning how we can get back in the warmer season to enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch, yard games, kayaking and outdoor firepit.

Wonderful River Retreat

Beautiful setting and great house

Everything was amazing - the perfect house for a weekend getaway even though the weather was a little frigid for outdoor exploring. A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting and the real estate firm was so easy to work with. We hope to return!

Incredible stay and sensational service

We loved our stay at Gillets Run Cottage. The house had sheets, blankets, lovely fluffy towels, soap, clean sponges, trash bags etc. that made packing for a stay easier. The property manager, Beth, is the best I have ever experienced... helpful, kind, incredibly responsive. She helped us find the best lake swimming, playgrounds, food, ice cream, etc. Highly recommend a visit here. We will certainly be back.

Great snowy getaway

House is in great shape and everything seemed almost brand-new. It was well-stocked with firewood and board games and the kids enjoyed watching the neighboring cow herd.

Thanksgiving Break

We stayed at this property over the holiday / it was perfect. Place was spotless with top notch appliances etc. Super clean with a bunch to do on site in a picturesque setting. Would highly reccomend!

An Idyllic Spot

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this property and loved it. As other guests have mentioned, the photos don’t do it justice. Very clean, new, and well appointed. The management company is very quick to respond to questions and is very friendly. We look forward to coming back.
