Thx you Hannah. Really appreciate it the sub-par review. :( I allowed you to check in early at no fee. Soap was in the write-up instructions as a bring item; however, the cleaner leaves some hand-soap in the kitchen and bedrooms as a courtesy. In the future, a text or phone call to the homeowner could be super helpful.

Great place and excellent host

We had a short but sweet family vacation. Doug is a excellent host. House was exactly as listed and met all of our needs. Close to boardwalk and just a few steps from the beach.

Great location, quiet area, 2 block walk to beach, and you definitely want a golf cart to get around area. Great restaurants with lots of atmosphere.

Great getaway

We loved that it was so close to the beach (2 blocks) and a quick drive to all the restaurants and hang outs. Doug was great to work with and answered all our questions! We had a great time!

Family got away

Family vacation

Booked this property for a family vacation. Doug the owner was quick to reach out and start our conversation. The house was super clean, easy access, and everything was just as he said it would be. My only complaint with this whole vacation, it just didn’t last long enough. They never do. 10/10 I would recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely be back.

Nice home in good location

Owner was very responsive when we had an issue with smoke detectors (totally not his fault). Everything about the house was as advertised.

Wonderful house and Great Owner!

The house was just perfect for our weekend away to attend a family wedding. Great accommodations for our 4 teenagers, my 84 yr old daddy, my husband and myself. When we has a little snafu Sunday morning before check out he let us stay a little later to get things worked out!

Girls trip

A small group of us planned this trip since October knowing how needed it was! The house was so pretty, welcoming and wonderful! Doug was very quick to communicate instructions and was very helpful with recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

The house was in an amazing location about 5 minute walk to the beach. There was enough parking for our 4 cars which was great. There was also a closet full of beach supplies! Other than that, the house is very low stocked on everything which was shared by the host prior to the arrival but we didn't know the extent so wanted to share that here. So, we recommend bringing anything you think you may need toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher fluid, cleaning supplies, paper towels etc. The host ended up giving us extra trash bags which we greatly appreciated but there was some rude texting (off VRBO app) prior to that. Some parts of the house didn't seem to be in great condition (for ex rust and stained spots in the shower) but It didn't affect our stay. Overall would likely stay again due to low price and close proximity to the beach.

Great space and location!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was ideal; just a very quick walk to the beach access! And the house was nice, plenty of space and nice front decks. Doug was extremely responsive and helpful! There are some things to note: there is no gas grill any more; the dishwasher doesn't work well (it was really difficult to get the flatware clean!); and there is no dish drying rack.

Plenty of space

This three story condo is great for a large group. We especially liked the four bedroom/bathroom lay out. This is not a place for those who can’t manage stairs, but that made for plenty of privacy. Not a bad walk to the beach. Straight shot to the beach from the driveway.

Comfortable beach getaway

This was a very comfortable home, with a great open gathering space on the main floor. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars was the fact that the top balcony was closed off (after being prominently highlighted in the listing) and that we were not advised to bring toilet paper (which we would have happily done if just told there wasn't a supply in the house). The beds were comfortable and everything was clean when we arrived.

Thx James. I was hoping to earn your 5-star rating. But perhaps next time. The top-balcony was closed as it's a (major) safety concerns. As for the TP, I'll be sure to note that for upcoming visitors. We leave 1-roll in each bathroom; but we don't think it's appropriate to stock the unit more than that. Thx again -Doug

Great location-house needs some repairs

Pros-location, lots of hot water, lots of space Cons- very hard guest room beds,no alarm clocks, needs better selection of glasses and a better frying pan, kitchen ceiling light full of dead bugs, exhaust fan in 3rd floor bath doesn’t work,3rd floor bedroom closet clothes rack is broken, and frig could be replaced.

This review was supposed to be re-reviewed or pull-off by VRBO. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Nevertheless, I'd like to address each of these: - Beds; difficult issue because I have renters complain about both (too hard or too soft). It's worth pointing out we have brand new mattresses in the bunk bed room (2) and master bedroom (1). - Alarm clocks; They are located in the night-stands. Renters continue to unplug, put them in the nightstand and use their phones instead. - Glasses and Frying Pans; We actually purchased new cups, glasses and frying pans as recent as May to prepare for the season. It appears we have renters continue to take or damage hardware. Sorry for this. - Bugs; we have a extermination company that visits every month. Unfortunately, this has an impact on dead bugs. We will address light. - Exhaust Fan; noted. But I don't think this is a major problem. - Fridge; we've had this serviced multiple times. It works totally fine. The issue is over-use and over-packing. I'm confident that the renter experience was far better than a 3-star; which was shared by my renter (Sherry). I'm disappointed Sherry did not reach out to me during the rental period to answer any questions and provide immediate feedback and support. My goal is to surpass customer expectations.

Making Memories

Great location, just a short walk to beach. Cleanliness was not up to par but the owner said he would send someone over immediately. Large grill was not available to use and hair dryers were not in all bathrooms. Plenty of kitchen utensils, small appliances and seating. Owner was very responsive.

Thx Tami. I hope I was super responsive with each of your inquires. Sorry about the grill; as mentioned it was destroyed by previous renters and a smaller (charcoal) one was made available. As for the hair-dryer; sorry it was in inconvenience to grab a hair-dryer from 1 of the other 4 bathrooms. Once again, an issue whereby renters are walking away with hair-dryers unfortunately. Hope to earn a better than 3-star rating next time.

Overall Good Stay

Stayed for a week at this property and overall, it was a good stay. Would recommend. Pros: - Most amenities were provided (could use kitchen scissors though!) - Couch was very comfy and loved the dining room table - Location is perfect! - Loved the master bathroom shower!! Cons: - Deck patio wood needs to be replaced - we found many rusted, missing, or broken-tip nails all over and the low-seat chair is rotted - Electrical issues (main floor bathroom switch is wonky to keep light on, refrigerator light flickers as does the master bathroom main light) - Currently there’s construction going on next door and across the street (though this is to no fault of the host)

Great place for a family gathering.

There was plenty of space for myself, my adult daughters and their families. (10 of us) All the rooms were spacious and had good sized closets for storage. The bunk room was fun for the boy cousins to call "their space" and feel a little independence. The appliances worked but weren't at optimal efficiency. We had plenty of hot water for all ten us to shower after a day at the beach. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed plus more. Overall, our stay was great and a fun place for us to meet and be together.
