Ubicado entre los árboles en la zona de Fox Farm, a solo 2, 2 millas de Bear Mountain, esta casa tiene un ambiente confortable en un entorno tranquilo y silencioso. Descansando en una zona tranquila, ofrece un gran lugar para que jueguen los niños. Fox Canyon es una casa de cuatro dormitorios y tres baños con spa, terraza, patio cercado.

Esta casa tiene una planta libre. La cocina, comedor y familiares juntos dan un montón de espacio para reuniones y fiestas. La cocina está totalmente equipada con nuevos platos, ollas y sartenes y comodidades necesarias. Hay un uso lavavajillas y lavadora. Puede calentarse junto al fuego, relajarse con un libro junto a la ventana de la bahía o ver su programa favorito en el televisor de pantalla plana. Internet, televisión inteligente y Roku están disponibles.

En el nivel superior, el dormitorio principal tiene una cama king y baño privado. También hay un doble espacio adicional para dormir. Dos habitaciones, dos con camas de matrimonio comparten un baño completo. En la planta baja, la sala de bonificación tiene una cama litera total sobre tronco de pino lleno y una reina. Esta habitación es grande para los niños y tiene un televisor de pantalla plana para ver películas y juegos.

We had a great stay at this home! The place was very nice, spacious, and extremely clean, which made our visit comfortable and relaxing. The communication with the host was on point from start to finish—they were responsive, helpful, and made everything very easy.Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we truly enjoyed our time here. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay, and I would highly recommend coming back in the future.

Great stay!

The location is convenient and in a nice area. The home is large and comfortable for families with kids. The place can use some attention to cleaning but it was fine and great for the price.

Carpets & furniture were dingy & musty. Hard surfaces were clean. Some things needed attention, such as a tile on the breakfast bar & the torn/peeling of wallpaper. Also, the light cover in the kitchen. 1 coffee pot was not working the other was filthy. It's a cute & roomy property. A little TLC & attention to details would do it a lot of good.

The booking process for the rental was pretty seamless. Rules for the home are pretty straightforward and what you'd expect. Unfortunately the house is a little run down and needs some TLC. Other reviews also mention this. One of the beds had a broken bed frame and was not usable. Thankfully the couch is soft so my oldest son slept there instead. The house is nice and cozy. There are lots of repairs that are needed that might annoy you, i.e. faucet that sprays off to the left when you turn it on, spotty garage door opener, inoperable TV in one of the room, etc. But it's close to the action of Big Bear, and the kitchen / bbq is pretty dialed in for making meals at home. I hate to give it a 3, as I am fellow VRBO host, but I want to be honest to any upcoming guests.

Comfortable stay

Accommodations are comfortable but needing an interior facelift. Property managers were very responsive to cleaning and repair needs. Overall had a great trip.

Run down party house

I normally dismiss some bad reviews I read based on everybody having their own sense of what’s clean and what’s comfortable, but I should have read the warning signs. This house is big and in a great location but it feels like it’s just been totally forgotten about by its owners.The carpets are the worst I’ve ever seen in any home I’ve ever been to, you don’t feel comfortable walking around without shoes on. The kitchen light fixture is collapsing, the bathtub is corroding away and the paint is peeling all around the house. The curtains stink, and there’s dirt in every little corner and crevice of the place. We kept saying to ourselves “how great would this place be if they replaced the carpets and did a refresh in the bathrooms and kitchen”… it would be night and day honestly. But nope, it just felt like a very run down party house that’s been neglected for over a decade.The one very positive about our experience was working with the management company. Early check in, late check out, very prompt responses and very easy to communicate and work with. A for them. C at best though for the house.

Big Bear family trip

We had a great stay and the neighborhood was cute and quiet. Management was easy to deal with and very responsive. The house was perfect size for our two families - 4 adults and 5 kids total, it was just very much in need of an extreme deep cleaning and honestly, probably just have the carpet ripped out (it was extremely kid friendly with stains throughout the entire home). The garage door opener was not in place making our entrance every time we returned a bit cumbersome because one person had to open the front door and then open the garage before we could pull in. We loved that it was a fenced yard, but it was hilly making playing with any sort of balls outback difficult for the kids, so we used the front street. Aside from that - parks & rec had Ski beach closed for any activity thru 7/15 because it was "full" (of water, not people); so we found a very small area at Boulder Bay to play in with other crowds although signs everywhere said No Swimming also. Very different from lakes in AZ! Also, the zoo is not really a zoo but more of a long stroll of exhibits you could jog through in a few minutes, and extremely overpriced for what you do see. Would not recommend at all. We did find some nice hiking trails and also visited Bear Valley Church and met some nice locals. Overall, it was a good place to get away. I think we'll be back, but probably for winter only and choose a different rental.

Todo muy bien la casa fue perfecta para mí familia, lo único que si falló fue que la cama del cuarto de donde está el juego de Air Hockey estaba quebrada, mi hijo tuvo que dormir en la sala porque era incómodo para él y también la cama donde dormimos mi esposo y yo, hacía un ruido muy fuerte y era incómodo. Todo lo demás fue excelente el servicio del gas propano fue muy rápido. Gracias claro que si volveríamos a rentar la casa de nuevo.

It was nice but needs a deep clean

It was a cool spot , but it wasn’t cozy . It feels a deep clean . Needs to be dusted . Needs new sheets . It smelled in there . I’m ocd it was crusty dusty in the cabin but overall it was a cool spot but nasty . Hair from the previous person , needs to update curtains. But overall it was a cool spot

Review

Jacuzzi was very cloudy with no chemicals. No one came to add chemical until Saturday night. Lights in that backyard did not work. Other then that it was a solid stay.

Cabin was ok but the location was on point

I wish your emails would’ve never advice us to be there by 8am to check in with the possibility of an early check in ... we were not able to check in till 4pm which is fine but very inconvenient getting there at 8am was not ideal at all. We had a great time enjoyed the spacious cabin, too bad it was so run down a simple working curtain & clean carpet would’ve made such a big difference. The cleaning was done very poorly trash everywhere, sofas full of glitter, between sofa cushions there was so much trash it was gross to say the least, the table cloth had food pieces & crumbs. The bathroom floors & roomy bathrooms was a plus. Overall we made best of it but the cabin definitely needs some TLC

Weekend family getaway

Bugs in window sills, carpets stained and burned in places especially near fire place, had to exchange out a comforter because of gross stuff on it, pretty disgusting, chair was broken upon arrival, knife broke as we used it, cobwebs on ceiling and dusty, it’s fine if a property is old and pristine, this was old and dirty. Will not stay here again and may not use this management company. Make an investment to upgrade this property!

Great house, large kitchen and living room - - awesome backyard deck and hot tub.

This house was spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was large enough to maneuver around and came with everything a cook could want, including a slow cooker. We had two options for coffee - - either a traditional drip coffee maker or a Keurig machine. The deck in the backyard was great. The bbq was nice and clean and the hot tub was fabulous. The living room was large and when the curtains were open, there was lots of light. The bedrooms were very nice. We really only had a few concerns. We were here during an unusually hot spell in July. We had to go to the store to buy fans for 3 of the bedrooms. Even with the windows open in the evening, there was no breeze so the rooms stayed hot. The downstairs bedroom had a ceiling fan that made so much noise, it kept me awake - - and I was upstairs. Also, the bed frame in the upstairs bedroom (next to the bathroom) desperately needs to have the support slats tightened. They creaked very loudly any time you made the slightest move on the bed. Other than that, we really liked the house and would stay here again.
