Construida en 2013 y ubicada a orillas del río Okatoma, esta cabaña cuenta con vistas del río más popular de MS. Disfrutará de dos espaciosas habitaciones y un enorme loft que también funciona como dormitorio / sala de juegos. Aire acondicionado central / calor con una estufa de leña opcional para una verdadera experiencia de cabina. Lavadora y secadora disponibles. Amplio porche delantero con mecedoras y un columpio que da a la cascada. Las actividades incluyen senderos para caminar, natación, pesca y alquiler de kayak / canoa.

We luv all the trails. Only complaint was the place wasn't swept whatsoever. I put toweks on the floor so crud didn't get into our beds. I did some sweeping & just put it into the corners. However, i did ask to check in an hour early but the cabin needs a thorough cleaning. Other than that, it was perfect & we luv it.

This is an amazing place to reconnect with family and nature! Everything is exactly like the website says and more! The cabin is beautiful and the view from the porch is beautiful.🤩 The sound of the waterfall was amazing! The host responded quickly to a question I had!I would definitely recommend this beautiful place!

This places was a hit! We stayed for a calm bachelor trip weekend where we celebrated an old Boy Scout with Camp theme and games. This is the perfect setting. When we went, they weren’t many kayaking patrons so not much people watching. I’m sure because of the season. When I woke up early for groceries there were deer on the road. Watch out for spiders, they weren’t your normal city spider. The kitchen was well stocked and had a few lucky leftovers, especially with seasoning and foil. The place was clean and well kept inside and out. If I had to have a thorn, it would be the beds are harder than most of us are used to except for the master suite.

Best spot on the river. The cabin is wonderful and stocked for cooking or grilling. Piggly Wiggly is a short drive north. The only thing that would make the cabin perfect is a TV in the other bedroom.

Another Okatoma Family Fun Weekend

This was our third summer family gathering at Fairchild Landing, and it was great again! The water was up a bit, but that didn’t spoil the fun. The place is super clean and has a great firepit for s’mores! It’s also close enough to Hattiesburg for a run to The Lucky Rabbit. We shall return!

The cabin was absolutely amazing. We had a decent size group down for kayaking, fishing, and lounging. Very spacious, clean, and a good view. Highly recommended to anyone.

Peace and nature!

Even though it rained and the waterfall and Okatoma turned into raging rapids, the stay was great! We explored some trails, spotted about 5 deer and gathered kindling! There was plenty of firewood and we cooked in the pit! We sat on the porch until late listening to the raging river and the rain! It was peaceful and full of nature. A needed getaway from work but just an hour away!

Perfect Getaway

We had the pleasure of ringing in the new year at the cabin and our week has been so relaxing. This is the perfect place to unwind and take a break from "real life." The creek was roaring when we arrived, following last week's storms, and it was neat to see it slow over the next few days and bubble at the rocks on the falls. The owners (along with contributions from previous guests) ensure that you have everything you need, sans food, for a comfortable stay. We will absolutely be back in the future!

Great spot

This house is beautiful, clean and comfortable with the most amazing view of the river. There is wonderful woods with trails to explore. My puppy loved the walks in the woods. We will most definitely rent again in the summer. Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend.

Family Thanksgiving holiday

This place is a wonderful place to enjoy nature. Sitting on the porch in the swing listening to the water fall is heaven. We enjoyed seeing deer and turkeys as we were driving up the driveway.Family enjoyed the walking trails.

Great location. Needs to be cleared for view and cabin needs a deeper clean.

Walking up to the cabin, the stairs were full of huge spider webs along with the spiders. We had to get a stick to clear out the spider webs to go up the stairs and through the post of the porch. Inside, the counter tops weren't clean. We had to clean them. There were spider webs on the light fixtures. The underbrush needs to be cleared to be able to see the water. Had to get in a certain spot to see the waterfall. There was very little view of it. Also, it was difficult to get down to the water (beach and waterfall). A natural looking set of stairs would be great. The ladder to go up the loft was a bit steep. (not for little children or older people, it would be good for teens) The beds were comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels for bathing. Plenty of seating in the Living room area. It could use a different table for playing games such as cards, but we worked it out. The porch is nice to sit and chat. The "beach" is very busy on Saturdays. It was fun watching everyone go down the waterfall and hang out on the beach. Overall, we had a great time!

The absolute best weekend getaway!!

We booked last minute when we found this gem available for the weekend. The weather was so perfect, you would have thought I ordered it. The kids floated in the water and played in the waterfall. I spend majority of the day watching kayakers flip. I laughed and laughed. It was good for the soul!! Can’t wait to book again.

Family weekend getaway

We had a great time at this beautiful property and will definitely be returning It’s clean and very comfortable The surroundings are very peaceful The only problem is that people canoe past and stop and leave litter everywhere on the beach and all over the shores near the beautiful waterfall It’s a real shame people don’t care enough to pick up their own trash I complained to the owners of the canoe rental agency and requested they come pick up trash They claimed to be cleaning on Saturdays but I never saw them clean I even cleaned some myself but each day there is more trash

My stay at the cabin near Okatoma Creek was truly rejuvenating. The sound of the nearby waterfall was soothing and added to the serene atmosphere. Sisters Trip

Very nice, secluded. Beautiful setting! Loved the sound of the waterfall from the deck/porch. It was the perfect place for us to unwind, relax and go shopping in near by laurel and Hattiesburg! Would definitely stay here again!
