La mejor ubicación en St Thomas!

Este es mi segundo hogar y paso 6 meses del año aquí. Es un condominio de 2 recamaras y 2 baños. Cuenta con 3 puertas corredizas de vidrio que dan al balcón con vista a la hermosa bahía de Bolongo con vista a las montañas hacia el norte. El balcón está sombreado después de las 10 am y es donde vivo. Puedes alimentar a las aves de azúcar, observar las iguanas y ver nuestro rayo manchado en las aguas de abajo. Los amaneceres son espectaculares. La cocina está totalmente equipada y todas las camas tienen cómodos colchones con almohadas. No hay sofás cama incómodos Puedes escuchar las olas de todas las camas si dejas las puertas abiertas, lo que siempre hago. Hay ventiladores de techo en todas las habitaciones. También hay aire acondicionado, pero no es necesario ya que los vientos alisios del sureste soplan directamente.

Amazing view from the patio! Perfect location on St Thomas. The host Karen was great, always helpful answering questions. The condo was clean and had everything you need for a great vacation.

Great Space Great Location

Exactly as the Host listed and more! Clean, spacious for 4 and prime location! Any issues we had the host was quick to fix! The only thing that could have made it better was more clear check in instructions! Overall we will be happy to return to this property!

St. Thomas

We enjoyed staying in this condo centrally located between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook. The owner was great to work with and kind enough to answer all of our questions. We had a wonderful two weeks visiting various beaches on St. Thomas and St. John in addition to some lazy days in Bolongo Bay.

Great family value

Karen is a wonderful hostess, providing everything we needed for an amazing family vacation. Kitchen is big enough for family meals. Washer and dryer in the condo. Plenty of sleep accommodations for everyone to have their own space. Great views from the balcony. Parking lot a little tight but the community is safe. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view

We enjoyed the location as we were close to everything. We did rent a car which also made our trip easier. It was a rainy night when we arrived, so we became lost. Karen the owner was very helpful guiding us to the rental location. The view fom the balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed snorkeling at Coki beach. Saw many fish, stingrays and jellyfish. The local food was delicious. We especially liked Bolongo Bay. We will definitely visit the Virgin Islands again.

View from condo excellent!

4 adults in their 60’s stayed one month: indoor and balcony furniture very uncomfortable, not conducive for seating, Smoke detectors dead, spare room a/c extremely noisy (owner fixed), shower liner ripped (replaced), broom worn out (replaced), main B/R shower head leaking +++, garbarator leaking ++ ( both fixed), one dish rag, one tee towel only, dishwasher I anchored, bedside light fixture unsafe, toilets in spare room must hold lever down fir toilet to flush or add extra water to bowl, amenities described in ad not available to condo renters, no grocery near, taxis not 7.00 as advertised but 10-14 dollars per person, loud construction in condo next door x 2 weeks of our stay, cleaning upon entry very poor, floors and mats dirty, had to move bed found wrappers and old clothes and lots of dust, tv had many channels initially and then decreased to only a few last two weeks, no internet last day..owner asked us to call service company, two coffee pots both had plates bubbled and rusty, coffee could not keep hot, condo needs to be updated and maintained for everyone especially long term renters comfort! Nice pot set!

Dirty smelly and Old Place

Had a horrible experience in this unit. Family vacation with 2 kids 4 adults The owner descriptions aren’t accurate. The place smells bad, dirty, hair everywhere, ants carrying crumbs around the living room. Bedroom dirty sheets around the bed, there were bugs and some luggage was under the bed already. Kitchen coffemaker dirty and broken, seasonings expired, cups and mugs dirty greasy, forks and spoons rusted. No kitchen soap no garbage bags, microwave rusted and dirty. No soap for the dishwasher. Bathroom stinks no shampoo no soap, Towels smelled like it was used. Blower rusty. Only one toilet paper available for 8 nights ? AC didn’t cool and started to leak after 15 mins. Broom and mop dirty. What It got my attention from this unit was the location and the view. The owner lied about how clean is this place. I Will never rent from her again so do yourself a favor and look for something better and clean than this place. The island has to many Beautiful places to stay with beautiful beaches. This was my 4th time in the Island but this time with my whole Family and this place was very disappointed.

Always nice at Watergate Villas

The location and view are great. Three pools you can walk too. We visited all three and they were good. Looking straight at the Ocean from a large balcony. You can hear the waves. Parking pass was missing. We went to office as soon as it opened and got a pass. Shower pressure good but hot water goes completely off every 30 seconds approximately. Goes from super hot to super cold over and over (safety issue). Reported it but told no fix for that issue. A/C unit in main room not working at arrival but manager reset the fuse box on day three (forgot on day two) and it started to work but weak. Manager is always polite. Split systems needed cleaning/service which may help. We were glad it was trying to cool and with the other 2 A/C's condo was acceptable. We left the windows and patio open first 3 days but this blew over stuff. When we opened the door lightweight items flew out the door. The lower pool has a foot wash which is perfect for cleaning off after visiting the beaches. Owner was fast to respond when contacted through VRBO. Bolongo Bay is not the best swimming beach. We've stayed in this complex twice before and the view and pools are worth it (good value for the $). We always rent a car and visit many of the other beaches. We like this complex for many reasons including good roads and parking. The cleaning person or someone should have a checklist to make sure everything works and is there to include parking pass, light bulbs and deep clean when necessary.

Bolongo Bay

I've stayed at Karen's property multiple times for work. The balcony is the perfect place to watch the sun rise over Bolongo Bay every morning. It's always a great place to relax after a long day. It's tucked away from the busiest parts of St. Thomas. Stay here.

Family get a way with adult kids

View was amazing and condo had plenty of space - Mim’s was a gray dinner place on site with great service. Enjoyed the pool as well.

Vacation June 2022

We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the waves on the ocean. The view was beautiful, easy access, communication with karen was prompt. Only down side is electricity went out 3 times in a 24 hour period, but that happens in St Thomas. Was only off for a couple of hour each time. We would stay there again. We were there for a week and have been twice and both times stayed at Watergate Villas East, a washing machine is a must in the condo! Thanks Karen for sharing your Condo. The Bean Family

The condo was just as great as we expected it to be! The deck and views were awesome!

We would absolutely stay here again and loved every minute! Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean every day was the best! Karen and her cleaning crew were great! The views off of the great deck were incredible! Thanks Karen!

Bolongo Bay

This place was incredible! I was working in St. Thomas for almost two weeks and woke up every morning to sit on Karen's balcony overlooking breathtaking Bolongo Bay. Karen was a great host, ready to answer any questions within the hour. Her place felt like a home away from home.

Living in Paradise....for a week

Villa was very nice. Everything you need is there. I feel you get so much for your dollar staying in a place like this. Two bedrooms/bathrooms, kitchen, etc. It was centrally located. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

Beautiful place- nice area for family

We had a great time at Bolongo Bay- Host was quick with responses :) We just missed the one email/text where it said which room we were to go to- so we were tired from travel and then hot in the sun for a bit! Place was right on the waterside like the pictures- pool was a ways a way but that was fine with me! ( not right down the steps- but over a couple condos) Mims coconut curry lobster 😀so so good!

I was born and raised in upstate New York. After graduation from Syracuse University in 1977 I fled to Atlanta, Ga to get out of the snow. After 29 years and a new hobby of racing sailboats St Thomas is a better fit. No more cold, the ocean and some of the best sailing in the world. It is my perfect place.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Honestly, I bought the balcony and the condo was free. My dream was to lay in my bed and listen to the ocean. This was the only property that fit that criteria. It is as close to living on a boat as I could get with more space and all the conveniences of home.

Fantastic neighbors. Great location. Walk for beach, snorkeling, pool, restaurants and live music.
