This is a great condo for a getaway. Right on the beach! It was convenient to other attractions as well! The only thing missing was coffee but a trip to the store took care of that!

Beach wedding stay - 3 nights

Accessing the room was seamless. We had plenty of space to get ready for our little beach wedding. I appreciated the full length mirrors.I was some disappointed in that we didnt have direct access to the hamnock patio area and the full beach view. From the room balcony you see the ocean... not what the shore is looking like for crowding.You are directly across from the indoor pool/spa area. That is wonderful for access, not wonderful for noise control. Just something to keep in mind if you plan on going to bed before 10.We appreciated the living room space and the kitchen space. The bathroom being split was also a plus!Bring your own coffee... you have a coffee maker! There is also a starbucks in walking distance.Overall, we are pleased with this stay.

We had a wonderful time at this location. The host was easy to communicate with. The condo was clean and well maintained. My family and I will definitely be back!

Pictures were adequate.

The place has been used by people who don't care about their vacation environments. The Kitchen needs repairs, the bathroom could use more than 1 towel bar and other repairs. The condo is on the same floor as the pool and the sundeck, which is both a curse and a blessing depending on your situation. We never saw or heard any security near the pool at at the 10 pm closing time and a lot of people were allowed to make as much noise as they wanted, running up and down the hallway and banging on the doors until well past 11 pm. Brian was amenable in allowing us a few extra days to finalize our home purchase and we were extremely grateful to his allowing us to stay put for the four extra days to finish up the paperwork. Review

Our stay was good for the most part! Pros: Check in was easy. The room key code was messaged to me prior to check in. No key card was nice because you didn’t have to worry about losing it at the beach. Our room was clean and had everything we needed! Cons: the smell of marijuana overwhelmed the hallways and parking garage (no fault of the condo owner). Security was working on finding the source. The parking was horrible. The parking garages are tiny and fill up quickly. We ended up paying for parking on the street to avoid the hassle.

Do not recommend …..keep looking

Beach front view doesn’t exist it was the Sun deck view, when it said the place was under construction they failed to mentioned that we would be woke up every morning by a jackhammer right outside our door, the bedding was dirty, there was blood on the nightstand, the owner offered us $50 to compensate us for when they put a notice they were turning the water off for the day…we had a 6&9 year old with us that was disrespectful…the owner offered to move us or give us an extra day after we had already unloaded the car then turned around and said oh never-mind I can’t and offered $50….do not recommend staying here. Although the price is nice it comes with headache and low expectations, spend the money and have a better stay somewhere else.

Do not recommend the Caravelle Resort

Well since VRBO gives a character limit, I’ll just provide the negatives of the condo/resort in list order. Cockroach in bathroom, holes in blanket, thin very old and worn bedding and towels. Wet dishes. Dirty cabinets. Items left over from last guests that cleaning overlooked. Not walking distance to anything other than 1 restaurant and a pizza place. Obstructed beach view due to the large deck. People can see into your condo. Condo right across hall from indoor pool, construction noise is ridiculous. Dirty dirty dirty condo. No where to store groceries. Basic cable only no tv guide either. Definitely not a home-y or welcoming condo. Felt like I had to walk around with shoes on all the time like I was staying at a bad hotel. Inside of cabinets and on top of fridge were super dirty. Had to clean the coffee pot from old coffee grounds being spilt inside it. I chose this condo to save money so that’s what I get. I learned my lesson. Go somewhere else besides the Caravelle because I get the impression it’s like this in all of the condos. They posted signs saying people were trespassing, never saw security. Never saw them clean the pools except when someone pooped in one. Slow elevators. Literally no positives for the Caravelle other than it’s right on the beach.

Beachfront lovely stay

Less than two minute walk to the beach, you can see it from the community patio, but you can see the ocean from the balcony(patio blocks view of beach itselt but its still right there) It was clean, and very convenient location as we were able to walk to alot of places Elevators are slow but other than that its perfect

Nice stay

It was a nice stay. Brian kept his place clean and some of it was slightly updated. Enough space for 2 of us. We arent used to humidty as much as we come from the north so it was kinda of damp feeling at first. The resort it self where the condo lies could use some help. We understand this has nothing to do with Brian's condo, but the non smoking factor was not really enforced. Every time we went to sit on the deck someone was out smoking which turns off the factor of peacefully sitting out there. Overall it was good for what we needed it to be.

Great Stay!

Brian’s place was great! It was very clean and super spacious for just two of us. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do and is right on the beach. The only thing that wasn’t great was that the hot tub was closed, but that was no fault of the owners. Would definitely recommend Brian’s unit to anyone!

Great location

The photos of the room are exactly the way the condo looks. Condo was decently cleaned could have used a little better cleaning in the bathroom. No indoor pool or hot tub. Security guard mentioned it had been out quite awhile due to structural issues. Probably should be removed from listing till it’s fixed. Coffee maker didn’t work so I message owner who was great and dropped off a different one. Location is nice. Thank you

Great place to stay

This room was great and very clean. It was in a good location, steps from the indoor pool. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is the pools and hot tubs were not cleaned well, if at all while we were there. My mom and I had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

On the beach!

Nice condo unit right on the beach. The resort has a couple of pools and 3 hot tubs and a kids water area and lazy river. Really enjoyed the beach location. The balcony has a gap and then a patio area overlooking the ocean so it’s nice to walk out on the patio area to get a better viewing of the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

Pictures don’t do the justice of this unit with 3 full beds,a nice couch, 2 tvs all utensils if you like to cook ,Brian also provides plates , glasses and coffee mugs together w a coffee machine (bring filter) toaster and a mixer,towels , sheets and pillows What else do you need for a week off? Lots of amenities

The room was nice and clean. The security guards and the elevators are terrible everyone there was talking about how bad they were but of course that’s no fault of the condo owner. Overall it was a nice place with plenty of water activities for the kids and close to a lot of good restaurants and stores.
